Comments: I have worn different models of Asics, Mizuno, Addidas, Saucony, Skora and Montrail that felt comfy right out of the box. I also tried out a pair of the On Cloudracer and instantly fell in love with it, but at the time, I didn't need another pair of racers or flats. What I felt I needed was exactly what the Cloudsurfer promises - a shoe for longer mileage, better recovery and foot/ankle strengthening. I think the Cloudsurfer does make good on those promises, and now that it's broken in, I look forward to my running in them whenever I can. However, unlike the Cloudracer and other aforementioned shoes I own, it took several weeks for me to feel good about and in the shoe. To be fair, I wasn't running in them very often because I didn't actually like the feel. Many times I thought about returning them, but I didn't and then one day they just suddenly felt like they were made for me. Now I enjoy them quite a bit. I would urge any new owners to be patient with them. It's worth the wait.
