Comments: First Salomon shoes I've really LOVED. Have removed the insole altogether and they're great like this, still plenty cushioning, flexible and grippy. One of the wider Salomon shoes. I have the Sense Ultras and they are just too narrow.

Comments: These are great trail shoes. The fit is spot on, lace locking system is awesome with the lace storage. The head drop is perfect for me. Enough heal to be helpful without getting in the way. The shoe is lightweight for having 8mm lugs and good looking. The second time wearing them I raced over 13 miles of extremely technical trails without slipping once. I had to confidence to bomb the down hills and the traction to hammer the uphills while all the runners around me struggled to get a grip. No issues with blisters, hot spots, or bruised toe nails. I will be back on the trails wearing my Fellraisers.

Comments: Used these for first time in Tough Mudder and these will now be my go to shoe for mud/obstacle course races. Pros: Built like a tank, but still incredibly light weight, insanely grippy tread (these shoes eat slippery, steep, muddy hills), 6mm drop just feels more stable to me when traversing extreme terrain vs. higher drop shoes, Pretty comfortable even at 10-12 miles, lacing system, generous toe box, price point. Cons: Does not seem to drain quite as fast as some other shoes I've done mud/OCR's in, but that is probably a sacrifice made for increased durability, Fit is a bit on sloppy side and I've run in more comfortable, precise fitting and faster/more responsive shoes on market for regular trail run (non-mud/OCR) racing. Overall: Great choice for those looking for a light, comfortable, ultra aggressive shoe for mud/OCR racing especially where extreme terrain is involved.

Comments: Just finished a seriously hard adventure running race in these shoes and I am super impressed. I have a pair of sense mantras that I love, but I knew they did not have the tread I needed for this race. The tread pattern of these shoes is amazing! They go uphill and downhill with no issues what so ever (no more slipping and sliding down loose steep trails). I still like the fit of my sense mantras better due to my super low volume foot. The only complaint I have is with the insole. Half way through the race I felt like my sock was bunched up in the middle of my foot. My shoes had been soaking wet and the course contained some serious up and straight down running so I thought a bunched up sock was par for the course. On further inspection post race, I realized that the insole had actually bunched up in the middle (sort of folded in on itself like an accordion. Hopefully this will not happen again.
