Scott Race Rocker 2.0 Men's Shoes Green/Red Customer feedback

Comments: Gotta say I'm loving these shoes and a big improvement over the first version. The rocker is subtle but feels really smooth and they turn over like butter. Upper is much better: very breathable, snug in the right places, very few seams. So far the most I've run in them is ~14 but I definitely think these would be great for marathon distance, if you're already comfortable in light-weight shoes or flats. I take my normal size, which is a first for scotts where I used to have to go up 1/2 size. I have ~75 miles on them so far and they look like new. Surprisingly comfortable at slower speeds too, but feel really tuned in at fast speeds. Laces seem to get untied easily, but I have that problem with most of my scotts (but not my other shoes). I also run in the skechers go speed 1/2, NB 1400 v2, Nike LunaRacer 2. These are probably in a tie with the skechers for my favorite shoes at the moment.

Comments: Scott shoe sizing varies wildly across their line of running shoes. I've purchased 3 different models and all of them fit VERY differently. My normal running shoe is size 12 - one pair was 1/2 size too tight, one pair (in another model) was 1/2 size too large, and one pair was one full size too big (in yet another model) - all were road shoes (and not models for triathletes). Running Warehouse has a good return policy - you will need it given the irregular sizing across their model line. I've sent Scott a note but not sure how they are addressing it as new models are released.
