Comments: Awesome shoe; great intermediate step to low heeled shoes; light and soft with low heel/toe; springy; tongue is longer in this pair which is an improvement as first pair of Guide 5s (royal blue) had s short tongue that would slip down; not so with the orange pair. First pair got approximately 450 miles. Very pleased and convert from Nike Structure Triax (13-15).

Comments: Great shoe. Very comfortable and stable on long and tempo runs. If I had to do it again though I would go a half size up. The tow box was bit snug for my liking. I am overall very pleased with this shoe.

Comments: First Saucony shoes. Using Guide 5's for daily 3 mile runs for the last month. Mostly inside track to check them out. Really like the shoes so far. Fit perfect and no problem with the 8mm heel drop. Plenty of cushioning. Good support for all the indoor turns.

Comments: I absolutely love this shoe. It is my favorite among the Mirage, Cortana and Fastwitch. I did not like the Fastwitch at all btw. The Guide 5 is everything I have been looking for- perfect amount of cushion in the forefoot for a mid-foot strike. Perfect amount of stability and they are light. I really like the 8mm of drop - it feels very natural and easy on my body. The 4mm in the Cortana and Mirage would sometimes make my Achilles and soleus overly tight. Love this shoe- want to get another pair. The blue ones are baller but the new orange color looks even cooler. Love it. Thank you Saucony.

Comments: Amazing mix of cushioning and stability, all in a lightweight package. Absolutely have fallen in love with the Guide 5! Previously have ran in Guide 4 and Echelon 1 & 2. No complaints about any of those. But the Guide 5 offers EVERYTHING that I need in a shoe: Less weight, lower profile(but not too low), good cushioning, and light stability for slight over-pronation. The Guide 5 works great for my short speed runs, my mid-distance tempo runs, and my long distance slow runs for marathon training. Very impressive work by Saucony!
