Comments: Like the previous reviewer said, these shoes have some thermal properties, so I use them as my winter trainers, and they are perfect for that purpose. They keep out water whether from rain or small puddles, and they keep in warmth too, so my toes don't go numb in freezing temperatures. I can't imagine using them when temperatures are above 60F, but in cold weather my feet don' sweat. Also these shoes have good traction for light trails and occasional off-roading.

Comments: These shoes will keep water out like a champ, but they also won't let your sweat evaporate at all. What that means is that if it's warm out your feet may end up wetter than they would have been had you actually run in the rain in a regular pair of shoes. For sub-70 degree wet days, these shoes may be spot on. I did try them in some colder weather as well, and they do have some thermal properties to them so they may be a better winter shoe. Either way, I got tired of soaking wet socks and feet coming out of these on even short runs.
