Cushy Underfoot, Terrible Heel CupI have been wearing these for about two weeks, mostly walking around my neighborhood and on the treadmill. They are very soft and comfortable underfoot, but are giving me very bad hot spots/blisters on the upper part of the heel cup. I have experienced this with certain shoes before, so I know that my heel is part of the problem, but I would still not recommend these over the Brooks Ghosts I had been buying previously. They do look great though.

Marathon ShoeThis was my 3rd pair of Endorphin Speed 3's. I use these for faster training days as well as racing my marathons. I'm hesitant to use carbon-plated shoes and with the nylon plate, I have no issues. After running 26.2 miles my feet still feel fine.

Poor quality control by SauconyI have purchased five pairs of the Endorphin Speed 3 over the last 18 months. I have discovered that width of a 9.5 varies with the color. For example, a 9.5 in concrete or ocean fits me normally; however, a 9.5 in black and gold in narrower and uncomfortable. This makes it risky to purchase the shoe online, or a hassle at the least because the shoe may have to be returned.

Best shoeThis is my new favorite, everyday running shoe. Seriously the best shoe I have ran in for awhile. I’m a 3:25 marathoner, 5’5 , 110lb with a neutral foot. This shoe has everything; very light, supportive, responsive and pretty sweet looking too! I usually alternate my shoes with New Balance rebel, New Balance 880’s but lately I’m only wearing these everyday. I run 30 plus miles weekly. Ran 14 in them the other day and my legs were very happy! I will buy more of these.

Great for running, but not for my feet...The Nylon plate is a great technology that feels almost as snappy as the carbon, but with a little more squish. The shoe overall was very good for the faster workouts I use it for but there are 2 problems. First one being my achilles seriously being irritated on the right side only, even after 60 miles of breaking them in. The second problem I felt from the first couple wears but only really bothered me until later on, which is the area right below my pinky toe hurting. I naturally overpronate a little and land on that area but usually shoes have enough cushioning to support my pronation. But for these shoes they ended up hurting my feet, which effects me even if i don't wear these shoes.

Glad I give them a tryTried the Saucony endorphin speed and pro older versions and wasn't a fan. So glad I decided to try the speed 3 , such an improvement. Love them. So great for my everyday days ,recovery and easy days. If you are still thinking about trying them , please do. You won't be dessapointed. Take it from a running shoe nerd (aka me)

Saucony Endorphin Speed 3I like to run in different brand shoes and I like trying new shoes. I stumbled on the Endorphin Speed 3 a few years ago and really got hooked on them. For some reason same course same distance same heart rate my pace is faster in these shoes. No break in needed and put on a new pair and go 10 miles as if I had been running in them for miles. Not a technical review just a runner and his shoes lol.

Great, just watch your heels!Overall this is a great shoe for tempo/workout runs and can even be used on recovery runs given the bounciness of the foam. While not as fast as a carbon plated shoe, that's not the point of these shoes as more day-in-day-out workout trainers. Grip is generally good though less so when the roads are wet, and otherwise good control, no concerns about stability. Foam is pretty resilient, both on pretty poorly surfaced NYC streets as well as on hard pack and dirt roads with rocks, have not had problems with the foam getting chewed out unlike vaporflys. One thing to be careful about is they do go high up on the heel compared to other shoes so if not broken in well can cause blisters on the back of your ankle, take it easy the first few runs with these to break them in so this doesn't happen.

A fine shoe, nothing moreI was excited to hear that the Speed was going to be revamped with a wider, more secure base. While I had liked the earlier versions of both the Speed and Pro, I was one of the many who found earlier iterations of both shoes to be too unsteady for me, so I saved them both for racing. This time, so I thought, the shoe would be the perfect marriage of snappiness and security. I’ve run in these for a month now, about 50 miles, and alas, I can only say that the shoe is fine… not a perfect marriage of security and speed, but actually, we’ll… the wider base has made the shoe a bit clunky. For years I have love the Triumph as a distance/training/recovery shoe, and several other lightweight racing shoes has been good for short speedy runs, and I’ve been hoping that Saucony could finally make a middle-ground shoe (say, a 10k-15k racer) as good as they’ve done the ultralights and ultra cushioned. This is not it, and neither were any of their other attempts. Maybe it’s a stepping stone and the Speed 4 will get it just right, but the only consistent things seeing from Saucony (besides the wonderful Triumphs) is a steady increase in pricing. If you liked the Speed or Pro 1-2, you’re going to be disappointed in the heavy feel of the shoe (though it’s not actually heavy) and the less snappy turnover.

I loved 1&2, but this one, not so muchI'm disappointed actually. I'm a 40 ish + (depending on the training cycle) mile a week guy so I burn through a fair amount of shoes. I loved versions 1 & 2. This version (3) doesn't work for me. Just feels flat/less responsive. I hope the 4 is better!

Good shoes but durability is an issueComparing to speed 2, speed 3 has better cushion and good for any distance running. But it has much less rubber on the bottom and worn off with only 250 miles. With speed 2, it can last up to 500 miles.

Makes running fun!Coming from the Hoka Mach 4 and 5 I was looking for a plated racer. Tried the Hoka MachX and liked the Mach 5 better. Many great reviews pointed me towards the speed 3. They have been great from the start. The speed roll and plate are noticeable. The Hoka Mach 5's fit like a glove. These feel a bit looser of a fit. It really is not an issue. Great shoe! I would recommend giving them a try.

Speed 3 - Nice, Cushy RideI previously had a pair of Speed 2 for comparison. I waited almost a year to purchase the Speed 3 because I wear a wide width and I was hoping they would make wide for the Speed 3, they never did. I read reviews again on the Speed 3 and another runner friend confirmed that the Speed 3 was indeed a wider version, I just had to go up a size. I normally wear a 7.5 wide but the Speed 3 in size 8B was a perfect fit. The only thing I noticed that was a little different was the rolling part. On the Speed 2, I could feel the roll and it was springy versus the Speed 3, I cannot feel it, nor the springy part but the shoe is definitely comfortable and cushioned well. I would wear these on short and long runs.

Continues to be a great shoe!I have run on the original Speeds, the Speed 2's, and now the Speed 3's. They have all been great shoes and the Speed 3 does not disappoint. I have two pair (one with RunShield) and I use them for my long runs and tempo runs. The shoe has great energy return and they hold up mile after mile (I ran 700 miles on a pair of Speed 2's!).

Too squishy - serious Achilles tendon issuesI really wanted to like these shoes - I’m a huge fan of the Endorphin Pro and Endorphin Elite. But the Endorphin Speeds are way too spongy for me and every time I use them I get severe Achilles tendon pain. After just 21 miles and tendon pain on all runs (lasting several days each time) I am done. Retiring them — sadly I was too confident in my purchase and threw the box away on the first day, so no refund. I paid $7.61 per mile and my Achilles is not impressed Lesson learned. Big difference between Endorphin lines and this one is not for me.

Favorite Saucony ShoeBought these for speed work during marathon training, was going to wear the Pro 3 for the actual race but ended up wearing the speeds as I found them much more comfortable and forgiving, while still feeling light and springy. They held up incredibly well over 26.2, and amazingly no blisters. Still loving them for tempo/workouts, would give 5 stars but after ~150 miles the upper started to break down and rip around where it connects to the sole of the shoe. Will probably buy another pair regardless.

1 Month - 60 milesBought these for a Fall Marathon Race. After a month I have about 60 miles on the shoes which breaks down to about 47 training miles and one half marathon race. Right out of the box these shoes feel ready to go without much break in required. They performed perfect at half marathon pace without going soft and giving up on me at the end of the race. I have also logged a 21 mile training run with these shoes. Toe box has plenty of room. Laces and tongue didn't give me any issues. I can tell that the soles of these shoes will wear quicker than I would like, but right now that's the only drawback. Looking forward to my upcoming Marathon.

Good Shoe, little softGood trainer for speed, but also does well as a trainer. Just a hair softer than I prefer. Pros: Lightweight + Speeroll = can really turn over for speed work Upper- fairly comfy + breathable Shoe works very well as a daily too. Cons: Shoe is a little short. I wouldn’t size up, but toe box could use some space. PB is a little soft for speed work. The nylon plate is easy on the caves, but maybe it could be a tad stiffer - or maybe even a carbon plate….but I guess it would be the Endorphin pro then. Laces are a problem - they are way to stretchy and cheap for a fast shoe, I replaced mine. Grip- could use a tad more in the front. Works fine on dry concrete. Overall good one to add to the rotation.

Better every day trainer, if less racerComing from version 1 to this version, the platform is more stable, and better suited for every day training and running a marathon or longer. It doesn't feel as fast as the first version, and there is a definite loss of pop to the shoe. This is due to the slight more softness underfoot. It is still very good, very light, breathable, and I do enjoy running in it a lot. Whereas before , version 1, I felt you could really push the paces in it, this one seems like you might push but with the loss of rebound , you'd be just a bit slower. Even so, still recommend and would purchase again.

Absolutely AmazingI really love the shoes. I would give them 5 stars but the back does press against your heel which causes rubbing and irritation so wear long socks. Otherwise, the shoes are responsive sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm wearing them cause I will speed up without any cause. You can really feel the push off them

Fast and long lasting shoesThese shoes feel like they propel you forward. They are also very comfortable and long lasting unlike other shoes designed for speed. I got about 800 miles out of them. My only wish is that Saucony would make the out side around the ankle bone a bit lower. They rub my ankle bones and I’ve heard this from other runners as well. I can tolerate it or use an inner sole for a lift.

Disappointingvery disappointed with these shoes. There is no comparison between these and the speed 2. The speed 2 was my favourite shoe ever. The 3s are sluggish in comparison and have almost no energy return. I hope the next version is more like the speed 2

a love it or hate it shoe (all love from me)Never ran in the first two models but this shoe does it all for me with the one exception being recovery pace. 350 miles on them (mostly hot FL pavement until moving recently) and they still feel practically out of the box. I love the S plate and the PEBA midsole together, such a beautiful combination of cushion, bounce, and propulsion with the speed roll tech. this is one of the greatest uppers I have ever put my foot in. Hugs my feet like a cheesy Gordita crunch. Saucony is killing the game. I encourage anyone to try this shoe if you haven’t already.

Trainer versions outshining the elite versionIn the last year, I have found for so many shoes, that the less expensive trainor version are MUCH better for me than the elite version of of the various running shoes. The endorphin speed 3 is the best example of this compared to the endorphin pro 3. It finally occurred to me when evaluating what shoe is best for my running performance, that instead of going on faith that what is best for world class athelites must be best for me as well is completely wrong! In the past year, I have found that the most significant variable in my running performance is the avoidance of sharp pain in the balls of my feet. The less ball pain, the better I perform. I have more fun and I can run longer. While carbon fiber inserts do increase energy return on my stride, what Im gaining from that is sooner than later a lost benefit as with carbon fiber inserts, the balls of my feet soon become agitated due to the recurring pouncing on carbon plate itself. Especially for super shoe models that put the carbon fiber plate closer to the top of the midsole making it closer to the bottom of the foot. The endorphin speed is fantastic for me! The midsole material is very light but very springy, and it still provides decent energy return minus the pain. I love this shoe! The upper is very comfortable as well. I think that the stack height of the midsole is close to just right as I do prefer a larger midsole, but also do understand that on some running shoes, the midsole is so big that although it may be psychological, they just look so massive that I feel slower. These shoes from that perspective still give my the impression that Im in a faster tempo shoe. This shoe is a real winner! But again, across the board, Im finding that I like much more the trainor version of the elite models and these versions are consistantly anywhere from 50 to 90 dollars less than the elite counterparts.

The BEST Speed 3 yetI loved the Speed 2s and worried about the 3s. At first, my runs felt uncomfortable and I really didn't like them. But, as I kept trying them, I fell in love with them. They are no longer a firmer speed shoe but a more cushioned speedy everyday one. I just ran my fastest half-marathon time in 3 years in them. I just bought my second pair. The only thing I would like is a better outsole: more rubber and grippier.

Endorphin Speed 3 after 100 milesDidn’t want to form opinions one way or another until after I broke them in and got a variety of runs in them. Right now I’m using them as my main shoe for my high school track season with Peg 39’s for shorter runs and Alphafly’s, Dragonfly’s, and Air Zoom Victory’s for racing. For these I was really looking forward to a lightweight shoe but with enough cushion to handle long runs and easier miles. While I wouldn’t call them soft, they have really good underfoot protection and a decent amount of bounce without being too firm. Some of my favorite runs in them so far have been long progressions where I start off easy and finish at a tempo pace. I’ve used them for some lactic 800’s on the track as well but found they weren’t quite as firm and stiff for something that fast and I quickly fell from the goal pace of 2:15-2:20. Where these seem to really shine though is moderate to tempo paces or from around 6:30 down to 5:20 with easier paces around 7:00 still comfortable. I wouldn’t call these a recovery shoe however for they don’t seem to let me go down to the 7:30+ paces like pre-race shakeouts or recovery long runs. As for fit, I went with my true to size US 14 and while they were shorter than typical 14’s and I worried I’d blister, the toe box on them were more rounded off than say, Nike narrow. The youngest slippage that a lot of people have pointed out is something I’ve noticed too, but with the softer, stretchy laces that come with the shoes I don’t have any pains or problems associated with the tongue sliding down. Lastly is the look, and though I consider them worthless compared to the functionality of a shoe, the Endorphin Speed 3 is up there with one of my favorites. The sleek design mixed with the accents are a winning combination and mixed with the number of colors available, there’s a Speed for everyone. I personally went for the Prospect color way due to the very few men’s shoes with a fun, colorful design, especially in my size. While I didn’t give it a 5 star review, I believe that it is a very good option for most people. The only shoe I believe is comparable with this based off a few things I needed is the Brooks Hyperion Max. These are both shoes that I believe can go long, fast, and last up to the 400+ mile mark, even with the dirt and gravel roads I commonly hit. The main deciding factor for me was just when it came down to the cushion level for longer, easier runs and the Speed was just the undeniable best choice for that.

Heel Cup Runs Dangerously HighThis was my fifth pair of Endorhin Speed shoes; I ran two pairs of the first edition and then 2 pairs of the 2nd into the ground; I loved them. The 3rd edition felt great when I put them on, but within 5 miles of my first run with them, the back of my ankles were just cut up and bleeding from a particularly high heel cup digging into the skin. Kept me off my runs for two weeks!

Lightweight and a popThis is the first pair of running shoes I have purchased that are made for SPEED. I considered getting a carbon plate shoe, but figured these should do the trick and are a little cheaper. I saw that a lot of runner writing reviews online had this shoe in their rotation. As a wearer of the Triumph shoes Saucony makes, I figured I would give these a shot. So far, so good! I did size down from a 12 to an 11.5 because I saw that they fit a bit big, but I think they are probably right on when it comes to sizing. I could send these in and get a 12, but so far, I have not had any blisters on the front of my toes, so that tells me the 11.5 is just fine, but maybe just a touch tighter. Looking forward to trying out the carbon plate Sauconys that came out this year. I think those will be great for races and these will be great for runs requiring speed or some longer tempo intervals.

Good Tempo-Track Training ShoeAfter I read a well-known shoe review, I tried the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3 as it was given a great review and their Wide-Foot reviewer said he was able to run in it even though it was not listed as Wide. The shoe turned out as expected from the review and I used it for my Tempo and Track days. I did notice a little tight on the width for about the first 20 miles, but it then conformed well to my wider feet. Great shoe for my speed work and glad I tried it.

Endorphin Speed 3People are loving on this shoe and I understand why. For some, it will be a great uptempo and budget racer, but for my feet and running, it didn't work out for me. On the 1st run on a treadmill, I had pain and numbness on the bottom of my right sole. This was repeated on track workout a week later. I am 6'5“ 220, so it may be that this shoe just isn't for my body type. The midsole also seemed cheap underfoot.

great shoe for up tempo run and long runsI have about 78miles with the shoes. I’m in the middle of a marathon training plan and was having trouble with finding shoes for my long runs that my feet didn’t hurt. These shoes have solved the issue. They are light and protect me on longer runs. They aren’t great for slower runs, you’ll need another shoe for your easy and recovery runs but if you want all arounder that allows you to fly when you want, this is the shoe for you. I’m. 54yo male runner (I’ve been running about 45years). I’m 5’11 and weigh about 170lbs. I run 30-40miles per week when not training for a race. I’m following the Pfizinger 55-70 18 week program somewhat losely.

Most favorite shoe I've ever run inI could instantly tell these shoes were exactly what I was hoping they would be: Pure butter. I've enjoyed every iteration of the Endorphin line, probably gone through about 10 pairs of various Endorphins. But these Speed 3's are the best I've ever felt. Great fit, the roll pushes you forward and they have the perfect combo of firm and soft. I'll add a few more to the stable to rotate through.

light. fast. bouncy.these shoes are great! i have really enjoyed them for 5k-10k tempo runs. i tried them years ago and the previous models did not work for me… lucky for me, they do now :) overall they fit true to size (might even have a little bit of extra room in toe box). giving them a 4/5 because they do take a little getting used to… hard to explain but you feel up above the shoes vs in control and on the ground. i run in hoka mach 5 when i’m not in these. they are lower to the ground and feel more stable.

Still the Best and getting betterSecond pair of Speed 3's, maybe 15th pair of Endo Speeds overall? Just perfect in every way. Definitely more room in the toe box for the 3, which is welcome but not loose. Still easy to get lockdown without any rubbing or discomfort. Same snappy toe off, same phenomenal energy return and cushion. Midsole seems to last about 300-350 miles before the Pebax pop fades. I keep looking for another trainer for no other reason than to change things up, but none are even close. I use it for all workouts and some mild trail use. Perfect compliment to Next% race shoe, but eager to see what the Endo Elite has to offer.

I hated this shoeFirst time I ran with these I hated them. Filled out the paperwork to send them back. Then I decided to give them one more try. I'm glad I did. I love them. I want to try the carbon plate next. I ran with Hokas before and like them, but my last pair was shot after 158 miles.

Wear QuicklyThey are great shoes. Smooth ride, comfortable, more fun than the Speed 2s. My only gripe is they are not very durable. The outsole wears extremely fast. For this price I should get more than a month or two of running in them.

Great shoeHaven't had this one long, but so far feels light and firm---you get good spring out of it. Yet it's substantial enough that your feet feel well protected and cushioned. Compared to Nova blast 3, it's lighter and has a smaller footprint in the sole

great distance shoeI wore this shoe in my first marathon. The shoes had great return energy, great roll and super light weight. The toe box was roomier than my previous Saucony. I trained in the endorphin speed 2 and these were very comparable, possibly even better. I had no issues with my feet during or after the marathon. I size up a full shoes size. I would buy this shoe again.

Really good, fast shoe.Great cushion, more stable than the 2s. I little higher drop than I'm used to, but really fun to run in. Taken up to 16 mile distance so far and they're fast and super comfy. A very fun shoe to run in.

Tongue is frustratingly defectiveI want to love these but I'm struggling. The 1s and 2s were awesome and my only gripe was stability and the narrow toe box. They fixed both of these issues with the 3s, but changed the tongue to an ultra thin piece of stretchy fabric and it constantly bunches up and slides below the top laces. I've played with different socks, lacing, etc and can't fix it. I'm 70 miles in so won't return but may look for some speed 2s for my next pair.

Not good for meThe Endorphin Speed 3 in my opinion is a step backwards. The stability materials they put in it makes it feel like a board on my foot. With the speed 2 I can feel the Bounce and the effects of the Nylon plate so much more than with the 3s. So I waited until the 2s went on sale and purchased 3 new pairs of them. Change is not always for the better.

Fun workout shoeThe fit on these is great for a person with a wider/ higher volume foot like me. You don't get a pogo stick responsiveness from these- more of a quiet assist- and they are pretty stable for being a plated shoe. Plus the citron color is fire! My only criticism is that the laces are really short so it can take a bit of time to get the fit right if you use a heel lock lacing pattern, but this is minor and you can always swap them out if you prefer. I primarily use these for workout days and for shorter races- I recently ran a massive 5k PR in them and really enjoyed the ride.

Truly a downgrade. Want to return mine.Stack height is overrated. Saucony sacrificed weight for thicker, clunkier feeling shoes because every brand tries (and often fails) to follow in the footsteps of Nike, I assume. If you want better shoes, Endorphin Speed 2s or even the 1s are a far better choice.

Love it so much I bought 3 pairI test out so many different running shoes from multiple brands and I feel that Saucony has been the main brand that's been putting so much into each shoe they came out with in 2022. And the speed 3's is truly amazing when it comes to running/training/walking all day in I bought 3 in different colors I couldn't help it ,I highly recommend this shoe!!

Speed and race day shoeThis is a lightweight shoe with great cushioning and a helpful architecture. I use this shoe for speed and tempo runs as well as on race day. The cushioning is bouncy but not soft. The speed roll technology is very helpful to encourage rolling gait. I don't feel the nylon plate at all. The shoe is pretty stable compared to the speed 1. The only downside has been how rigid the heel is which has given me some Achilles irritation.

Perfect for everythingI sized up 1/2 and now it's perfect. This is now my "go to" shoe. It feels light, great roll / transition, very stable, loves to go fast, my feet never feel sore after even long fast runs.

EZ RunningAuthor: 68yo, M, 66in, 170lbs. Long history of running(40 years), racing on road, track, trails and XC. Currently running/walking around 40 miles per week. Due to health issues unable to race or do speedwork. Shoe History: Run in selected shoes from most manufacturers. Prefer relatively soft, responsive and neutral shoes. Currently running in Endorphin Pro, Endo SPeed 1 and 3, Brooks Hyperion Tempo, Skecher Razor Excess 2, Nike Nexr% 2, Skecher Razor Trl. Sauc Endo Speed 3: Loved the Endo Speed 1 with the full length plastic plate. The Speed 3 is a total redo. The toe box is perfect for me with room to splay. It is a little roomier than the Speed 1. It feels lighter but is about the same when weighed. It has great toe off and some snap but feels a bit less snappy than the Speed 1. The plate in the Speed 3 is a little less protective. The shoe is responsive, cushy and you feel like you can just keep running in them. Negatives: Price($170)- I feel the ride is worth it, now will see how well they last. Poor traction on hilly dirt trails(No Cal dirt and rocks). Although it is not a trail shoe so there is that. Highly Recommended.

VersatileThis is my first pair of Speeds and I have to say that I am impressed. The shoe looks great, fits well, cushioning is just right, its light, and very responsive whether you are going fast or slowing down. I've been using these for warm up, warm down, tempo and speed workouts.

Love the responsiveness, but some flawsLove how they feel!! Easy days to speed days these are my go to shoes!! Wide toe box, enough cushion and enough ventilation! Only beef is the saucony design is falling off the shoes already after 3 longer runs!!!

Game ChangerI needed a marathon shoe for a race that came up in less than two weeks, and I was skeptical at first but was pleasantly surprised when I tried them out for a training run. My other shoes (Hoka Carbon X and Asics Noosa Tri 13) were reaching end of life and these shoes were the first Saucony model I tried. The first training run in them clenched it for me. Every step felt like a launch compared to what I had. They are so comfortable and don't tire my feet out. I will be using these for a while and may have to get another to alternate mileage.

runs shortI can't give a rating on how the shoe performs but I can say it runs short, about a half size. I returned it without taking it on a run. (I had to give a star rating for this to go through).

Exactly what i needed!I purchased the 2's and had to send them back because the shoe felt very unstable. I was upset because other than that the under foot feel was amazing. When I heard saucony made the shoe more stable I had to check it out.. THESE SHOES ARE AMAZING! for every run, from speed days to easy days to Race day! i think i found my forever shoe.. please Saucony don't change a thing about this shoe. I wear custom orthotics and they fit in these shoes comfortably.

Lightweight and Responsive! Some solid shoes here! I have a pair of the Speed Endorphin 2's and enjoyed them so upgraded to this model. I like the fit of these more than the 2's. The toebox and overall shoe seems a bit wider, while still being super light and comfortable!

Latest Iteration of Saucony's Endorphin SpeedAMAZING SHOE! I use this shoe specifically for tempo, threshold, and some higher end speed work. The foam is excellent and feels more stable than the Speed 2s. They feel lighter and more versatile. I don't have to worry about running turns to fast because these shoes will keep up. My only problem is that the edge of the inner part of the foam seems to be deteriorating rather fast.

Best Speed yetI've owned all the Speeds and they have all been pretty great. However, the fist two versions were just a bit unstable for me. This is completely solved in version 3! It's fast, soft and very stable. This is a do everything shoe. If you're only looking to buy 1 shoe to train and race, this is one of the best options out there.

Softer, more stable, not as good upper. The Speed 3 is softer and more stable than the 2. I have 450 miles on each pair of my 2's. The 2 is a firmer feel on the road. The 3 feels squishier. I hope the 3 can last as long since it's a softer foam. I like the wider stability of the 3. The upper has a shorter sewn tongue that isn't as comfortable as the 2 and I liked the flat laces of the 2 over the round of the 3. Lastly the heel is raised a mm or two and rubs the achilles bad. I have a bad blister from day one for the last 2 weeks only running 100 miles. Not happy about that. Lower the heel and keep everything else the same and it may be a better version.

Endorphin Speed 3! Better than 2?This is an honest review after running 20 miles. Keep in mind everyone has a different foot shape and size. I ordered a half size up same as the 2. I started running recently, I'm not a pro runner or even an experienced runner by any means. I'm a heavier set guy that runs long miles at a slow pace. I was so excited for this shoe when it was announced, it's so aesthetically pleasing. I ordered it the day it came out and have used it for about 3 days now. Have ran 20 miles in it and figured it's not for me. They mentioned they have made the show wider to it's hard to get locked down in the toe box. However for some reason the mid foot feels too tight and runs the side of my foot and makes it uncomfortable for me to run in. The shoe laces…. I HATE the shoe laces they are way toooooooo stretchy. Again foot shapes for everyone are different. If it wasn't for the pain it causes my mid foot I would love them. They are bouncy and you can feel the speed roll more than the 2s. Sadly no matter how much I try to love this shoe… I can't.
