Comments: Got these recently and love them, couldn't ask for more.

Comments: Have been running for over thirty years, and this is by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever run in. I pronate on left foot, and am neutral on other, so it is hard to find a shoe that is a good balance for me. I finally found that balance in this great shoe. I don't ever "think" about how the shoe feels when I run in them which is a good thing--it means I'm not trying to think how the shoe could be better while running--it's just a very cushioned and stable shoe that works for me.

Comments: Love this shoe. It has a great combination of cushioning and responsiveness.

Comments: I love the cushioning that these shoes provide during long runs but in the pair that I received, I get terrible blisters along the instep of both feet; I can feel a small gap between the sockliner/footbed and the side of the shoe near the ball of the foot. This is what causes the blisters. I will attempt to replace the sockliner with a name brand insole to see if that helps.

Comments: First time buyer. I am rotating among Kayano 17, GT 2170 and Saucony Pro Grid 5. Used it for a 5 mile run on the treadmill at 7.5 mph avg pace. Of the 3, Pro Grid always gives a squeaky sound when my right foot lands at speed below 7 mph. I thought it is due to the lower drop but this one does not squeak- a plus. Cushion/support is good. I still rate Kayano 17 the best of the 3 in terms of support/cushion and the bearhug-around-the-heel feeling. I need to lace it up tightly to get the heel-hug. Would be nice to have more puffy stuff around the ankle collar (as in ASIC's PHF system). The construction: you can actually see holes in the top fabrics so the ventilation is good. Surprise: it has a small pocket in the tongue -- good for two keys or SD cards?

Comments: I bought these because the Cortanas were just not right for me... (suckered into the lower heel, flat footed fad I guess)- my bad- I knew I needed more support. After running into injury with the Cortanas these Hurricane 14's are just what the doc would want me to wear. Now, I don't limp thru the run (or after) and the injury can be placed in the "old injury" file instead of being reason for not running. Lightweight- even with the maximum support, responsive with all the cushioning, no hot spots... For anyone wanting/needing support/cushioning these shoes could not be any higher rated. I will definately buy another pair. Saucony did it right again.

Comments: I have been wearing Hurricanes since model four. This will probably be my last pair. The 8 mm drop caused me foot and ankle pain that I was able to mitigate by adding a gel heel insert to raise my heel in the shoe. Saucony should have kept the old high drop and created a new model for the minimalist fad.

Comments: This is a superb longer distance trainer and even now light enough for some racing. Much better forefoot cushioning and just enough medial support to know it's there! Toe off has a nioe spring, but it is not, all mushy feeling. Does run a 1/2 size small, but overall it is vastly improved shoe in all respects..

Comments: I've been wearing the Hurricanes since the 9's came out and the 14's feel WAY different than any of the previous Hurricanes. Now to see how they hold up being rotated with some semi-fresh 13's ?
LOTS lighter feeling ... with more cushion from foot-strike to push off which is nice...the toe box feels a tad narrower ...well the whole shoe seems smaller. Most all had a uniform fit but this one varies. I wear size 10.0 , think a 10.5 might have been better... I run a average of 35-40 mpw and i run most every day , which works for me ! Took a 6 mile spin , everything felt awesome. The new laces are flat and tie better than others ....and i dig the bright green colors. Running before dawn everyday, i'll take all the help i can get.
