Like Walking on a CloudAfter trying several other Hokas, I found this shoe to be the most comfortable walking shoe! The front of the shoe is a little wider than some of the other Hokas I tried, and it fits my normal width feet perfectly. I noticed that I can walk miles without feeling the back or hip pain that used to sneak up on me after several miles. I have never worn a shoe as amazing as this in my life and am hooked! ;)

HOKA Bondi 8 Men's Shoes Sharkskin/Harbor MisI have purchased 6 HOKA shoes. These shoes fit fairly well. Shoe does allow movement within the shoe. After wearing tight fitting shoes, I've found no a problem with the fitting of the shoe overall.

Stellar ShoeShoe lasted 383 miles of asphalt running before they felt flat. Despite the high mileage they still look great. The upper is just dirty, no peeling of the sole, and tread has minimal wear given the miles. Though I plan to retire them from training, I will be wearing them casually for many more miles.

Bondi 8This shoe is so worth trying on in store. Walk around and get the feel of it. So well balanced and very light. I tried them on a treadmill in store and instantly they felt right. I have since used them outdoors and they are a perfect pair for that occasion. I bought my first pair a week before I bought this pair at another location and decided to go online and get another pair. They are true to their size. I wear a 8&1/2B. Thought I needed more room. Tried the 9 but was just tooo big. I don’t like wide width. Just tooo roomy for my narrow foot. So go ahead and give it a shot if you looking for a well balanced shoe! You won’t be disappointed!

BondiOnce again started running on Bondi , I ran ultras marathons on Bondi 1 and 2 before , hated the looks but the best running shoes ever, a bit heavy but definitely worth it, now after about 10 years or more decided on the Bondi 8 felt very different a bit stiff, but once you run on them brings back the old memories , have not put many miles on them yet but like what I see so far

Still like the hoka's over the last 16 yrs.I truly love the soft riding of the three pairs of Hokas before the firm was sold about 14 yrs ago. For an 85yr old guy, I still get 3 miles in about six days a week. I still like them, but nothing like yrs. ago. Just bought 3 pair of 8's at a discount.

solid shoeI have run in HOKA's since 2017, and have yet to find a pair that don't work for me. They are not all great (although many are), of course, but never bad. I have yet to return a pair. This version of the Bondi is OK. This model has a better fitting upper for my narrow foot than the 7. It seems like the engineered mesh has evolved, it just seems better quality. The running feel is true to previous models, imo. I will admit that I don't pay that much attention to how shoes feel, beyond how soft they feel underfoot. I find the HOKA's (across the board) have a road feel that works. Firm but not hard. I'd run in this model, until the 9 comes out!

Disappointed with the 8sAfter 100s of miles in my Bondi 6s, I finally decided to retire them for two pairs of 8s. Very clearly not the same shoe. The toe box is narrower, and I get blisters on the side of my feet and big toes if I run more than an hour. The workmanship is also a little disappointing. I'm wearing my 6s now as my everyday sneakers and they are still overwhelmingly more comfortable and stable (and styling too) and it just makes me even sadder I need to start the process of finding another shoe brand again.

Best walking shoes EVER!Bought these the week before going on a trip to Las Vegas and all I can say is, I am glad I did! It’s a lot of walking there, and I walked approximately 9- 10 miles while there and these Hokas were definitely a life saver! My feet never hurt, not one time! Got several compliments on them as well. These Hokas are functionality meets style!

Too hardI had a total knee replacement and was looking for the most cushioned shoe. But to me, these did not feel soft and they had no bounce. I find the Clifton to be much softer and have more bounce. I have friends who swear by the Bondi. But they just didn’t work for me.

What happened?I’ve been wearing Hoka Bondi religiously for years. Unfortunately, the Bondi 8 model was a disappointment. The redesign from the 7 was significant and shrunk the depth of the toe box. My toes went numb. Tried them for a few days. just to be sure. No improvement. Had to return.

The best walking/running shoes everThese are the best walking/running shoes I have ever worn. They fit my feet perfectly, I'm a size 9M.The second I put them on and stood upright, I couldn't believe the walking-on-clouds feel! Highly recommended.

Hoka 8Overall a great shoe. My favorite shoe on the market at the present time. Only gave four stars, still prefer the Bondi seven over the Bondi eight. The Bondi eight runs a little narrow, and I have to wear a wide width. Shoe feels like it causes me to pronates slightly while walking in essence, landing on my big toe first.

Great ShoeI was a Saucony runner for a long time because they always had a drop identified for their shoe, build quality, and didn’t cause any injuries. After complaining to a friend who just switched to Hoka from Saucony about a pair of Nike shoes, I decided to give these a chance. What a great shoe. I’ve used these to train for a 1/2 marathon and race and cannot be happier.

Hurts my kneeThese shoes seem much stiffer than other Bondi I have orders in the past. My knee hurts when I wear this shoe, and it doesn't when I wear my Machs. So, I’m disappointed in these shoes which in the past have always been a recover favorite. Especially for how expensive they are. Now I don’t know what shoe to get for a good recovery shoe:(

Not good for runningI bought two of these as initially they felt great…then the more I ran the more I started having problems with my toes getting numb…(I usually run 3/3.5 mls twice a week I’m 69 in good shape) first 1.5 ml ok then have to loosen up the laces…so the rest of the way my feet and feel tingling and numbness…this happens every time!, I believe the toe box is too tight on D model…$350 for a shoe that it’s good for walking or the gym…I had given up on Hokas after using them for 5 years, went on for two years with Saucony(Triumph 20+ others) but was looking for more cushion …now I ordered ASICS Gel Nimbus 25

Squeaky noisy shoeThe tongue of the shoe isn't placed evenly, it is over to the side so it makes the shoe uncomfortable. The shoes are so squeaky when I walk. For the money, I'm wondering if these are authentic Hoka's. I have had a few pairs throughout the years and never have had these issues-seem cheaply made. Very unhappy with my purchase.

Cloud 9I suffer from back problems. I needed a tennis show that would give me comfort on my feet and relieve my back pain at the same time. My doctor recommended Hokas. Arch BruisingI really wanted to like this shoe. The heel provided great support and the toe box accommodated my wide foot (in the wide size). However - the stiff arch support made the shoe impossible to wear. After spending about a week trying to break them in, I gave up and returned them. The arch of this shoe has a very hard piece that goes up the inner wall of the shoe. My foot actually became bruised after wearing them, taking several days to heal. My arch is rather unremarkable, so it was surprising to have such an issue. I switched to the Brooks Ghost with success.

Awesome!, good cushion! After using Sauconys for the last 3 years I’m back with Hokas which I’ve used Cliftons and Rincons before…but this time as I’m getting older(I’m 69) and more injuries I needed extra support everywhere and this fits great. A little narrow on the toe box but it stretched after a few runs. The extra wide bottom makes look a bit weird but helps with the stability. My last Sauconys Triumph 20 were very unstable, it felt you could twist your ankle anytime.

UnhappyI love the Hoka brand and shoes that I have received in the past, and this pair fits well and is a good shoe. The service delivery and overall quality of the shoe were good. However, I just started wearing the shoes about a month ago and only for non running or working activities. After only 8-9 wearings, the loop on the left shoe came out and is no longer functional.

Running warehouse saves the day...I'm disappointed with Hoka. I have bought many pairs of their shoes. With the new Bondies there is a delamination issue with the treads on the bottom. The fat treads begin to peel off after only a few miles walking. It has happened on three pairs consecutively. Fortunately, Running Warehouse took care of me! They corrected the problem. Great customer service! It's always nice to be connected with a person who listens to the issue and figures out a way to resolve it. I will continue shopping with running warehouse, but I will be careful which Hoka's I buy in the future.

Bondi 8Shortly after the purchase I started to get a sore food and ended up with plantar fascia. It seems as if the insole is harder and not as soft as the bondi 7 or the bondi x. Also the toe box is tighter on the sides. My base of my pinky toe bulges on the side of the shoe. I wear a d width and it’s obviously tighter in that area.

not as comfortable as shoes of the pastthere is something with the construction of these shoes that make them very uncomfortable. The last 3 pairs that i have purchased has made calluses on the ball of my right foot. Seems there is a honeycomb shaped bottom to the shoes and it constantly rubs against my foot causing severe pain. I am returning these for a credit and will search another brand. Whether I have ordered stability or neutral shoes, I have the same issue.

Hoka Bondi 8 WomensI received my Women's Hoka Bondi 8, Airy Blue/Sunlit Ocean in size 8.5B today. My feet thank Running Warehouse for quick delivery. Bondi 8 does not have same amount of cushioning as Bondi 7 but still very good. I walk miles everyday. The color is nice but might get dirty quicker due to light blue color. Good thing they are machine washable and air dry well. They shortened the laces too. I wear Power Step high arch insoles (flat feet) and always choose 1/2 size Up. Perfect fit. I leave Hoka insoles in to have snugger feel. If you Do Not wear any orthotics then choose your usual size. Lots of room in toe area. No heel slippage. Very comfortable. I also have supination (feet shift out) and these help stabilize feet. This is my second Bondi pair. I have Clifton 7 pair I will be replacing with Hoka Bondi 8 in all Black. Felt smaller than Bondi 7I own a pair of Bondi 7 shoes and wear them for walking, usually about two miles each day. They have served me well, especially since I have problems with both feet--4 surgeries and a break on the left and at least one more surgery on the right foot coming up. At first, I thought the Bondi 8 was fine, but after walking for a few hours, my toes began to hurt. I think the toe material on the Bondi 7 was softer than the Bondi 8, which may be an improvement in construction, but was uncomfortable for me. I do love the Hoka brand but will purchase them from a retailer for proper fit.

Gradually a great shoe got ruinedThe shoe is now too stiff for me. It's lost so much of its flexibility. The shoe is simply too stiff. The Hoka kas been headed in this direction for quite sometime. I can't wear this shoe any longer and needed to send back what was my pair # 34 of the Bondi. That was a whole lot of Bondi miles. Fortunately, for my needs, I was able to find two alternative brands for my workouts... and both choices work fine.

The Bondi 7, ruinedI'm on either my 7th or 8th pair of Hokas overall, and I love them. I'm on my third pair of Bondi 7s. I don't know why they widened the platform of this model to this extent. It's not as comfortable or maneuverable as the Bondi 7. Just too much extra rubber. What a shame.

At last, my feet don't hurt.I've had plantars fasciitis and sore feet forever and have tried many brands of footwear. All claim to be the optimal solution. Most offer some relief but over the course of the day, the pain creeps back. The Hoka Bondi 8 is the best shoe I've worn, by far. I use an over the counter orthotic insert (Powerstep). Combined with these kicks, my feet are as comfortable as they've been in years. I recommend these Hoka sneakers without reservation!

SurprisedI have been wearing New Balance for 15+ years and have been very satisfied. I use orthotics in my shoes so I have to be choosy on style. The staff at Running Warehouse suggested I try the Bondi 8 by Hoka. I was skeptical but decided to try them. I love the shoe and the foam padding is great. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone who, like me is a senior citizen and walks for exercise. Thank you Running Warehouse staff for your recommendation.

Love this shoeI've been wearing Hoka Bondi for years, for the cushion when I had plantar fasciitis. I am a walk/runner and a teacher so on my feet every day. These are the first pair I've purchased in a couple years, and so far they are awesome. I love the yellow/lavender-pink color. But, they are just as my old ones, put them on and wear all day and my feet felt great! Would I recommend? Absolutely! and I have. Lots of teachers in my building are also Hoka fans.

The shoes fit true to size and are very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these shoes. The only complaint I have is that I would like more color options for my size.

Major DisappointmentI have worn Hoka Bondi shoes exclusively for years and years. I buy them three pairs at a time each year. They have always served very well. I am so disappointed in this years shoe. It does not fit remotely like any of the past shoes. There is a new feature that holds the tongue in place that rubs on my foot, making it sore. The toe box seems longer and narrower in the size that I always order. Suggestions to size up to get a better width will not work for me. I will need to look elsewhere for a great shoe and we all now how much fun shoe shopping is.

Not the sameI have been a long time Hoka fan starting off with the Bondi 3 through the 7s. Not happy with the 8. They don't have the same fit as the previous models and although I would enjoy a little wider toe box, I think these are too wide. They are also $15.00 more than all the other Hoyas sold for which I do not appreciate. I can say I have worn several hundred pairs of Hokas. The soles wear out in just 5 weeks so I purchase new sneakers every 5-6 weeks because I am a dog walker. I am scrambling around trying to find more Hoka 7s.

Hoka Bondi 8Thanks for asking for feedback. I have worn Hoka Bondi shoes for years. I ordered a new pair earlier this year. For some reason, they are not as comfortable as they have been in the past. They 'feel' different. They feel different on the inside of the foot and on the outside of the foot. It is like they don't some up far enough or they 'rub' differently on both sides of the foot. I will keep wearing them because they are expensive. Hoping they start getting more comfortable.

Painful PostThis is more like a stability or even motion control shoe than a neutral. It has a prominent, rigid post that's incredibly painful and also interferes with normal gait, tilts foot rather than letting foot lie past. Awful, awful design!

takes getting used toThe first time I wore the HOKA Bondi 8 i felt clumsy because of the wide bottom. In fact with some steps I found myself hitting the other shoe. I guess I adjusted my gait and I am hitting less. Otherwise I find them very comfortable for my arthritic toes and feet bottom. The rocking motion makes walking easy. Walked all over Washington DC and did not have sore feet. Will probably buy them again. Love all the colors!!

Long-Time Bondi Fan Not Happy with New ModelI have been wearing Hoka Bondis since 2016 and have loved them, even with transitions from older to newer model. This is the first time, however, that I truly can say that I wish that Hoka had not changed the design of the Bondi 7. The toe box on the 8 is huge, not only making my feet look even bigger than they are, but providing too much space for my foot. I've begun to have back pain and tightness in my hamstrings and calves as well. Not the fault of Running Warehouse for sure, but I'll likely be looking for a new shoe.

Bondi 8 is a BIG ZEROFirst of all, the toe box is shorter in the Bondi 8 (lower, not as much room) compared to the Bondi 7. The toe box is also narrower. I am furious with Hoka for changing this shoe. Hoka changed the shoe strings, and made them shorter, and used cheaper shoe-string material (wouldn't have cost them more than 2 cents to make them longer, and given us the old shoe laces). These new shoe strings actually "catch" when you tighten the laces, and are not long enough to a "runner's lace" and this is the SILLIEST-designed shoe anyone's come up with. I supinate; in this ridiculous shoe my left foot is constantly fighting to find the outside of the shoe. I am 72 years old, and this is how I run/walk with NO knee pain. Thought I'd look at the Bondi Clifton, But I can't find the Heel-Toe Offset on any of the shoes. If there is too much of a difference in the Heel-Toe Offset I get knee pain. I hope you have better luck than I did with this shoe.

Happy feet!I have been running in the Hoka Bondi since version 4. With the Bondi 7, Hoka made the width a little narrower, which resulted in foot pain for me. (I have Morton's neuromas in both feet). I had read that the Bondi 8 was even narrower, which concerned me. After consulting with someone at both Running Warehouse and Hoka, I ordered the Bondi 8 in a wide width in my usual size 7. It has been a miracle for my feet. The shoe is very comfy and supportive, and I am now running with no pain. I can recommend these shoes, but with the caveat that if you have a foot issue like mine, moving to a wide width is the way to go. I do not have wide feet, so I'm not sure what a person with actual wide feet would experience with these shoes. In any case, they are working well for me.

Best Bondi yetOffering these in a 4E was the best decision Hoka has made in years! Now, if they make the Stinson ATR in a 4E, it would be the perfect combo for road and trail. These new Bondi's are light, supportive and have great cushioning. Nice fit and feel. Every detail from the tongue to the heel counter and the outside are crafted with care and detail. They have a very plush feel to them when you slip them on. The bottoms and outsole are very durable. I switched out my insoles for a more cushioned with arch support, other than that, perfect! Like I said, this is the best Bondi yet!

Better fit, but much firmerThe Bondi 8 boasts more foam and a higher stack that the Bondi 7, as well as a roomier toe box. The new shoe's wider toe helps reduce interference from the shoe's annoying sidewall. But despite claims of "more foam," the shoe provides a noticeably firmer ride than the Bondi 7. The fit is better, but the cushiony feel of the soles is gone.

Awesome Hoka Bondi 8's!I love this shoe! It is true to size and the cushioning and rocker ride-foot strike is improved. I love the thick cushion all around the heel cup and tongue also. I just run compared them to a new pair of Bondi 7's and after the 8 use was surprised how rigid and less-rocker the 7's felt esp. in cooler weather. Size 12's in both shoes fit the same so others' comments on sizing is puzzling - maybe their sole inserts or shoe size has changed a bit over time. I'm 5'10" / 130 in shoes/clothes soaking wet with a tailwind and have been running 20m+/week for a few decades. I wish the outer sole would hold up longer - that is the only change needed.

Sizing changed from Bondi 7 - too smallThis Bondi 8, 9.5 2E did not fit as well as the Bondi 7. The Bondi 8 is too narrow at the arch.
2 out of 5 Stars
The painful arch ruined this shoe for meI was really hopeful about the Bondi 8. When the shoes arrived I put them on. Within a few minutes of wearing them around the house it was apparent that the molded arch was too prominent for my low arch feet. The toe box was slightly too narrow. That's not a match. The molded midsole that forms the medial arch on the Bondi 8 was particularly uncomfortable for my right foot which is flatter than my left. The rise of the arch caused considerable pain in my right foot. It caused my foot to rotate laterally which pressed the outer toes into the narrow upper. My knee began to hurt after about 5 minutes of standing and walking. The arch was probably causing my tibia to rotate. This shoe had great potential but HOKA ruined it for some of us with the narrow arch. I use the Gaviota model from HOKA and the arch on that shoe is how it should be, out of sight and out of mind. The arch area on a shoe should not be conspicuous. It shouldn't be used as means to provide support. HOKA should have made the arch less interventionist and let those runners with rear foot issues customize the feet with orthotics or orthosis. That way the Bondi would accommodate a wider range of feet. I'm giving the two stars, one for the blown out midsole flares which make the shoe more stable, and another for the cushioned rocker shaped midsole. The rocker on the Bondi 8 is smooth and the cushion is well dialed in.

Hoka please fix your problemsMy coworkers and I loved these shoes as we are in our feet for 8 hrs of constant walking but I have never owned a shoe that ripped from the back and had the metal piece stick out and cut us. I tried reaching out and no one got back to me for the price of this shoe I was so disappointed and it happened to all of my coworkers shoes. The mesh is awful it also made a hole on two of my coworkers shoes. Most of my coworkers went for other brands which is too bad because the first two months they were amazing. The sad part is I have to buy another pair for work and I'm so hesitant to give my money for a poorly made shoe.

compare with 6 & 7 responsive in a bad wayThis is my 4th pair of Bondis and 9th pair of Hokas. I had the Bondi 6, two pairs of the 7, and was happy to get #8 but... I've put about 65 miles on this new pair and about 400 on the prior versions and I'm not very excited. First of all, this shoe is a lot wider than previous versions. I don't mind that as much b/c I've surrendered to the maximal look but it's also less cushioned. My previous versions (7 & 8) were SO cushy that I just couldn't stop talking about them to friends. I'm confident that I can run longer with less fatigue and saving my knees for as many years worth of running as I can get. These shoes seem more "responsive" in a bad way. I didn't want responsive, road feel. I want to bounce on clouds. If you want the most max cushioned shoes, you get Hokas and the Bondis are supposed to be the MAX in their road line. I'm a little disappointed. I overlap my shoes so I'm still running in my last pair of Bondi 8's and they still feel great after almost 400 miles. This pair feels less cushy after just 65 miles. I've been a Hoka fan for a long time now but I might consider looking elsewhere for my next pair :(

A lot of ShoeI'm a Hoka fan but this shoe covers too much ground. It's wide base cushions each step nicely but makes your foot look wide and clunky; it seemed heavy on my foot. I'll use the Bondi only for training. I'll go back to my Clifton's for races.

Excellent shoe with Amazing comfortBefore I mention the shoe I'd like to praise RunningWarehouse for their customer service. I purchased the Bondi 7, the previous generation, from RunningWarehouse. I ran in the shoes a handful of times, jumped rope a few times, and wore them to walk my kids to school for 1 mile each day a few times a week. The Bondi 7's tread started to come off after the first month. By the 90 day RunningWarehouse warranty period, I took pictures of the shoes and the hanging tread and sent them to RunningWarehouse. They refunded my original purchase without question. I shipped the shoes back and purchased the Bondi 8. These shoes continue the Bondi line with great support, extreme comfort, and an excellent feel. I cannot speak to the longevity of the shoe as the previous generation but I did own the Bondi 6 and wore them until they fell apart after 2 years. I have run in these shoes and they feel great. They feel as though they are propelling you forward as you run with excellent balance and heel support. I bought the original Bondi 6 to help with plantar fasciitis and will continue wearing the Bondis for their fantastic feel. I love the Bondi line as long as the tread stays on! I recommended these shoes to my wife and she loves running in them. With a great retailer and a great shoe, this is a match made for a runner's heaven!

Totally different from Bondi 7I am so disappointed in the Bondi 8!!! I have 3 pairs of the Bondi 7 and they are the best shoes I have ever owned! So when my size was no longer available in the 7, I ordered two pair of Bondi 8. As soon as I took them out of the box I was disappointed in the cheaper, thinner fabric, the inferior trims and overall aesthetics. They look and feel cheaply made. Not what I expected from Hoka. But the worst of all is that they don't feel anything like the 7's on your feet!!! Gone is the amazing "walking on a cloud" feel. That's what the Bondi line is known for! Now they just feel like so many other mediocre shoes. And they have more of a rolling feel when you walk. There is nothing the same, and I just don't understand why Hoka felt the Bondi line needed to be "redesigned"? If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Needless to say, I am returning both pairs and now need to search for something completely different. I am beyond disappointed!

Comfortable from the get go!Sore feet seemed to be my lot in life. Multiple appointments, X-rays, inserts, $$ spent on shoes and finally, a referral to podiatry. Hokas with a rocker sole and ultimate cushion were recommended. Success with the Bondi 8. Running warehouse was the perfect retailer to order from thanks to their shipping and return policies that allowed me to try multiple styles.

Great shoes, not for me unfortunatelyI came from the Bondi 7 and was very excited to get the first batch of the 8. I tend to run between 25 to 30 miles per week and currently training for my first marathon. Unfortunately, after a few miles, the insoles start digging into my arch. It's as if the insole does not sit as flat on the 8 as the 7. I returned the first pair and got another pair. I'm having the exact same issue with the second one and will be returning it as well. Overall, the materials are definitely nicer than the 7 and the shoes seem to breathe better. But the insole issue that might be specific to my feet mean they're no go. I'll stocking up on a bunch of Bondi7.

ComfortI have neuropothy and arthritis in my left foot which makes it swell. The Bondi's are the only shoe/sneakers I can wear that doesnt hurt my foot. Just bought my 2nd pair. I've tried other Hoka shoes, but foot so bad that that the Bondis are the only ones that work. They are super cushioned and supports your foot. They make walking alot easier. Love them. Please keep these in your stock always.

What happened? These shoes are cushioned. Initially they were incredibly comfortable, I love the other series and thought they'd be as comfortable as the 7 but more attractive. After a few days of running and walking in the am, I noticed by noon my entire legs and my back ached really bad, to the point I'd want to take ibuprofen. I don't run marathons a combined total of 6-8 miles of walk/running a day… and it got so bad I decided to try another pair of shoes…the only pair I have with tread are some flat basic $40 adidas…immediately I had relief. I like hoka but these missed the mark for my body. I got on to see if I ordered pronatia or subnatia but I didn't. I could not recommend these but initially they were good to run in it just hurts my body afterwards.

Great shoesThe HOKA Bondi 8's are one of the best shoes I own to date. I tried many other brands, and some priced slightly above the Hoka's. My reason for purchasing these shoes was due to my long days on my feet in different situations. Other shoes have fell short, but so far this shoe has been outstanding. Besides the comfort they provide, these shoes have gotten me more compliments than any other I have owned. They did feel a bit snug at first, but I usually wear a cushioned sock. These shoes were so comfortable, I purchase several other Bondi's.

Best shoe on the marketI've been wearing both the 7's and 8's. Not a lot of difference, but it seems like the 8's have a bit more support and stability. I've had every imaginable issue with my feet and have tried many different pairs of shoes. I wear 11 2E for my wide overweight feet. Haha! They fit like a dream and I can teach on my feet all day with these on. I'm a big guy 6'2" 240 pounds with super wide feet. Please don't bash these shoes because you are extremely overweight and can't fit in the 4E's. The 8's are great shoes.

Hoka 8 is the best everI wear wide shoes always since I turned 50, at age 58 I still do. The Bondi standard D width surprisingly allows my wide feet to feel comfortable and the toes to spread. Version 8 is the best Bondi ! The have a great upper, nice support and cushion in the heel and the half gusseted tongue really works well. The one thing most reviewers have not mentioned in the new laces which are flexible and secure. Really love this shoe ! Hoka is my brand after 40 years of wearing Asics, brooks, Nike, saucony, NB, Mizuno, Adidas, altra.

Hoka extra wide sizing is a joke!Hokas Bondi 8 mens 4E extra wide is suppose to be their widest shoe, pretty funny. It is not quite as wide in the forefoot as my Nikes, Skechers UR2s and Saucony trail shoes which are all normal D width shoes, not wide width. I had to return them to to Running Warehouse, they only place I buy my running gear. I will never waste their time and shipping again buying any more Hoka. Pretty pathetic after all these years they are still too narrow, bye bye Hoka.
