My favorite! New BalanceI love these 880s. My 2nd pair! These are stable, comfortable sneakers that I wear everyday! I am 53 with active kids and my lower back and leg pain have improved since I've changed to New Balance.
Good support and cushioning.Finally found a shoe my foot likes.
Narrow for 2EI've been running in 880's for 5 years and they've gotten narrower and narrower with version updates. Originally wore D width but as they go narrower with new models, I transitioned to 2E. Now with v13 the 2E feels like the D width I originally wore 4 versions ago.
NB 880Thus far very happy with this shoe, I specifically picked this shoe based on a recommendation from a friend and my doctor (he suggested I get a shoe with a bigger heel/toe drop to lessen the impact on my knees and back). So far I am very happy and have felt better after my runs (still only at about 2 miles, 3 times per week since my last knee surgery) but the results have been good.
Wish it was really GREY.I love the New Balance Fresh Foam 880 series. I have had them in white, black, gray, turquoise, light blue, you name it! I ordered these because they were described as GREY. But they are not even remotely grey, they are blue. I’m disappointed. But I have confidence they will perform as well as all the others.
Love these shoes!I absolutely love these shoes! I bought the narrow and couldn't be happier. First pair of New Balance and they are the best shoes I have ever had for support/comfort. Highly recommend this shoe.
Go to daily trainer31 yr old male, 50-60 miles per week. Great all-around shoe for me. Good support but not too bulky. Can pick up the pace if you want.
Too tightI’ve been a NB runner for a long time. These shoes were too tight and uncomfortable despite ordering in 2E
Good but little give back for meGood shoe. I’m getting older though and need more comfort and give back. Had to return them, but that’s me. Still a good running shoe for most people, most likely.
Shoes for my husbandMy husband needed new exercise shoes. He had this shoe in a much earlier model, so I was glad to see that the same shoe, in a more advanced model was available at Running Warehouse. He has a wide foot which was availible in his size as well. The shoe arrived and he was very happy with the fit and comfort of the shoe. I would return to your site for the next pair. Thank you!

v13 gets rid of the marshmallow solesI echo a prior reviewer's comments - thankfully this v13 more closely emulates the sole of prior version 11 and eliminates the marshmallow sole of version 12.
My favorite feature of this shoe is the wider toe box, so I was sad when the last version came out with an overly soft sole which made it unwearable for me.
It appears that they have created a 2-layer midsole that transitions right around the arch area and becoming a little more firm towards the toes. Just right in my opinion.
For those like me with a wider forefoot who need a wider toe box, the 2E width shoe fits better than any other shoe out there for me. I tried the 4E but it was just a little too wide in the mid foot as well as the toe box for me, but might be a good choice for those whose entire foot is wide.
My only minor quibble with the prior version 11 was that I could only get about 200 miles out of a pair before they lost their resiliency - I am hoping that this new version improves upon that but I do not have enough miles in them yet to know.
pretty pastel pinkI bought these because I wanted something "cute" to wear to the gym and they fit the bill perfectly. These are my first New Balance shoes and I'm impressed by the cushion these contain. They are ready to wear (no breaking in required). My go-to has always been Hoka One One or Asics Novablast because I am a fan of cushion and these did not disappoint. I'm not a runner but these are great for treadmill walking and eliptical training.
Closer to V11 which is goodThis shoe is a drastic improvement over V12 which was way too soft compared to V11. Glad New Balance reversed the bad decision on making the staple shoe too soft.
Not enough cushionNot enough cushioning.
FirmerAlthough the v13 midsole is visually identical to the v12 midsole, the foam is definitely firmer. If you thought v12 was too cushy, this is an improvement. If like me you thought v12 was perfect, it is disappointing.
