Great shoes! These shoes push you down the road. The tongue does move as others have pointed out, this is only flaw in the shoe.

Far out!Made me faster at 72 won second 5k. Keep running whatever you wear but these are fast. Changed laces came undone. Don’t tie too tight not lot of padding under tongue can limit blllod flow to foot. Expensive for me best racing, fun shoe of my life. Worth every penny. In the Sixties these would be far out!!! Have fun.

Super solidI’ve raced 5k on a golf course in these and run an 18 mi long run. I’ve done track workouts and road workouts and really appreciated how stable they are. They have handled everything from 3k pace and slower really well. I’m about to get my third pair. This is the first time I’ve had a pair of race ready shoes that have lasted this long.

Fast shoes but….Actually loved this shoe. I found the tongue, however to be inadequate. The strings bite down hard on top of my foot causing some discomfort especially on long runs. It prob works fine for other runners. It is plenty peppy and fast other wise. I keep race up to a 1/2 marathon. I ended up buying the Endorphine Speed 3. So much more comfortable that I’m going to use them for the Houston Marathon next weekend.

plastic-like fabricCushioned sole but tops of my feet became numb; adjusted shoe strings assuming 'break in' time needed, ran in them a couple of times only to feel like I was running in plastic cups. Developed plantar fasciitis symptoms. Returned sadly and have had to resign as a Saucony fan.

A bit roomyI absolutely LOVE the Shift and enjoyed the Pro at a demo run. It is light, snappy, and fast. It is a bit roomy/wide and took me a few runs to get used to. I have run in them at least 8 times with a 16 miler thrown in there. Feet felt great and legs felt good afterwards.

They are that good!!Got these to run California International Marathon. Race was awesome in part due to the great ride of the carbon plated Endorphin Pro!! Legs felt great and love the extra bounce.

Want to PRWore this shoe for Revel Big Bear. Very light, excellent cushion. No issues running downhill marathon. PR’d for Boston with a 15 min cushion (needed 3:35, came in 3:20!). Tried Saucony Speed, but didn’t feel good balance. The Pro has a great base for heel support. The Elite felt good too, but more pricey for my budget. PRO was best shoe for me. Saw many others wearing this shoe too. You will PR, guarantee.

SuperstarsLove these shoes! When I first laced them up I was concerned about that stack height because they felt a little unstable and a lot higher than 39mm. However, once I started running in them all my fears subsided. Shoes have a great (slightly snug) fit, great cushioning, and had no problems with stability. Helped me run a massive PR in my 1/2 marathon.

Finally found my favorite shoeI've gone through dozens of brands and hundreds of shoes... But this is my favorite of far. A bit expensive to use as a trainer, but I do. I also lace it up for race day. I have another brand new pair waiting in the box.

My Favorite Half Marathon Shoe of All timeI had a pair earlier in the year, ran two half marathons in them and they were amazing. Ordered a new pair, didn't do a single run in them, showed up to the start of a half marathon. Ran a great time, shoes felt great, no hot spots no blisters, just pure goodness. These are the gold standard in my opinion.

Fixed my PTT injury immediatley!I have ran over 100 miles in these already. I did a marathon even. I normally have severe arch and ankle pain running past 4 miles the last few years. Some days better then others. I have a flat left arch and it collapses when I run. Anyway switched to these shoes and immediately controlled my inner ankle from rolling in. I tested these against Adidas adios, alphafly, and my old vaporflys. I recorded my run on a treadmill. I also switched to a more controlling insole I got on Amazon. Anyway, the ankle and arch injury is now literally not an issue. I am glad I found these. Other pros, well constructed overall. I can see putting in over 350 miles in these. Cons, I find the tongue flimsy and the color choices bleh.

DisappointedTerribly disappointed. I tested this shoe multiple times and have data to suggest it’s 17 sec per mile slower than the average super shoe for a 6/mile person. It’s so soft that there is no response from it and the carbon fiber plate. What this shoe is is a long run easy day shoe. It’s not for racing.

Get the Speed 3s InsteadI've been using the Endorphin Speed 3 for workouts and long runs for the last year and really love them. I read a lot of great reviews of the Endorphin Pro 3, but I found the shoe to be disappointing. I tried it on two road workouts with pace work ranging from marathon to 5K and don't think it performs any better than the Speed 3. It also feels heavy for a racing shoe, and I found the upper and heel collar to be very uncomfortable. The laces dug into the top of my foot and the heel collar tore the skin on my achilles, which has never happened to me before with a running shoe. Overall, I think the Endorphin Speed 3 is a better shoe at a cheaper price, and if you're going to spend $200+ on a racing shoe, there are better options out there than the Endorphin Pro 3.

Great shoesI switched to these from the New Balance RC Elite V3. The ride is very similar but the NB had a weird lacing system that rubbed my foot. The Saucony shoes have the same pop and ride as the RC Elite V3 but without the drama. I'm a fan of the Saucony-ies for the marathon.

Not as good as Pro 2I’ve tried and tried to like this shoe for my speed work and races but it’s just not working for me. It’s for sure lite and well cushioned but I do not feel any bounce at all with the Pro 3. I’m using it for my long slow distance runs. It works great for that , but a lot of money to pay for a long distance training shoe. I like the Pro 2 much better for racing and speed work. I can feel the Bounce in it with every step. But I know us runners are all different and some people obviously love it , so that’s great.

Solid Shoe, But Not Without Some IssuesThis shoe is very light and feels as such on your feet. The upper is super breathable. However, the gusseting on the tongue is insufficient and the tongue has a tendency to slide down almost immediately. It bunches up slightly at the vamp and barely stays underneath the laces when knotted. The sole is reasonably cushioned, but not as much as some other “super shoes,” like the first Alphafly. The carbon plate doesn’t really engage until you pick up the pace, like sub 6:30, so many may not feel any mechanical benefit from this shoe. IMO, it forces you to toe-off too much. Also, the dye on my pair (pinkish quartz) has stained nearly all socks I’ve worn with them. I had some complaints with my Alphafly 2s, but going back, they seem a superior shoe compared to the Endorphin, at least for me.

NOT for meThis shoe just wasn’t for me. The left shoe after about 7 miles made my foot hurt, then the tongue kept sliding around after fast miles.(7:00 minute miles).I had looked around for a shoe that I wanted for a marathon shoe and had hoped it would be this one. I’m sure it’s great for others.

Really Good shoeI'd robably rate this a 4.5. The shoe is stable, something that I found lacking in the Nike version. The shoe doesn't seem to have as much "pop" as the Nike, but I found during my long runs and race it performed beautifully. I agree with prior posts, there is chafing on you heel the first time or two out. I didn't develop any blisters but I was a little raw. IMO this is a fantastic long run training shoe and those looking to get into a carbon plate you won't be disappointed.

Best all-around RacersThis is my second pair and given their versatility I’ll probably get a 3rd. This shoe is great for hard/long training efforts and of course races. Unlike the Vaporflys, it feels great at recovery and steady paces. . . And it’s one of the lightest options out there. Great responsive cushioning. Can’t go wrong.

Surprised me!I had the SEP 2's and wore them for a marathon a couple of years back and my feet were really unhappy. While those shoes have remained helpful for speedwork sessions, I didn't expect to like the SEP 3's. I trialed nearly every current carbon-plated shoe over the last few months and my first go of the SEP 3 I wasn't super impressed as some other shoes felt decidedly "faster". But as I narrowed down my choices and dismissed many shoes for wrong fit, I tried the SEP 3's again (because I just felt like I couldn't get away from everyone talking about how awesome they were) and was glad for it. My first run in them was an 18-mile training run and did a few shorter uptempo sessions in them before wearing them for a marathon and I was glad to get 30-40 miles in them as I think the "breaking in" period was really useful, as was the opportunity to get used to them. They don't "feel fast" in the same ways Alphaflys or MetaSpeeds do, but they have enough cushion to keep you comfortable and keep a spring in your step. I think they perform well for the marathon distance though if I were going for time in a shorter race (half, 10k), I'd probably opt for something a little snappier. (For reference, I am a short, muscular ~3:35 marathoner) Marathon went well and gave me a boost as I pushed faster in the last 5 miles. Happy to have these!

Boston BoundRan in the Vaporflys for two years and no doubt they really give you that pop when it comes to a quicker pace but it does come at a cost. I found my quads and calves would take a beating the last four miles of a marathon. Tried the Pro Three’s and still managed a PR without any pain and suffering! Great shoe offering much more comfort for those final miles of a long run. Hoping to have the same success this year at Boston!

Better Shoes in this CategoryReally wanted to like this shoe, but it totally didn't work for me. Way overrated for a shoe of this price and category. I have Vapor Flys and Alpha Flys, this shoe doesn't even come close in any performance category. Very stiff shoe. It has zero of the cushioning and energy return of the Nikes I own. It feels like a shoe you need to spend time breaking in. It also has a rougher material and tight shape in the heel cup that really grabbed my achilleas tendon that causing chaffing. I cut my test run short on these and sent them back. I knew no matter how much time I put in them I wouldn't like them. I'll spend the extra $25 and buy the new Vapor Flys when released.

Improved ride, difficult mid-foot lock downI am a 50+ mpw runner who has enjoyed multiple pairs of the last two iterations of the Pro and Speed, so I was super excited to finally get my feet into a pair of the Pro 3. I ordered my normal women's Endorphin size of 8.5. My first pair arrived with the glued sockliner in the right shoe out of center. This created a ridge under my arch at try-on and I couldn't move beyond it. I returned that pair and purchased a replacement pair. This time the sockliner was fine, but I had a heck of a time trying to get my mid-foot securely locked down. I definitely don't have a wide foot, but I have also never worn a 'narrow' in my life either. I do have a rather high arch and hence, high instep. The mid-foot of this shoe is just way too volumous so not only does the upper feel sloppy, but it also created movement at my heel. Even with the sloppy fit, the RIDE of this shoe... oh my goodness! Spring-filled pillows! I'm not really sure how Saucony did it, but they did! I liked the ride so much that I resorted to tricks that I don't normally like to do... kinesiotape on my heels to help reduce movement, creative lacing with a lace lock in an attempt to make the upper fit better. Having to do both of these is really just too much to do in order to get a good fit, but alas... my first 8 miles with some fartlek segments down into the low-mid 6's felt pretty amazing! So these are staying with me and will find their way to Boston in less than three weeks, but I sincerely hope that the mid-foot lockdown in the Pro 4 is much improved.

The shoes are fine but not worth the priceI got these shoes for my track workouts. I had to go with 1/2 size higher because the tow box was too narrow. The shoes are super light and good for fast days. The feel was too firm for me specially in long tempo runs. May be you should only try for short intervals.

Didn't Work OutUnfortunately, these didn't work out for me. They felt good underfoot but the heel caused hot spots and I didn't like the fit of the upper, especially the tongue. They also lacked the pop of the Next % but they did feel more stable.

Incredibly FASTI’ve trained and raced in prior generations of this shoe, but this new one takes it up a notch. Super light and comfortable. The shoe propels you forward on an upper mid foot push off that literally feels designed to make you fast. My tempo runs are already quicker paced. This is a keeper!

Great Soft Racing ShoeI find the Pro III to be an improvement for my uses over the Pro II. While the Pro II is a little “snappier” the Pro III brings the softness I need to consider racing these for a marathon. Very good shock absorption and that pays off in over all efficiency for longer events. As for how the shoe moves: when you get into the harder paces (for me sub 6 min/mi), I do find the toe off to be very good and the shoe doesn't waste my energy. Aka, I'm getting good return. It is very stable under foot while maybe being just a bit slippery in wet weather. Many shoes are though. It's also very breathable and lightweight! The tongue sits nicely on the top of my foot and I like the round “fat” laces. There is no lateral heel support in the heel counter (neutral shoe) but it does cup the heel nicely to hold it in place. There is adequate width in the toe box for average width feet and the mid foot is suitable for a range of arch types.

Superb Racing and Long Distance ShoeFor my long runs and marathon racing, I had historically used the Hoka Carbon X. With the recent changes to the sock upper in the X3, decided to test other shoes. I have now run close to 200 miles in the endorphin Pro 3 and they are incredible. These super shoes provide incredible cushion, bounce, light weight and spring you forward. I am much less tired from both pounding and effort after running in these shoes as compared to any others. I love these shoes and they have turned me into a Saucony runner. While the faster the better on these shoes, they really can be used for almost any type run on pavement. One other point that totally sold me on this shows as compared to Nikes and other super shows is how stable they are. Many other super shows are very unstable, wishy washy feeling in the back; these shoes are incredibly stable and give you considerable confidence not matter your running style. You will love them. Best shoe I have run in.

Not right for my feet. The shoes are very comfortable, seem very well made, but the heel strikes too hard, causing too much impact. The Nike vaporfly is less comfortable overall, but much less impact when running. This is may be due to my particular gait as much as the shoe.

FAST, comfortable shoe! After trying the Endorphin Speeds and loving them for a trainer, I decided to buy the Pro's and reserve them for long runs and race day. I have not raced in them yet, but have done a couple of long runs in them and they are wonderful. More forgiving cushion than the last brand of carbon plated shoes I have worn in the past. I found my regular running shoe size to be a bit too tight in the toe box and exchanged for 1/2 size up and they are perfect! Will be running Boston 2023 in them :)

Endorphin Pro 3 - New favorite racing shoeI've raced marathons and half marathons in the AlphaFly and VaporFly. Set my marathon PR in VaporFly at Chicago this year (3:01:11, 52 years old). I just ran a half marathon in the Endorphin Pro 3 in 1:23:33 and the shoe felt like a dream; more supportive and comfortable; and a much smoother ride than either Nike. As a bonus, Jared Ward ran and won the same half (Orlando Half Marathon) and we chatted about "his" shoe! Jared was very proud of it and happy that I was so happy with it. (eric_the_runner on IG).

Saucony Endo Pro 3...So Close!I currently use the Shift 3 as my daily trainer, do tempo work in the Speed 2 and have loved the Saucony Endorphin lineup for the last couple of years. With three marathons on my calendar for next year, I was really looking to use the Endo Pro 3 as my race shoe for 2023. I just gave the Pro 3's a go at a prep half-marathon over the weekend and while the ride was very good, the lockdown of the upper and fit of the tongue were definitely not. I found the tongue too short and very thin and the upper just didn't provide a secure lockdown, even with a perfectly gusseted tongue and the quality round laces that are provided. That being said, if you can get a sufficient lockdown, I would still recommend the shoe, as the ride is fantastic and the shoe very light and responsive.

Competing with the Big BoysThe Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 is so much better than version 2. This shoe has a very good pop to it and it has the same falling forward feeling as Vapor/Alpha Flys. I haven't used this one in a race yet; however, I expect it to do just about as good as Nike super shoes. The shoe has a wide enough tow box for me to be comfortable in and feels like a normal shoe. The only drawback that I see, it is very slippery when running on water. I would not use the shoes in a race where it is raining. Overall, great job Saucony.

Great Racing OptionAfter trying on the majority of the current racing options, I landed on the Endorphin Pro favoring it's slightly wider and more stable feel. The shoe feels very light underfoot and the speed-roll is noticeable especially at faster paces. The outer is very thin and leaves me a bit concerned about the shoes longevity, but as a racing option, I'm very happy with my purchase. My feet tend to be a bit wider and flatter than most and this shoe seems to fit well, it also runs true-to-size.

Best one yetI have ran in the Endorphine Pro since it came out and with every iteration there have been improvements. This third iteration is by far the best. The shoe is the lightest shoe I have ever ran in, including the Next %. The upper is a bit noisy at first until you get a few miles in them but once it quiets down this shoe will definitely be an asset for race day. I am able to increase my pace and cadence with little to no fatigue at all. There is enough cushion that my 210 pounds don't give me achy knees or ankles after a good tempo session. Not sure how they will hold up over time as I only have about 40 miles on them currently. I try to save them for speed work. They are a little spendy for a daily trainer. These shoes corner better than the EP2. The upper is a bit more flexible but still gives you a good heel lockdown. The tongue does get bunched to one side so you may have to fiddle with the lacing to prevent this from happening. Overall I am impressed with the shoe. It is quite an improvement over the EP2.

My new favourite super shoe!I have only run 30 miles so far in the Endorphin Pro 3, and already they are my new favourite super shoe, or shoe of any kind. Even on level roads, sidewalks and paved trails Alphafly at 172 miles, and Vaporfly Next%2 (70 miles) feel unstable side to side, in comparison, even with my graphite orthotics. The Pro 3 feels so much easier on speed runs and tempo runs than those 2 Nikes. By the way, I have not been able to get a pair of the Alphafly 2 yet, so I cannot include them in this discussion. Several online reviews previously found that the Pro 2 was harsh, and considered the Speed 1 and 2 the better, more versatile choice. I now prefer the Pro 3 over the Speed 3 for performance, comfort and protection from landing impact.

Nice improvementsI recently wore this for my 35 marathon and was very happy with how they felt. A noticeable improvement over the previous version. Three days after the marathon and I've had minimal leg soreness compared to previous races. While the shoes are rather tall, they do not feel unstable, even around corners. They fit my feet well and are very comfortable. A few minor complaints. I wish the tongue was a little thicker. Basically no padding from the laces. Speaking of the laces, they are a weird round shape that seem more like laces on hiking boots. I was worried they would come untied easily but no issues so far. Finally, there is so little actual rubber thickness on the outsole I can't see these shoes lasting very long. Overall, a great shoe. I highly recommend

Saucony Endorphin ProI had high hopes for this shoe as it has had so many good reviews, however it didn't work for me. I found that the high heel rubbed my Achilles area and aggressIve curve of the footbed put pressure on my metacarpals and made my lateral toes go numb (I've had this problem before with the endorphin line). The rocker was great and the shoe seems responsive but I couldn't get beyond the poor and uncomfortable footbed and heel. Too bad. NB rc elite v2 is a much for comfortable shoe and just as responsive. For background I have a narrow flexible flatfoot, weigh 115lbs and am a 3:13 marathoner and 1:29 half runner.

Awesome!!This is a great running shoe for the average person. I'm no elite runner but can appreciate a shoe that provides a responsive ride that rolls through the gait cycle like a car rolls through a car wash. Home run Saucony

FastNice shoe with cushioning. I've ran about 30 miles and the foam has started to deteriorate. I understand racing flats quint last as long as trainers but my endorphin pro 2 has stood the test of time with well knee 250-300 miles and they still have more mileage on them.

Pro 3 Is Now the GOATI've tried a LOT of shoes this year, including several super shoes and none of them have been great, to the point where I have yet to race in 2022 in a carbon plated racer. Then comes the Saucony Endorphine Pro 3. Right out of the box is it amazing. Feels snappy, feels light, feels super soft, feels great at all paces. Took them out for a fartlek for my first workout. At the slow parts, felt amazing, at the fast parts, felt amazing. I also need a stable shoe, which the previous 2 versions failed to be. This one is also very stable. LOVE IT. Great job Saucony, best racer on the market and cost considerable less than Nike.

Light and snappyI've enjoyed prior versions of both the Endorphin Pro's and Speed's. With 30 miles logged so far, the Endorphin Pro 3 has been fun to run in, though on my long run, I did develop a hot spot on my achilles. I will continue to use these -- with longer socks -- for uptempo runs and long runs, but for race day, I'll stick with Vaporfly's.

Good for 5-10 secs lift per mileRan 3x1 mile intervals this morning on a loop I've done this summer. These shoes propelled me 10 secs faster per mile with the same effort from the Endorphin Speed 2's I had been running in. Looking forward to running in the Endorphin Pro 3's in my upcoming half marathon! Nice soft responsive feel underfoot. Went true to size. These shoes fit my wide forefoot snug, but not constrictive. Not as much room in the toe box as my Speed 2's, which I prefer.

These are fast shoesI have run in the original Endorphin Pro and the Pro + and was lucky enough to get to try these at a 5K recently during a try on event. These feel faster than the earlier shoes. The upper snugs nicely on my narrow heels and the toe box is roomy enough for my wide-ish midfoot. The cushioning is next level. It is truly hard to run slowly in this shoe. You are propelled forward and just want to go fast. 5/5 Recommended
