Product Details:

Improving on a highly esteemed line, the Saucony Kinvara 14 maintains a legacy of being a highly versatile and lightweight shoe that can handle anything from daily runs to uptempo workouts.

Saucony added more PWRRUN foam into the midsole of the Kinvara 14, offering a softer underfoot experience with increased comfort for longer runs and daily miles. To keep the shoe feeling quick and nimble despite this added cushioning, the shoe features a new sockliner made of highly responsive PWRRUN+ foam. This premium sockliner provides a plush step in feel while also aiding in propulsion in each step.

In the outsole, strategically placed durable XT-900 rubber is added at key points for enhanced durability in high wear areas, and the incredibly lightweight engineered mesh upper has been streamlined for increased weight savings while retaining a highly breathable fit and a snug lockdown. In what may be the most versatile version yet, the Saucony Kinvara 14 is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a lightweight trainer that continues to surpass the benchmarks placed before it.

Good shoe with low heel-toe dropThis shoe is a great option when looking for a lower heel toe drop. I've put over 100 miles on them, and they're holding up great. I'm confident these would hold up for a marathon considering I ran one without issue in a previous version of the shoe with less cushioning. And wow, the color is phenomenal! That said... these are not the low stack height shoes I have come to expect from the Kinvaras, and I find it incredibly disappointing. It's not even that the Kinvara is steadily becoming a maximalist 4mm offset shoe, but rather there is no longer an option for something else. Like the Freedom ISO--now THAT was an incredible shoe! 15/19mm stack height, I put double the miles on them (500+) that I've put on any other shoe in my 20+ years of runnning!... And it was also cancelled, replaced by the "crosssport" that is a far cry from the running centric original shoe. But my disappointment in this trend is separate from the shoe, itself, which I would recommend to anyone looking for a 4mm offset road runner.

I'm back in with the KinvaraI'm from Texas and now living in Japan. I started running @ the age of 40. My first running shoe was the Kinvara 5 and I was in love with that shoe. Since then I have pretty much been disappointed with the different versions I have tried until now. I have not used every version since the 5 but the ones i have tried I didn't like. The Kinvara 14 has me back on the shoe and enjoying it again.

Drastic Change - In a Bad WayI've been running in the Kinvaras for the last 10 years. This is the worst update I have experienced. The stack height feels like it has DOUBLED and the toe box has narrowed. It's not even the same shoe anymore.

Not loving the heigher stack heightI have been running in the Kinvara since version K2, and every update except the K5 and K10. The K14 is a bit of a disappointment. The good: lightweight; nice balance between cushioning and responsiveness; good breathability for hot climates like here in Texas; still available in EE wide. The bad: less groundfeel and stability on trails due to the higher stack height; harder to keep a snug fit with the laces without pinching the top of your foot due to the thin tongue; after about 100 miles the outsole appears to be wearing much faster than other versions (usually I can get about 450+ miles); too narrow in the forefoot (I also run in the K13D and K13EE, and the K14EE is almost as narrow in the forefoot as the K13D).

Solid KinvaraI've been wearing the Kinvara since the 7 model and have only had a few I didn't like. While the styling has gone a bit from its minimalist roots with the oversized foam bottom on this shoe, the light weight and snappy feel makes it a solid entry to the name plate. I wear these primarily for training runs of short to medium length, but have used Kinvara in the past up to marathon distance. I'm exciting to see where this version takes me!

Feels Lived InThey felt broken in the moment I put them on. I easily ran 6 miles in them fresh out the box then later that week used them for a track workout. I prefer them for track and as backup on long runs. I brought the men's 8.5 and a women's 10. Both run bigger than I expected but that means I can wear my heavier socks with them without discomfit. As a go to Brooks Ghost shoe runner, these were a supportive neutral shoe with light cushioning.

An absolute charmKinvara series is one of the best light weight distance running shoes. This shoe gives enough cushioning while sustaining the rhythm and momentum. Highly recommend for any runner. Although have to be cautious if recovering from an injury.

switched from NBhad a pair of the Kinvara 11s but they were not my favorites. went to NB and after they discontinued the 2 lines I liked, the running store associate suggested the Kinvara 14, and now I am on my third pair!

Kinvara 14 reviewI wear the Kinvara 13 and it's a great fitting shoe with great cushioning for a lightweight trainer. The 14 however was too tight in the toe box and pinched my big toe joints, and the tongue is too thin to keep the laces from biting into the top of my foot. Sent them back.

Love my KinvaraI continue to "ride" the Kinvara train, and continually gratified and impressed with each new version. I especially love the added impact cushion while maintaining the weight ( I need all the help I can get. ha ha). great shoes... great price

Coming back to a great shoeI’ve worn many earlier versions on this shoe and liked it a lot. By maybe version 11 or 12 I felt they had went downhill and didn’t buy them for a bit. As they were on sale, I decided to try they again and am glad I did. They are once again a great shoe!

Good shoe, wish forefoot was widerGreat looking shoe. Comfortable. My only criticism, as someone with wider feet, is that the forefoot of the shoe is not as roomy as the Kinvara 13.

Good, lightweight shoeI ran in the Kinvara model a long time ago (probably the 2-4 versions) and thought I’d try the new version. They feel more cushioned than they used to, which is not a bad thing. Overall, a nice shoe. I’m a street shoe size 9, got these in a 9.5 and the fit is perfect.

Love the shoesI had been out of the Saucony game for a while. Glad I gave this shoe a try. It’s very comfortable even on long runs. It’s light and fast enough for speed work too. I’m sure I could use it for marathon distance if need to.

Love this evolution of the Kinvara! My background: 5"10/175 with a fairly neutral gait and some supination. 30-40 miles per week. Easy pace: 9:30-10:30. The previous two Kinvaras I've run in were version 6 and 12. V6 was so long ago that it's not even relevant to compare. The prior versions (12/13) had less stack and were slightly softer. If you have good mechanics and can handle a 4mm drop, this version is absolutely amazing. It is not overly firm or mushy, but stays stable and smooth regardless of the pace. It can handle strides , long runs, easy days, and everything in between. Shockingly light and with a great upper hold as well. It will not have the energy return of the super foams, but the stack is high enough to be protective while still allowing ground feel. I even took it in wet conditions and despite the lack of rubber, no slipping. I would only caution to stay away if you need more stability support (although quite stable), have weak calves, or otherwise need your shoes to bounce you through the run. The NB Rebel V3 or other models are probably better for you. If you do well with Saucony models, these are a great option. They will be an absolute steal when on sale next year. I think outside of the Endorphin line, they are Saucony's best model as of now.

The Kinvara 14 is not a winner.I experienced a crazy amount of fatigue in my lower legs after only jogging a few miles in these. I really wouldn’t recommend this shoe to anyone. Very disappointing and shocking that Saucony approved this “updated” model. I returned them. I’m looking at switching to HOKA now.

Started runningI bought the Saucony Kinvara 14 for my brother. He had started running to stay healthy. He has had other running shoes, but the Saucony Kinvara feels the best. Plenty of cushion.

Not for meI was looking to pick these up for track/speed workouts, but I knew as soon as I put them on that they weren't for me. I need arch support and these felt like there was none. My buddy picked them up and liked them, but they just didn't work for me. Thinking I'll try the Streakfly

Great shoe, but why the sparkles?I really like this shoe. In typical Kinvara fashion, it’s very light. The foam had a bit of stiffness to it that provided a good pop, though I personally like a squishier ride. It’s a little bit firmer than early versions of the Kinvara, but similar to recent ones. Overall a good ride. My real issue with the shoe is this color way. It looks fine in the photos, but what none of the photos or description tell you is that it actually has a shimmer to it as if it’s covered in some sparkly material. I felt uncomfortable wearing them in public, so I swapped them out for another color. I don’t know why it doesn’t show in any of the photos in any angle, or isn’t mentioned in the description of the color, but this is not just white, but instead has this sort of green to purple shimmer to it that is really blatant.

Love them!I originally bought these to just to add to my shoe rotation. They are very comfortable and versatile for any run fast or slow. I bought a 7 because that's what I wear in the Saucony Endorphin line but I think I could have gone a half size down. I have a wider forefoot but still have plenty of room for my toes. Great overall shoe!

Super light, a bit firm, beware of whiteThis is shockingly light and very comfortable on foot. It runs well and like a Kinvara but perhaps a little firmer than other recent versions. My biggest issue is the color. I got the white, and had no idea is shimmery, sparkly. It doesn’t show in the photos and isn’t mentioned in the listing, but it has this sort of greenish-to-purplish shiny finish that sparkles and is really obvious. I was not looking for something that looks like a glitter bomb went off on it. Definitely not what I expected or want.

My New FavoriteI've been a die hard On Cloud runner, but the recent changes have been awful. I've tried past Kinvara models and never liked them. I bought these on a whim because of the color scheme and am in LOVE. I now have three pairs and threw out my Ons. Saucony did a great job with this model and I hope they keep the changes!

Excellent shoeI really like the changes Saucony made to the Kinvara 14. It like it better than the Ride which feels somewhat clunky to me. The Kinvara 14 is reasonably soft and protective, lightweight, and feels great.

Could use more padding in the upperI mostly like these after 100+ miles, but the upper just feels like a plastic grocery bag with laces, miss the little extra padding in older versions (maybe the 7s?). Probably won't go back to these, but it's getting hard to find the right lightweight trainers.

Why change what was working?I use to wear the Kinvara years ago, then they revamped them and they didn’t fit the same. A few models later, they went back to what some of the originals felt like so I was a fan again. Now, they have switched up the design once again and these are just so off the mark. In order get a true feel, I went and ran outside multiple times so obviously can’t return them. I’m just disappointed that Saucony would do so many changes in lieu of just launching a different shoe.

Different and Maybe BetterI've used earlier iterations of this shoe for several years. The durability, weight, and feel that one gets for the low price is remarkable. While I have other running shoes, the Kivara 14 (and also a slightly older 13) are the pair that get used 90% of the time for my road runs. The 14s do have much less road-feel than the earlier models. When they arrived I thought that I might not like the change. But after a couple of runs in them, I think I like them even more than the previous models. They are lighter, and more cushioned, but still offer the same pop off of the asphalt that I loved with their predecessors. I would highly recommend these for people looking for lightweight trainers (possibly racers) who don't want to break the bank. To give you an example of just how much I like these, I also own a pair of Saucony Endorphin Pro super shoes (with the carbon plate). And yet, I choose the Kinvara (13 and 14) over them almost every time.

14 Has More Cush Than 13Initially, I was concerned at the more cushy feel of the 14. I’m not a fan of the cushy foam shoes that so many brands are pumping out. After a couple of short runs, I seemed to settle into the shoe and am content. The fit seems the same and I like the wide option for my foot type (wide and high arch).

Causes foot painI’ve worn Kinvaras for the last several years and sadly feel like the design has gone downhill. The tongue on this model is looser than past models, and since the shoe does not have a laces loop, the tongue ends up bunching off to the side. For me it has caused a lot of foot pain.

Nice Shoelight shoe, very breathable upper, tongue and eyelets do not dig into my mid foot ankle. Good road feel, slight mid foot rocker. Slightly higher mid/rear stack vs K12, has good road feel. Narrow fit, slightly longer than the Kinvara 12. Shoe softened up after 2-3 runs. Same upper with a slightly softer rubber would be nice and could compete with the NB Rebel 3.
