Great shoeAfter using this shoe for a year, I love the traction and how lightweight it is. I've used it in the past year for hiking, running on pavement, at work, and the design fits into all situations nicely. The sole is grippy and durable. The cushioning has since worn off, but I was able to add padding without issues.

These shoes have changed...As usual, Running Warehouse was amazing with delivery time!! Will always continue to buy shoes from Running Warehouse. I've probably been through 30+ pairs of Saucony Peregrines over the years. The Peregrine 12 had a totally different feel for me than the Peregrine 11. I bought the same size as before, but the 12's felt like they were a full size too large. The top of the shoe around the tongue is also totally different than it was before.

Road Shoe on the TrailThis shoe is a lot lest bulky..but no less supportive than the Peregrine 11. It feels like a toad racing shoe on the trail..

Grip kingThese by far have the best grip of all of the peregrine models. They are still the same footbed and comfort as the previous 3 models just with the added bonus of knowing you won't slip on that rock. Downsides are the new flat laces they come with are pretty stretchy and more than once have found myself needing to tighten my shoes mid run. It seems like this was happening around the 90-120 minute mark so not terrible but, can be annoying. Overall though, they are great shoes for hitting nice techy trails and would recommend highly.

Good Trail runner option!Fits like the other non trail Saucony runners. Lightweight. Good movement and support. Could use a little more cushion but good overall shoe. I like it!

So Far So GoodI am impressed with the heel cup on this shoe. It does not feel as if it is slipping and I still have plenty of room in the toe box.

My favorite trail shoesIve ran Mt Timp to the Ketchum, Idaho, back down to rolling hills in Texas and to CA in these bad boys. Ive had nothing but great results running in them. Fresh out the box I did 7miles the other day and it was great. These are my go-to trail marathon trainers avg 8:30pace through all of it.

Should have SG on the labelAfter putting several runs on these shoes, I have to agree that it is definitely a shoe that will beat you up over longer distances. The most I have been able to do was 8 miles with 4 of it being on softer trail surface with mud and water where I really felt a difference in the shoe. Groomed hard packed trail, I could tell a big difference in comfort. I also think if you're in the 150-175lb range, it might work for you over longer distances. If I had to put this shoe in a classification, I would say it's a good 10K race day shoe. The outsole is what I want in a trail shoe with how well it grips and sheds rocks/mud, but the cushion and comfort definitely need to come up some for this to be a 10+ mile shoe.

Freezes upTo echo what Chris wrote below, even though it is June, this shoe is NOT a viable cold weather option. I am trying to plan ahead and reading reviews thinking winter 2023. A ton of sites are rating this as a good winter shoe and it is not. Midsole stiffened fast on a mild 20s Vermont winter day with couple inches of snow. Run cut short after 2 miles and I limped home. Stick with Boost if you can. Shoe is ok in warmer temps but not great. Really question if these other sites even run.

Previous Feedback

Comments: I have completed several runs with the Peregrine 12s and am very pleased with this shoe. Lightweight, good medial support, and great traction in the snow up here in Maine. Looking forward to trying it out on the trails in warmer weather. I would recommend this shoe.

Comments: Great shoes but the upper blew out well before 250 miles. The weight savings can be at the expense of durability. Love the traction and midsole which could've gone a few more hundred miles.
