Always ReliableI have been wearing the ASICS GT 2000 series running shoes for twenty years. I continue to wear them because the shoe is stable but flexible and feels light but provides plenty of support and cushioning. The lacing system allows me to obtain a snug feel that’s not too tight. I only wish the best colors didn’t sell out so quickly!

A shoe most people should have!Purchased the GT 2000 13 after some raving reviews on a few reputable YouTube channels. As a flat footer, mostly neutral gait, I really appreciate a supported midfoot but oftentimes find stability shoes too intrusive in that area, too heavy overall, or just plain boring. This shoe, and likely the entire line of GT 2000’s, as this is the 13th iteration, really is the opposite of all that. Peppy, well cushioned, supportive without being too much, and highly durable! Highly recommend to everyone, not just those with pronation issues!

Asics GT 2000 V13 is too inflexibleI recently purchased Asics GT 2000 V13 shoes. They fit my feet and I like the flat heel unlike most stable running shoes that shave off the outside edge of the heels. But even after several runs, the shoes are stiff and inflexible. As a result, the back of my calves and hamstrings are tighter than usual due to the strain on my legs in bending the shoes to roll off of the front of the shoes. I don't recommend these shoes.

These are not even the same shoeI have been a loyal Asics wearer for YEARS. I have worn them since the version 1 and I wore the 2100 series before that. I have mixed others into the rotation on occasion, but I have always come back. The version 10 was the first iteration I couldn't wear. I have tried every model hoping the newest would bring back what I loved about the shoe, but it seems it got worse with each new model. The 13 is not even close to the Gt 2000 I fell in love with. The structure is different, the foam is different, the heel drop is different, ...I mean what did you KEEP? The positive is I think I burn twice as many calories since I feel like I am running in two buckets of concrete. It is so frustrating. This shoe evidently works for some since it does get good reviews, but why completely change a flagship shoe? So my search continues...

This shoes was perfectI love these shoes! I was pleasantly surprised by how great they are. I took a chance on them and have no regrets whatsoever. I'm typically a fan of the 880 model, but these shoes exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Comfy Classic looking running shoes!!I recently started running and been shopping around for some new shoes. I have a very troublesome feet because I do have a super flat feet with bunions, therefore is very hard for me to find a good pair of shoes. I bought a few pairs to try including the Hoka Skyflow, Saucony and Glide 17 and wanted to try these GT 2000 because of the classic look which can also go wells with my daily outfits especially when traveling and not wanting to bring too many shoes.
I usually a size 11.5 but half the time I need to get size 12 for my wide feet. So for this I chose 11.5 wide for these to try. When i receive them at first, they don't look that much wider than the regular and was thinking might need to return them. However they actually fit my orthotics, but it had some pressure on top of my feet when i put them on. After adjusting the laces, then there became better. They wrap around and hold my foot well and they are very comfortable walking around. The firmness are just enough, the Kayano was a little bit too soft for me but these are little bit firmer. These probably my current favor everyday walking /running shoe.
