- Low: Low-cut socks go no higher than the middle of the anklebone. No-show socks, which do not go higher than the top of your shoes, are also in this category.
- Quarter: Quarter socks are higher than low-cut socks and usually cover the anklebone entirely. This provides a feeling of stability in the ankle, and alleviates most blistering that could be caused when low-cut socks creep down and expose the skin on the back of the heel.

Can't get enoughI got my wife some of these a year ago because I am a big fan, she has loved them so much she is constantly asking for more. They've become her daily wear too.

Great sock, though not thick as ratedI've had a few pairs of these socks for several years and they have worn very well with the expected pilling.
Note: IMHO they are on the thin side. In comparison, Thorlo is a thick sock.

Comments: These socks are amazing. They are extremely soft, and the added padding on the bottom of the foot is really helpful in providing extra cushioning. The upper portion of the sock is extremely breathable. Over all this is a very lightweight sock, that wicks moisture very well and is great for athletics or everyday wear. I wear them every day.
