Not good qualityI was really surprised by the poor quality of these shorts. I have not worn them very much, and the stitching is already coming out in several places. The Brooks logo is also already peeling off, which is fine, but just looks bad. They also ride up on my thighs much worse than other shorts I have.

The best running tightsI love these and own four pairs of the various Brooks 5” tights. They do not roll up with running, are flattering, can store your phone in the back waistband and gels in the side pocket. I use them during my hot summer training runs and ran a marathon in a pair last fall.

Fits well and high quality but seams chafeThese shorts fit well and stay secure on very long runs. The material is thick and high quality. However, there are many very thick seams, and after a few miles they start to chafe.
I wore these shorts for a marathon because they stay in place, don't sag, and are sturdy enough to carry many gels in the pockets. However, I was seriously chafed all over despite using vaseline and body glide.

wanted to love, but chafingI really wanted to love these, and do in almost every way! The fabric is thin enough to be comfortable in the heat, but also squat proof, they are long enough to work with my thick thighs, they stay put, and they have pockets! My only issue is the seam along the butt irritated and chafed my skin. I have not had that problem with other compression running shorts. I do plan on using these as bike shorts because they are great otherwise. I'm a 5'3" female, 128 pounds and a medium fit perfectly.

Good shortsI usually wear a small. These fit on the snug side but still very good. They do ride up a bit when I run but not terribly bad. I like the pocket inside the back to put my phone in. The side pockets can hold my car key and a gel. Was told my butt looks good in them, so that’s always a plus!

Great shorts, run smallI love these shorts - love all the pockets, love the feel of the fabric. I don't have a problem with them riding up. I do order a medium in these, they have the same size waistband as a small in the chaser short.

Great shorts, run smallI love these shorts, I have multiple pairs. They don't ride up on me, but I have seen others report that they do for them. I wear a small in Brooks chaser shorts and a medium in Brooks Method shorts, I wear a medium in these. The fabric is softer than the Method shorts, more brushed, but thick and secure. Love the side pockets and the phone pocket on the back of the waist. All pockets feel very secure.
I'm 5ft7in, 140 lb, usually a size small or medium
