nice overallnice hate overall. comfortable curve on bill. My head requires it to be worn and a 'jaunty' forward angle to avoid interfacing with the tops of my ears. jaunty angle makes me feel like a state trooper.

Expensive HatI do Journey runs across multiply states every year. I always use cheap hats because they get roughed up. This hat stands up to the test and was worth every penny! It is easy to wash on the go, keeps sun off neck without being to hot and adjustable strap fits my tiny head without me adjusting every time a big truck drives by! Bonus that it is lightweight and packs into a sandwich bag!

Dorky hat delivers the goodsI'm a pale man living in the American southwest, and in trying to be active I have become a connoisseur of dorky hats that actually provide good sun protection. The PYN is my new favorite. The neck cape us a couple plastic snaps that attach it to the hat brim, pretty slick. The material on the top is VERY thin breathable mesh which is great for sweat management and offers a little excitement in that it seems like it could have also been in ladies' underwear.
The visor is big enough and also flexible, so this is a very packable hat. And the neck cape material is very lightweight. Compare w/the Sunday Afternoons Solar Curtain which is heavier and loud and crinkly right next to your ears.
I went with the white one so I can pretend I got it at the US Open or something.
