Four Months InI've been using this watch since the beginning of January 2025 and it is now May 2nd. It is clearly built for runners. I use the POD clipped to my shoe and armband heart rate monitor. I'm an average runner who runs about 60% on road and 40% on trail. I find this very easy to use with a bright screen and pretty amazing battery life. It seems to handle 100 degree days just fine but it is only May so I won't be able to say a lot about heat performance until later this year. In southern Arizona, we always need to consider how things perform in the heat. I have run hundreds of miles with this watch and with my Garmin InReach in my bag (for satellite communication when I'm away from cell service). I found the Garmin accurate for years and I'm glad that these two devices agree with each other almost perfectly. They may be off a couple hundredths of a mile after a 20+ mile run. I purchased the nylon band which I highly recommend if you're a sweaty mess like myself. It washes easily and is very comfortable. I've heard people say it looks plastic-y or cheap but I'm not wearing this for fashion. I think it looks pretty cool (I got the blue one). I should say that during workouts and weight lifting, it isn't very good at counting your sets that do not require arm movement, such as leg extensions. I don't know how it could so I've gotten into the habit of moving my arm as I extend my legs so it "counts" properly. It's not a big deal, but worth mentioning. The training tools on the website are excellent. The phone app seems to be pretty good as is the mapping. I still prefer my InReach for mapping way out in the wilderness but that's just a habit. Both perform fine. At this price point, compared to Garmin, this is an easy decision. Solid technology, great functions, great use.
