- Low: Low-cut socks go no higher than the middle of the anklebone. No-show socks, which do not go higher than the top of your shoes, are also in this category.
- Quarter: Quarter socks are higher than low-cut socks and usually cover the anklebone entirely. This provides a feeling of stability in the ankle, and alleviates most blistering that could be caused when low-cut socks creep down and expose the skin on the back of the heel.

Perfect fitI first received a pair of these socks in a swag bag at the 2018 Telluride Mountain Run. These are now the only socks I buy. Snug fit without being too tight, breathable and tough. Shipped fast.

Drymax Dry - the only one!I was fortunate enough to be gifted a pair of these socks years ago for one of my Ultra's and have never looked back.
Running through streams and rivers are no issue for these, they shed the water superbly and even in my longest races have never given me any discomfort or blisters.
They last forever and have excellent wear quality.
Didn't lastThese socks were very nice and soft, but the toe blew out.

Out of the box, into 100Ran a 100 mile trail race with stream crossings and technical, rooty, rocky terrain two weeks after purchase. The socks performed flawlessly, no blisters or issues with my feet. Highly recommend Drymax and the Speedgoat Lite model to the trail and ultra world.
