Previous Feedback
Comments: I can tolerate most flavors of GU. Strawberry banana is the only flavor I dislike. That was until I tried fresh toast flavor! Definitely not what I expected. I did expect a maple syrup but this tasted more like a cheap pancake syrup flavor and nothing more. I guess their French toast recipes do not include any other hints of flavor such as cinnamon or nutmeg or even vanilla. I usually do not have any GI issues with GU, but after this one I became nauseated and had stomach cramps. I suggest trying one pack before buying in bulk.

Comments: These have always worked really well for me for longer runs and triathlons-I'm one of those who can't handle much on my stomach during training and racing and these have rarely-never given me any GI issues. I will say than in the summer I will supplement with some salt-stick tablets every hour for longer events, due to being a very salty sweater and living in the most humid part of the country! Would be curious to try the Roctane gel...a bit more expensive though!

Comments: I've been using GU for marathons and long training runs for years. When feeling bottomed-out after miles of running, it gives me the pick-me-up that I need to keep moving. Little to no GI issues for me with this product.

Comments: Very nice product. I have used for years as a competitive cyclist and now runner. No GI problems. Currently training for full marathon and use GU brand exclusively during my Sunday long runs. GU is high quality fuel that does not bother your GI.
