Previous Feedback
Comments: Absolutely garbage and over priced. I bought a pair of them and they only lasted a few months. They fall apart to easy! They need to go back to the old version where the toe piece was made out of rubber not cheap cloth. And this was my second pair I should have learned the first time. However my first pair the ones that are all rubber which I bought in 2018 are still together.

Comments: Great sandal for recovery, I use Hoka's Trail running shoes for playing in Senior Softball tournaments. And the flip comes in super handy after the last game of the day during an all weekend event. I'm a big guy, 6-1 260 size 13 shoes. This flip is like walking on a cotton filled pillow. Enjoy everyone.

Comments: These sandals are supremely comfortable. Feels like walking around in my Hoka Bondi runners. I wear them after runs and in the morning when my ankles are stiff. They make it easy to walk even when I'm sore which totally changed the game for me. As others have said, they run REALLY large. I wear 10.5 wide in Bondi and Clifton so I ordered a 10 in the Ora (no half sizes). It's really big. I will probably order a size 9 next time.

Comments: I recently received 3 pairs of shoes as a gift. And the shoes give me the greatest arch support that I have ever felt. I am so happy to the proud owner of these shoes. Thanks so much.
From: Lawrence. July 1 2021
Comments:These are the most comfortable flip-flop sandals I have ever worn. I was skeptical of the term "recovery" sandals but they are exactly that. These flip-flop sandals help heal my sore feet and are a joy to wear.
From: Rob. Burbank, CA. July 1st 2021
Comments: Amazing!!!! I have super flat feet and am a high mileage off trail backpacker--my feet take a literal ass whipping everyday...I wish I'd had these flips years ago...I love them so much I bought 4 pairs right after wearing my first pair for an hour!!! Highly recommend to EVERYONE!
From: Jen. Grand Canyon. June 5th 2021
Comments: The flip seems very well made but the high drop (height of the sandal) is just too high for my taste. I like my sandals to be as close to the ground as possible, these are very high and some may like that but consider it first before buying.
From: B. Miami. June 3rd 2021
Comments:No matter what shoe you run in, this is a must-have for post-run recovery. Optimally cushioned and provides precise contours to cradle the feet.
From: SK. Los Angeles, CA. April 6th 2021
Comments: Well kind of being pricey, they are very comfortable, probably the best sandals I've ever worn!
From: Anonymous. February 27th 2021
Comments: Very comfortable. Remember they run slightly big and to order a 1/2 size down. Only problem I had was they hurt my right big toe. Something was strangely rubbing my toe. It went away after a couple of times of wearing the sandals. Now they are perfect. Whatever the issue was it went away.
From: Rambo, Mississippi. February 4th 2021
Comments: The newer ones don't fit as well as The older ones I had. The thongs are too loose.. unless of course you have a very fat feet. Have to wear thick socks or they are useless.
From: Brooks Fremont CA. January 26th 2021
Comments: The slippers run 2 sizes too big and are still to big and unstable. I wear a 9.5 dress shoe, 10.5 running shoe, and a 9 slipper in just about all brands. I could have worn an 8 in this slipper.
Secondly, the front drop is as dramatic as my Vaporfly Next %, so the scissorred version mean the center part digs very hard into my toe bridge. At $50 I was just immensely disappointed and gifted them to my 75 year old father who normally runs in a size 11 shoe.

Comments: These flips are good. I've got plantar fasciitis and its a big help.
I've owned these as both slides and flips. The slide versions of these shoes are much much better. The thongs are not well implemented. They broke between my toes after just a few months of occasional wear. Also, the strap that goes between your toes cuts into the top of your foot.
The slides are perfect. I strongly suggest you get those instead. Plus you can wear them with socks. ha

Comments: My wife and I each have these sandals and love them. I think they have plenty of cushion and are extremely
comfortable.
From: Todd Scottsdale. August 15th 2020
Comments: They were great but only lasted about five times of wearing them and the right sandal came apart.
From: Anonymous. August 6th 2020
Comments: These are the best flip flops ever!
The first pair actually came apart after two weeks but the running warehouse return policy was so easy.
The replacement pair came directly to my house and other than UPS being a few days late everything else was first class
Thanks

Comments:These feel amazing. So comfortable.
From: Anonymous. July 23rd 2020
Comments:I had to go to the flip style over the slide style. They were better fit for my wide foot. I am getting use to them. Excellent job with the customer service department.
From: Mike, Clarence, New York. June 23rd 2020
Comments: Hated them. I LOVE Bondi's and though these would be Bondi's just in a flip-flop style. Nope. Where's the marshmallow cush? These are supposed to be recovery footwear.
Sent them back and bought Oofos. Now those are what these should be.
From: Tim Fairfield. March 31st 2020
Comments: These are good sandals. Great if you prefer "thong" type flip flops. My main complaint comes from the fact that I bought these and not the "slide" style. The webbing that goes between your toes has some rough edges. It caused some chaffing to the area between my toes until I used a very sharp knife to rub away the edge.
Other than that, they are just what you'd expect. Soft, cushy, supportive and easy to slip on. They are just what I needed to deal with my plantar fasciitis since my PT and doc said "no bare feet".
I do wish I'd gotten the slides. I think they would be more comfortable. It would also allow me to wear them with socks (inside only, not out in public!! ha)
Re sizing, I am a size 10 in size wide hoka shoes and a 10.5 in standard widths and the sandals in size 10 fit about right. I have wide feet and was considering going to the 11 for greater width. But the 10s are good.
From: Don, Connecticut. October 30th 2019
Comments: Once you get used to them, they are really nice. I'm usually in Ola Kai flips, and these are nothing like those. Probably closer to my wife's italian elevated flips. However, I really like them. Like other Hokas, plenty of cushion.
One issue is I wish the straps were just a tad tighter to more support.
I went down 1/2 size and they fit fine.
From: Larry, San Jose. October 14th 2019
Comments: Super comfortable sandals to be all day and to recover.
From: Anonymous. September 20th 2019
Comments: I was not a fan of the flip style, but your customer service made it incredibly easy to exchange them for the Hoka slide, which I love.
Keep up the good work!
From: Anonymous. August 9th 2019
Comments: The MOST comfortable flip flop I have ever owned. I have plantar fasciitis and there is absolutely NO heal pain because these shoes are like waking on clouds. This is my 4th pair..one in each color. I wished they came in a dressy style so I could wear to work.
From: Shannon, Van Buren AR. August 5th 2019
Comments: Great recovery flip. Used after 100 mile race. Super comfortable and supportive.
From: Mike, Campbell Hall, NY. July 31st 2019
Comments: I've had these about a month to help with plantar fasciitis. I've been wearing these instead of going barefoot when I'm inside. They have been very comfortable for me and have definitely helped me recover. Great product.
From: Anonymous. July 17th 2019
Comments: Great product for post runs or just casual wear. These are super comfortable and the cushion has been awesome to wear after any type of run. I got a size 10 which is what I wear and they fit a bit wide due to my narrow feet. But I would not go up or down in sizes. Awesome product, good job Hoka!
From: Anonymous. July 15th 2019
Comments: comfortable flips BUT the thong strap is too sharp and ripped deep cuts on my feet between the first and second toes. Had to tape pads on the straps and this causes them to be uncomfortable between toes but better than slicing up the skin.
From: Jim. July 11th 2019
Comments: Relieves any fatigue my feet may have. Comfortable flip flop.
From: Anonymous. July 7th 2019
Comments: I am a military man and used to run in mediocre shoes. I also fish a lot and needed a flop/ sandal with more fusion. After discovering Hoka 7 years ago, I am now on my 31st pair and I have traded in all other flops for their recovery flop. I absolutely love their product line and will likely be a Hoka man for life!
Great support for after runs as well as long days guiding on a fishing charter!
Love the new style!
From: Army Fisherman, Huntsville, AL. July 1st 2019
Comments: I run trail ultras, and normally after a race, my feet are very sore. I purchased these because they looked like a nice 'treat' for my feet after a race. I have owned these for about a month or so, and have run two ultras, and have found these to be great to slip on after a race. They are comfortable and easy to wear. I have not run in them. They are nice to put on as 'casual wear' even if I have not run a race. I would wear no shoes if I could, and this is about as close as I can come to that. So far so good!
From: Ondrej, Mequon, WI. June 20, 2019
Comments: Most comfortable flip flops I have ever owned. I'm usually a size 10.5 but a 10 in these fit great! Highly recommended.
From: Anonymous. May 9th 2019
Comments: The bottom of the shoe fit fine, but the rubber strap was pretty uncomfortable between my toes.
From: Sean, Orlando, Florida. May 9th 2019
Comments: A little stiff with the first time putting them on by the 2nd or 3rd day they felt like a Bondi. very comfortable.
From: Leo. April 5th 2019
Comments: Most comfortable flip flops I have ever purchased. I wear a size 10 in the Clifton and Nepalis both snug in the forefoot and these flip flops fit me great in size 10.
