Great carb supplementThis pack was entirely consumed during a 50K. I never lacked any energy or felt fatigued during the race. It was 19F, so I’m not sure how it would have done mixed or consumed in conjunction with an electrolyte drink. I’d definitely take again, but would test a bit more to make sure I didn’t get any stomach duress with the combo.

Expensive, but excellentMaurten sport drink and gels are just the most smooth you get for the stomach in long races. It is scientifically tested and their unique hydrogel formula seems to do the job. It is a reason why most elite marathon runners use it. The taste is nothing special - almost neutral.
