All Women's Road Shoes

  • Daily TrainersDaily Trainers

As the broad base of the running shoe pyramid, daily trainers are the definition of a go-to running shoe. They prioritize dependable comfort, support, durability, and routine versatility. They're a staple in every runner's closet. If you're newer to running shoes, you can confidently start your journey here.

  • Performance TrainersPerformance Trainers

Performance trainers (or "super trainers") blend elements of daily trainers and super shoes, often giving you the benefits of advanced foams and plates, but adapted for daily training. They make fast runs faster and long runs easier. Highly versatile, many are also great choices as accessible racing shoes.

  • Super ShoesSuper Shoes

The pinnacle of the pyramid, super shoes are the fastest running shoes you can buy. They're designed to race your absolute best and are the apex of running shoe technology and innovation. Often built with carbon fiber plates and cutting edge superfoams for the highest energy return, they're made for ultimate racing speed.

Women's Running Shoes by Surface

  • Roads & PavementRoads & Pavement

Road running shoes feature smooth outsoles that are designed for running on paved surfaces such as roads, sidewalks, and bike paths.

  • Smooth Trails & FireroadsSmooth Trails & Fireroads

Designed to handle most trail runs, these shoes prioritize comfort and a smooth ride. These shoes are great for anything from smooth singletrack, park trails, and fireroads making them ideal for those who run from their doorstep on streets before hitting the trail.

  • Rocky & Technical TrailsRocky & Technical Trails

These shoes are best used for hard, rugged trails such as shale, granite or sandstone where grip on smooth surfaces and underfoot protection are important.

  • Soft & Muddy TrailsSoft & Muddy Trails

Designed for use in muddy, soggy conditions, these shoes feature very aggressive outsoles that dig deep into soft ground for exceptional traction.

  • Snowy & Icy TrailsSnowy & Icy Trails

These shoes feature technical outsoles designed to grip snowy and icy trails making them ideal for winter trail running.

Cushioning Level

  • Cushioning level, or stack height, refers to how much shoe is between your foot and the ground. For this category, we reference the amount of cushioning below the forefoot as the heel height will be equal to or greater than the forefoot height.

Learn more about stack heights and how we measure them.

  • Barefoot

0-13mm. The Shoe generally does not have a midsole and feels like there is no cushioning. This shoe is all about feeling the ground underfoot.

  • Minimal

14-18mm. The shoe has a thin midsole that allows for a natural running experience. Racing shoes and minimalist shoes are common here. These shoes offer a feeling of being connected to the road or trail.

  • Low

19-23mm. The shoe has a slightly cushioned feel and may feature added cushioning technologies. Performance training shoes and some trail shoes are common here. These offer protection during footstrike but prioritize a lightweight, grounded experience.

  • Medium

24-28mm. These shoes have a stack height that fall near the middle of the spectrum. The shoes in this category are verstaile and great for all types of runs and distances.

  • High

29-34mm. The shoe has a thick midsole and ample cushioning. These shoes are highly protective and absorb more impact than the body.

  • Maximal

35mm plus. The shoe has an extremely thick midsole and extra cushioning. The focus is on protection and soft foam underfoot with hardly any ground feel.

Stability Level

  • Neutral Running Shoes

Neutral shoes support the foot through a normal range of arch collapse and generally do not have built-in technology to correct movement.

  • Stability Running Shoes

Stability shoes are a great option for those who overpronate or need added support. These shoes help to limit the inward rolling motion of the ankle while running or walking and assist in guiding the foot straight through the gait cycle.

How We Measure Our Shoe Specs

  • We measure every shoe in-house to provide accurate and consistent details.

  • Weight

The weight is based on a Men's size 9 for Men's and Unisex shoes or Women's size 8 for Women's shoes. The weight listed is for a single shoe, including the laces.

  • Heel Stack

The heel stack refers to how high your heel sits above the ground when wearing shoes. Based on Men's size 9 as the standard.

  • Forefoot Stack

Forefoot stack refers to how high the ball of the foot sits above the ground when wearing shoes. Based on Men's size 9 as the standard.

  • Heel-toe Offset

Heel-toe offset (drop) is the difference in height between the heel stack and the forefoot stack. We use the number given to us by the brand.

How We Measure Shoe Fit

  • All measurements are based on Medium width.

  • Fit (width) options are Narrow - Snug - Average - Roomy - Wide.

  • Sizing (length) options are Short - True - Long. Note: fit is relative to the "average" running shoe.

  • We partner with SmartLast, a program by Heeluxe, to use advanced shoe-measuring technology, to provide objective measurements for toe box, midfoot, and heel widths as well as overall length.

the only shoe I can run inI'm 66 years old and have run about 40 years. It's about the only shoe I can run in now. Soft and has good stability. And I've tried a lot.

I love themThey're not a speed work shoe, but for everything else, they are amazing. Super cushy, but I don't get any "mush vibes" or q lack of energy return. They are very bouncy and fun to run in. The upper is secure enough with no hot spots. Felt a little tight at first, but molded to my foot after a couple runs. Only con for me is that the laces run against your foot through the top eyelet and that feels slightly uncomfortable if they lace isn't laying flat, but I generally forget about it during the run. At $108 I feel like I stole them. Will definitely try the update!

Super CushyA big fan of the Neo Vista so far, I like the knit sock like feel of the upper. The only thing is you need to wear higher socks due to rubbing of the higher ankle collar. This feels like a fast shoe, the rocker propels you forward and is very responsive and has a good snap to it. Will definitely be one of my go to road shoes going forward.

Very comfortableThese shoes are amazingly cushioned and very comfortable. The only issue is the seem in the middle of the heel, it rubs on my heel and has caused blisters.

MUSHIf you want a shoe that makes you feel like you're running in sand than this is it! Do you want to make your feet and calves work hard? If so, this is your shoe. You'd like a shoe that feels heavy and sluggish? Look no further. Trying to pick up the pace above 8:00 per mile is a challenge, so in that sense...every other shoe will feel efficient and fast, so maybe it is a good "trainer". Feels ok going slow, but the much cheaper, non plated, shoes do too and they feel much lighter. Sorry, I just don't get the hype on this...many others seem to love it.

Mizuno Neo Vista - Helps the miles melt awayI've enjoyed my first 100 miles with the Neo Vista. Pros: Rocker helps roll along easily Great forefoot protection Able to run easy and half marathon pace (adequate for long distance- tempo run) Resilient foam, should last > 400 miles Cons: Knit upper feels weird, never feels like it's dialed in Heel slippage Foot slides off the platform when making abrupt turns due to lack of upper structure Shoe does affect your running form due to the significant rocker, it seemed to give me some Achilles soreness, but that's still debatable.

All good!Put 25 miles on these as I rotate them alongside Asics Superblast 2 and New Balance Rebel v4. I've really been enjoying these for base mileage. I've only run on unpaved paths and haven't experienced any issues with uneven surface, which is impressive given the less-structured upper. I had to order 1/2 size up, which tracks with the guidance provided on Mizuno's website. Overall, very happy with these.

Great shoe!I have 320 miles in 2.5 months on my pair and will be ordering a new pair to follow them up with. The knit upper is great, a little sloppy feeling on tight corners but the lockdown is perfect otherwise. The outsole is holding up fine as a mid foot striker. Midsole feels cushy but responsive. You can sometimes feel the cutout in the midsole but it’s hardly noticeable.

Midfoot strike runners heaven!!!Prior to getting this I had done a lot of research on the Asic SC Trainer V3, Asics Magic Speed 4 and Mizuno Neo Vista's as they all happened to be in the same category. I settled on the Neo Vista's because of the comfort, breathable upper and versatility especially since I was coming back from injury (IT Band Syndrome and Runner's Knee) and had a half marathon race coming up.These were great and I was pain free until mile 11 but they still pushed me through to finish. I will absolutely buy this shoe again!

Not for wide feet gals!I was really excited to try these but ultimately sent them back. The snug bootie construction was not a good fit for my slightly wide feet. The bouncy midsole construction and rocker shape would have been perfect for me if not for the narrow platform. Mizuno, make them in a wide for women or offer unisex sizing!

Clouds of springy joyLove at first fit with these shoes. I left mizuno years ago when I felt like their shoe tech wasn’t up to speed (pun intended). These shoes are so fun and comfortable and I once again find myself a mizuno fan. They are cushy but not mushy.

My favorite shoe with one complaintGreat for easy miles. The upper fits like a sock and there is plenty of cushion. The one downside is I was only able to go 250 miles before the outsole starting coming apart.

Almost perfectThese shoes are light, soft, comfortable, and responsive. They look super sharp too. My only gripe is they are a bit more narrow in the toe box than I prefer. If the toe box was wider they would be absolutely perfect.

BeautifulBeautiful shoe, like stepping on a cloud, big toebox very soft, but the plate in the shoe left my feet aching. The bottom of my feet really hurt. Otherwise I love everything about these shoes. I wish the option of no plates would be great.
