Cushioning Level
Cushioning level, or stack height, refers to how much shoe is between your foot and the ground. For this category, we reference the amount of cushioning below the forefoot as the heel height will be equal to or greater than the forefoot height.

-
Low

Stability Level
-
Neutral
Neutral shoes support the foot through a normal range of arch collapse and generally do not have a built-in technology to correct movement.
-
Stable
Stability shoes are a great option for those who overpronate or need added support. These shoes help to limit the inward rolling motion of the ankle while running or walking and assist in guiding the foot straight through the gait cycle.
Product Details:
How do you improve one of the best regarded and most capable trail running shoes in the world? The NNormal Kjerag 02 shows how — by leaning in and strengthening your strengths. This lightweight high-performance trail racing shoe makes your fast paces feel easier, to crush sub-ultra (up to about a marathon) distance events.
Now featuring about 2.5 mm more foam, the Kjerag 02 punches above its weight class with unexpectedly good protection underfoot. This means you can mix it in for regular weekly training, going harder or longer while the soles of your feet stay fresher. New for this version, its EExpure+ foam is lighter, softer, and somehow both significantly more responsive and durable. That's impressive for a foam already regarded as lightweight and very long-lasting.
The Kjerag (pronounced shh-rack) 02 also has an increased rocker shape, which complements the fast-rolling lug profile. Leaving a good thing alone, the excellent Vibram Megagrip outsole is carried over from the first version. Last but not least, the premium Matryx upper is now a single layer. This allows better breathability and a flexible glove-like fit, finished with a one-piece knit tongue for snug and comfortable security.
If you loved the balance of connection and protection of the original, but found yourself wanting just a touch more cushioning, they've granted your wish. For easy and agile speed across varied or technical terrain, lace into the NNormal Kjerag 02 to go hard, tread light, and be even faster!
What You'll Love:
- Improved supercritical foam is even more responsive and durable
- Increased cushioning without increased weight
- Thinner and more breathable premium upper
- Greater capability for longer or more frequent miles
