- Low: Low-cut socks go no higher than the middle of the anklebone. No-show socks, which do not go higher than the top of your shoes, are also in this category.
- Quarter: Quarter socks are higher than low-cut socks and usually cover the anklebone entirely. This provides a feeling of stability in the ankle, and alleviates most blistering that could be caused when low-cut socks creep down and expose the skin on the back of the heel.

RoomySocks tend to shrink over time and get too tight but these seem to hold shape and not shrink quickly. One of the most comfortable pair I've ever had.
Comfortable and Breathable.I normally wear Smartwool Targeted Cushion socks for trail running, but decided to give these a try as they’re slightly cheaper (and I like to try new products). They’re well made, cushioned in the right spots, and breathable. My feet never got hot and they stayed in place during my runs. I also like that they come in multiple colors (I like different colors to make matching easier when doing laundry). I can’t speak for durability as I’ve only run in them 5 times, but so far so good. Definitely worth a try if you like Smartwool.
