Fantastic Maximal OptionI’ve been sampling various maximum cushioned running shoes in hopes of putting another in rotation with my Saucony Endorphin Speed 4s as they haven’t made them like the the Speed 2s in a while. Originally checked out the On Cloud Eclipse because of the look being that they would likely be something I could wear to work if nothing else. Quickly realized after around 50 miles total that these are a great option for those a little on the heavier side (180lbs) looking for something that will hold up for the 15-20 miles long runs. Very impressed with how they’ve responded so far and will continue to log the miles in and see if I can make it to 200 before I “retire” them. Highly recommended

Great shoe!!It fits perfect my 10.5 , max cushion it’s felt mostly while walking not as much as running but still I enjoy my 3 or 4 ml runs without pain on my knees.

Great ShoeFirst ever pair of ON's and absolutely love them. Great balance of cushion but firmness that enables you to run easy miles or tempo. Fit is true to size. The upper is comfortable and really nice design.

Max-support without the max weightThis shoe is a perfect blend of being a max cushion shoe for those long runs/recovery runs yet it feels so light on your feet. The shoe is also much more stylish than other traditional max cushion shoes so they can be worn outside of running as well. Only negative for me is the toe box is really stretchy and results in my foot slipping a bit when I run downhill.

Very ComfortableI've been searching for a good running shoe and have had problems with lots of them. This one finally works for me. It has a nice amount of bounce that keeps it feeling light as I run. There's a good amount of cushion so my feet don't hurt after. It fits me well. Some other shoes I've had problems with being too narrow on the edges or feeling like there is a lump in them. These fit perfectly. I've taken them on some long runs. I will say as I start hitting a lot of miles at once, I feel a little discomfort. But with other shoes that comes on much faster, so I'm still very happy with these. While less important, I like the colors and look a lot too.

Good tbhI've put around 230 miles on these shoes, and feel like they can go more than 350 for sure. They are a great all-around shoes from strides to long runs. I do feel the plush and bouncy the shoes offer. They are my favorite trainers without a doubt. The only I can say is the rubber glues on to the plate did peel off a bit but I don't feel a difference.

Meh…Not good at all, narrow midfoot with horrible plastic piece makes the shoe unstable. This, combined with the narrow toebox and extremely curved last, make this shoe wobbly and forces you to heel strike to overcome the giant speed bump in the forefoot. If you like an unstable, painful, and overpriced shoe—then this is for you.

Standard SettingThe shoe fits incredibly well. However there are some nuances that I believe need to be fixed on the next iteration. First, laces….. laces are so long you have to double and triple not them, depending on if you use lace lock. It’s a bit too much. Second, the side ankle portions when using lace lock are a bit hard and could see blisters becoming a problem during a marathon or longer run.

Soft, but mushy.Really enjoyed these shoes. Took them out for a 7 mile long run and about mile 4 the pods felt like they weren't providing much support. Stole them for work and love them! But for running it was a bit soft. Might be because it was 90 outside during the run so I might have to try them again when it cools down, for now I'll float on clouds at work

CloudSqueak300 miles in.. Still comfortable, durable.. Best roll through of any shoe I've tried.. good breathability for hot climates. Also fashionable, but they squeak like hell.. It's embarrassing to wear around, when not running.. Everyone turns, looks ;( Made me not buy another pair when they recently went on sale.. Tread needs major redesign..

Good Long Distance ShoeI bouhgt my pair after trying on several super and premium trainers at my local running store. I was surprised that the fit was great as I have an E foot, and it felt better than the CloudMonster. First run was a bit choppy as I was not used to the Cloud sole structure collapsing and snacking. By my third run, they were mint. Looking forward to running in them through my training cycle for LSD runs. My only issues are related to the height of stack. I hhave a sense that they are not as stable as they could be and have had a couple wobbly moments walking in them. Then when my form breaks down at the end of a long run, I scuff the heels more than I would in say a pair of Cliftons. Still, I enjoy these, recommend them, and may try another On model at a later point.

As a Walking Shoe for Plantar FasciitisFirst, I didn’t run in these shoes but rather went on long walks on city sidewalks. The fit is true to size. I wear a 13 in New Balance, Nike, and Adidas. I wear a 13 wide in HOKA. There is ample room in the toe box, but, it is tight in the mid-foot. I wish it had a cushioned tongue, but the shoe locks down tight and had no issues with my foot sliding inside shoe. I prefer maximum cushioned shoes and the Eclipse definitely is maximum cushioned. It’s a little more firm than the NB X more and the HOKA Bondi 8, but still a very comfortable easy ride. A like the firm bounce as it seems to propel you forward with a rocking motion. I had no issues with stability and felt I had plenty of support. It’s a nice looking shoe and had some reflective aspects. It was a bit annoying when I initially placed my custom orthotics inside the shoe and when I started walking the squeaking sound was rather loud. This was easily fixed by placing some tape on the bottom of my inserts. Overall, I recommend this shoe for walking and everyday use. However, I cannot speak of how the shoe is for running.

Great as a recovery shoeI primarily use these shoes for my recovery and easy days, anywhere from 3 to 8 miles at easy pace. They do feel like they can pick up the pace somewhat if needed, and I appreciate the relatively light weight for such a tall stack shoe. The foam feels firm in a good way and has been really great during some high mileage weeks.

Makes my other shoes seem like wood planks! These shoes are amazing. Cushion, comfort, and ride are great. I sized down 1/2 size. Primarily used for long runs, mid-distance, and recovery. Only subtracted one star because my first pair developed a squeak after break in that wouldn’t go away.

ON Cloudeclipse 1st timerHad to switch from a full carbon plate shoe due to pain and injury. I was fitted by my Local Run Store for a few different options based on my needs. The ON Cloudeclipse was one of the options presented. It was like stepping on a pillow. It was a complete surprise. I currently wear these shoes for work (standing 9hrs/shift) and for walking the dog (since I'm not able to run yet). They allow me to move through my day pain free and maintain comfort all day long. I usually wear an 8.5, but sized down to an 8 in this shoe.

cloudeclipseThis has become my go to shoe particularly for long runs and as a daily trainer. the shoe is highly cushioned and comfortable. the weight does not seem to be an issue and actually feels quite light when running. the fit is true to size. I tend to wear out outsoles very quickly but the outsole has held up better than many of my previous shoes from new balance, saucony and nike. the eclipse has been a very nice surprise never having worn ON Cloud before. it is a great running shoe.

Absolutely a hitBeen wearing Nike for years but OC are my shoe of choice Especially the Cloudeclipse shoebox made wide enough and comfortable for all runs. It's like OC gets it with stylish but functional running shoes something that are made for everyday runners. Nike focused mainly on distance runners so shoe are made on a last that narrow and not functional for the everyday runner. OC Cloudeclipse is a game changer. 100 miles a week and still going strong.

Good nearly greatOverall like the fit and responsiveness of this shoe. On had come along way recently. My one complaint is that the laces are a bit slippery and it takes a lot of pulling and adjusting to get the upper of the shoe adjusted to fit snuggly enough around my foot.

On!!!Love the new Eclipse. Huge stack and soft but not squishy. Rolls really nice. I didn't like the Surfer as it gave me heal pain because it was slightly unstable. Not the case with the Eclipse. Looks cool as a lifestyle shoe as well!
