The Skechers GOrun Ride 11 is a plush yet bouncy daily trainer that offers amazing comfort and versatility, all at a more wallet-friendly price point. The key to the Skechers Ride 11's soft, bouncy ride is the HYPER BURST ICE midsole, which delivers super foam performance and comfort without breaking the bank.
I enjoyed version 10 quite a bit and thought the shoe was highly underrated, and version 11 of the GOrun Ride is even better. Comfortable and cushioned enough for long runs without feeling sluggish, the Ride 11 might be one of the bounciest daily trainers out there, especially given the high level of protection it offers underfoot.
My only complaint is that the shoe was slightly unstable because of the midsole's softness and the lack of structure in the upper. I was concerned about this when I first received the shoe because of old arch and knee injuries that have forced me to do most of my running in stability shoes. In the end, the Skechers Ride 11 was stable enough to remain comfortable on my daily runs and even my longer efforts. Overall, I think the Skechers Ride 11 is a great daily trainer that is very fun to run in. Whether you are a Skechers superfan or new to the brand, the Ride 11 shows that Skechers makes serious running shoes that can compete with the best in terms of performance while providing a more attractive price point.

Upper
Liz: "The Ride 11's engineered mesh upper offers a very comfortable yet secure fit. It has a premium feel with its highly padded heel collar. The upper is also very breathable with a nice level of adaptability, and I think a lot of runners will enjoy having the Ride 11 on foot. I did not experience any irritation throughout testing and enjoyed the upper experience in this shoe. I could have used a little more structured support, but overall, it was a great upper."
Midsole
Liz: "The HYPER BURST ICE midsole is very soft with a bouncy energy return, and the Ride 11 has distinct squishiness to it. The Ride feels slightly softer while walking and standing, firming up a bit while on the run. Version 11's base is now wider, which helps add a heightened level of stability to the shoe. This was necessary, as the squishiness of the midsole makes the Ride a bit unstable. This is not a shoe that runners will want to take fast, tight turns in, but it is a comfortable cruiser that is very enjoyable to run in."
Outsole
Liz: "The Goodyear Performance Outsole shows very little wear after testing, and it provided good grip on every run. We have had an uncharacteristically wet winter here on the California's Central Coast, and the outsole performed well on wet roads. Furthermore, the flex grooves help contribute to the shoe's smooth ride, even despite its high level of cushioning."
Comparable Models
Liz: "The Skechers Ride 11 is a very comfortable daily trainer that offers similar levels of cushioning and protection to popular models like the HOKA Clifton, Saucony Ride, and ASICS Novablast, but its lower price point sets it apart from its competitors. The shoe is not quite as stable as the Clifton or Ride, and there may be better options for those who need extra support. That said, the cushioning of the Ride 11 is bouncier and a bit more exciting on the run than the other models mentioned. In terms of responsiveness and energy return, the Skechers Ride 11's midsole experience is more comparable to the ASICS Novablast, in my opinion."
