The rabbit Speedsters X short tight is the race day version of the highly popular Speedsters short tight from rabbit, a brand that has earned its reputation for producing high-quality running apparel. The Speedsters X is made from super lightweight 3% Ionic+ silver recycled polyester, 69% polyester, and 28% spandex. Moreover, it fights bacteria, eliminates odor, and is incredibly quick-drying. All of these elements combine to deliver a race-ready fit and feel without compromising comfort.
The Bottom Line
Overall, our testers loved the lightweight performance, colorful designs, and moderate storage delivered by the rabbit Speedsters X short tights. The material was comfortable, breathable, and ready to shine on race day. The side pockets were stretchy enough to stuff a few gels in and could even fit an iPhone.
On the other hand, at least one tester was disappointed that the material of the Speedsters X was not as soft as the regular Speedsters tights and that the back zipper pocket on the Speedsters did not find its way to the Speedsters X.
But overall, the rabbit Speedsters X short tight lives up to the rabbit name by being a high-quality piece that's sure to please fans of the brand and anyone who wants to shine a little brighter on race day.

Features & Style
Jon: The Speedsters X has two side stash pockets, which are functional and stretchy enough to fit multiple gels or a phone. It would be great to have more pockets, especially the back zipper pocket that is currently on the regular Speedsters. In terms of the material, although it doesn't feel as buttery soft, or premium as the Core Speedsters, the fabric still feels good against the skin and most importantly, fits comfortably around the waist. It's not too tight, and it's not prone to sagging. It's just right!
Kaleb: I think there is a nice mix of simplicity, style, and features with the Speedsters X short tight. There are side pockets that can hold a cell phone, keys, and nutrition, which is not always the case with short tights. I think a zippered back pocket would be a nice addition moving forward, as I feel like you can never have enough storage. An internal brief also seems to be a dealer's choice when it comes to men’s short tights, and unfortunately, the Speedsters X does not feature an internal brief. That being said, I did not have any issues with comfort or support either.
Fit & Comfort
Jon: They don't have that same velvety soft feel as the regular Speedsters, but the material is still soft and most importantly, comfortably fitting, which to me means compressive enough to not sag without being suffocating. I don't love that I can feel the stitching around my legs, but at least it didn't cause any chafing issues.
Kaleb: The Speedsters X was comfortable, and I really appreciated the overall breathability of them. Are these the most elite or premium short tights out there? No, but I had no problems staying comfortable in these shorts. The Speedsters short tights are a little softer with a more premium feel, but in hotter weather or on tough sweaty workouts, the Speedsters X is a better option in my opinion.
Quality & Value
Jon: Like most rabbit apparel I own, these half tights are high quality, and it's easy to tell they are well made.
Kaleb: While I would not say that these shorts could last forever, the quality is not lacking in the slightest. My issue with value is something I have with the entire category of shorts and short tights; they are pricey (and some companies are making them even pricier). But given their performance and quality, the rabbit Speedsters X Tights have a solid value overall.
Individual Thoughts
The rabbit Speedsters X short tight is a great option for those seeking a lightweight short tight that fits comfortably and will work in just about any type of weather. However, if you're like me and believe that the regular Speedsters short tight is one of the best around, then you might be slightly disappointed in these. For me, you can't take away the two best features of the Speedsters (the buttery soft material and back zipper pocket) and expect me to like the Speedsters X more than the Speedsters. But these are from the rabbit brand, so at least you know you're getting high-quality gear at a competitive price. Especially for those looking for a fun design on their race kits!
I really enjoyed wearing the rabbit Speedsters X tight. They were very lightweight and breathable, perfect for runs in the sun. In contrast, I have found that the rabbit Speedsters short tight runs a bit warmer with less breathability. I think these tights compete well with other short tights in terms of performance and features, but I did have a small issue keeping them high on my hip and had to pull them up from time to time. I would also really appreciate an internal brief because this not only offers more support but helps keep me comfortable, especially on longer runs.
Additionally, I would like to add that the Speedsters X tights instill a sense of speediness, given their lightweight feel. Combine this with the fun colors and patterns, and you have a winning combination to dazzle at the track, on the road, or race day.
