Customer Reviews
Far exceeded my expectationsLast week my hands were completely frozen with my previous pair of gloves at 40 degrees. This morning I used these mittens for the first time at 34 degrees and my hands were sweating! Feels like wearing little ovens on your hands. I'm confident they could handle 10 degrees or lower. Can also easily wear a liner below them if you want to use them for below zero temps

Comments: I love these mittens. They have worked great on my runs and also work well when walking my dog. I am someone who gets very cold hands extremely easily. So far the coldest weather I have taken them out in has been in 28 degrees with 16mph north winds, felt like 17 degrees. After about a mile they warmed up but took my thumbs a tad bit longer to warm up. I just stuck my thumb in the main compartment with the rest of my fingers for a little bit and it will help when waiting for the mittens to insulate more of your body heat. So to recap, when I did my run in 28 degrees with winds, my hands started out slightly cold for a mile or two, but you just have to wait for it to insulate your heat, and then you are golden. As for sizing, I was between a small and medium, and I went with the medium. The medium fits great, so if u r between sizes I would recommend going for the larger size. In temperatures that are higher (like 35-40+) my hands have been nice and warm real quick and I usually end up taking them off for a bit sometimes, or just taking them off for the latter half of my runs when the temps begin to rise more. I would much rather want to take my mittens off and hold them in my hands because my hands are warm than have to tolerate freezing hands my entire run. Next thing is that the mittens feel lightweight. Also, from what I've experienced so far if u get the inside of the mitts sweaty, the insides do get dry by my run the next day. The last thing is these DO NOT work with touchscreens. So if that's important to you then probably don't get them. But otherwise, I really love these mittens and they do the job of keeping my hands warm. I bet even if I ran in 20 degrees, if I gave them a couple miles to warm up, that they would still keep my hands warm. And remember this is from the mouth of someone who gets very cold hands when running in the cold.
