Okay but not greatThey run a little narrow, the heel is a little high, I had to cut the straps holding the tongue down in order to fit the orthotics. The hurricane is a much better choice.
Great UpdateThe Tempus 2 is a great update of the original Tempus. I went through 3 pairs of the original Tempus but wished the upper was more comfortable. The Tempus 2 fixed that. The upper is more plush which, presumably, is where the slight increase in weight comes from, but IMO it's worth it. The midsole/outsole appears unchanged, so the ride feels the same. The sizing also appears unchanged. If you need a lightweight support show for everyday training, give the Tempus a try. It has noticeable support and a slight arch to it, so if you like that in a shoe, this may be a good option.
A (Running)Life saverI've been having a foot issue dating back 5 years that really threw a wrench into training and performance the last year-18 months. I finally found the issue (weak hips), but needed a high cushion stability shoe. I've run in Asics over 25 years and switched to Adidas a few years ago having tried many brands over 40 years. Saucony was the first (real) running shoes I ran in. The Tepus 2 fit those specs so I tried them. I can't say enough about them. The stability is amazing and does not take away from the "pop" in the shoe. Excellent daily trainer that I see as pulling me out of this rut. What I experienced is that when the foot pain sets in, the sole "goes to that spot" and supports the area that needs it--seems miraculous. It's a dream shoe for what I need now. If you need stability AND cushion, Tempus 2 is the one.

Love these!I have low arches and slightly wide feet, and these fit me perfectly and give me the support I need! I've tried shoes with a softer ride like the Saucony Ride and the Brooks Adrenaline, and at the opposite end of the spectrum, the Altra Escalante. I've learned I'm much better off with a shoe that supplies stability, and a decent amount of drop so my legs can absorb the impact. As a slight overpronator this eliminated the issues that developed with my feet as a result of the Rides and Adrenalines, which I still have for comparison. The Vizi Orange colorway is sweet!

Versatile OptionI really like this shoe. It is the right balance of cushioned and responsive. I have no problems taking it out on 10+ mile long runs, and also do a lot of tempo work in them as well.

Zippy but supportiveDidn’t like the original Tempus but I’m glad I tried the Tempus 2! I do most of my speed work in the Endorphin Speeds but these are light enough to take on a workout (I actually raced a 5k in them) while also being supportive enough for a long run. For someone who overpronates and needs some support, this is a good shoe to have in the rotation for tempo/medium-long runs. My one complaint is they bother my big toe a little despite being the right size, they must put extra pressure on the front of the toe.

Tempus 1 to Tempus 2So, it is similar to Tempus 1 thats a good thing because i liked Tempus 1. It does offer slightly better stability and energy return is same almost. I hated tempus 1 upper because it was painful for me. As of now Tempus 2 upper seems to be pretty good
