Swiftwick Merino - Just in timeI received the Swiftwick Pursuiit Merino Four Quarter Crew Socks just prior to the snowfall hitting the southern states. My first run wearing them was in 24 temps with snow falling and 5 inches on the ground. The socks performed amazingly well. Despite being damp to wet they kept my feet warm enough for me to comfortably run for just over an hour. I had no blisters or hot spots. They’re thicker than my normal running socks which was desperately needed considering I was running in highly breathable trail shoes. I currently have multiple runs over 13 miles in these sock and continue to have no problems while running in them. I contribute this to the thickness and Merino construction. As an added benefit the quarter crew height with slight compression aids with ankle stability. For the perfect cold weather running socks I highly recommend the Swiftwick Pursuiit Merino Four Quarter Crew Socks.
