Buzz's Bio

Buzz Burrell has been described as a "Trail Running Legend." That's because he probably did something, but it was so long ago nobody can remember what it was. He also popularized the concept of "fastest known time" and co-founded the website of the same name, was Vice-President of Ultimate Direction, the Manager of the La Sportiva Mountain Running Team, the former USATF Trail 10k Masters Champion, USATF Trail Marathon Age Group Champion, and was 4th in his Age Group at the recent World Masters Mountain Running Championships. Buzz now enjoys co-hosting the Trailhead podcast alongside host, Zoe Rom bringing their listeners a mix of trail topics, stories, and real runner questions.
