Great ValueTights are a great value compared to Nike/Bandit/Tracksmith. High quality, thick yet breathable material. Pockets are great. My only complaint would be the waistband sits low, but it appears they fixed this on their new 2.0 version. Would recommend to anyone.

Great value for the quality of productThis was my first pair of half tights and I absolutely love them. I'm an experienced runner, and can't believe how comfortable these are on runs of all type. And the side pockets are very secure and convenient for gels on long runs, also holds your phone snug if you choose to run with it.

Great OverallI really like the side pockets on these tights, and the interesting designs seal the deal. I have several pairs of plain short tights and the prints on the Boa Constrictor make it stand out (and also make sweat spots less conspicuous).

BOA running half tightsRan a marathon, very comfortable when paired with proper athletic briefs. Nice side pockets for your running gels, and key fob. Compression keeps your quads and hamstrings fresher.

Happy hammyI've been dealing with a uncooperative hamstring for a while now so I thought I would get a pair of boa compression shorts see if they helped. I happy to report that not only is my hamstring happy I am too! Fit is outstanding side pockets are utilitarian. Love my Boa's

Perfect Half Tights (but buy these in black)Great compression, short 7in inseam, two side pockets that fit gels, phone, wet wipes, etc.
I've shopped Wolaco, Lululemon, Bandit, Praise, Satisfy tights and shorts before... these are just as good. However, the compression is evident.
However, don't buy these in white. They are VERY exposing of your "business".Just buy them in black or a different color.

No non-sense half tightThese are solid running tights. They offer some decent compression without being too restrictive. The pockets are nice for storing fuel on longer runs without being baggy. I can't speak to the longevity, but for the first couple of washes they hold up well.

fast n freeRecently made the switch to running in these half tights and really like the fit n feel. They have the right amount of compression, length and strength. Only downside is needing another layer to slip on when I go straight to the grocery store for a little modesty!

Awesome half tightsI've worn these on ~10 runs including a 60k trail race, and they have outperformed some shorts that are double the price. They are slightly thicker than some, but they breathe well, and the pocket on either side is perfect for a phone/gels/etc. Planning to order a second pair.

Quality Half Tights w/ Minor ChaffingVery high quality half tights with just a little bit of compression. The pockets, fit, everything is perfect. Unfortunately for me they chaff a little in the groin as there's two seams that run from the front to back. Only really affects me on longer runs. Otherwise these are fantastic.

Great pair of half tightsMy first pair of half tights and I can see now why people love these shorts. Took these out on a chilly morning for a long run, and they held up great. No chafing or blisters. I was worried the compression would be too much and restrict blood flow, but they were actually perfectly comfortable with just the right amount of compression. I could easily run with my phone and 3-4 gels in the side pockets without feeling a thing.

A little small, but great!The two pockets on the shorts are fantastic! Just what I needed to carry my phone and some gels for a marathon. The material is soft and comfortable, however the shorts run a bit small. I'm 6' and 150 lbs, and I ordered a medium, and they are quite snug. Consider sizing up!

Shorter Tights For the WinI prefer shorter shorts, but half tights are superior in helping with chafing of the thighs. These meet the demands of both, absolutely. This will be my fall racers, and I just hope they do more colors of this length and cut in the future

Great pairI tend to shy away from wearing white but these are great. Make sure you have a decently long shirt if you are wearing just these down below as white is pretty revealing. Love these shorts and mediums fit me well with a 36 in. waist.

BOA Half TightSo far they appear to be well made with thick material and good construction. They fit true to the sizing guide. The pockets are more than enough for a cell phone and multiple gels. I’ve since bought multiple pairs that I use for all my summer runs.

Great ShortsGreat quality, pockets on the side of each thigh where you could carry phone or bars/gels, material feels robust, compression and not overly stretchy, multi panel construction makes for a good fit, got size small and I'm a 30 waist and they feel right. PerfectI have tried many half tights and shorts over the years. These have been the best so far. Fit is perfect, love the amount of compression, and absolutely no chafing. In the last month I’ve ran a half marathon, a 5k, and a 6 hour trail ultra (28miles) in them with no chafing whatsoever. Even rained for 3 out of the 6 hours during the trail race with no issues.

Sizing IssueFor context, I'm 5'9", 160lbs, and a 32 waist. The Medium felt too tight in the waist, so I exchanged it for a Large. The Large fit comfortably in the waist, but was gappy in the crotch area and leg opening (and I have bigger thighs too). I chose not to return it only because it's good to have a cheaper half tight instead of having them all expensive. If you're looking for a budget option, this is good. Unfortunately, it didn't fit me well.

My go to shortsMy fav running shorts by far. I know they’re not shorts, they’re half tights. They’re better than shorts. Great pockets. They can hold an iPhone 14 Pro, and a car fob in one pocket no prob. That leaves your other pocket for multiple gels, or for picking up trash you find along your route. Pockets are nice n tight too. No phone bouncing.
I use them for all weather too. I don’t fine them particularly hot in summer, and they’re the perf base layer in colder temps. Have had very little chafing in these.
Can hold up to multiple runs before a wash.
I guess the only drawback is that they can be pretty revealing in front. Not a big deal unless you’re trying to go pick up the kids from school right after a run. If I’m doing that I’ll put on a pair of linerless 3” shorts over them that look cool but I can’t wear alone cause my thighs just chafe and chafe in em.
Anyhow, they’re rugged and fit great. No reason to get the more expensive ones. These have all the features you could possibly need.

Better than Tracksmith Reggie Half TightsI love my Tracksmiths, but these are even lighter. The pockets are ample and on the legs, which is better; the TS tights have the pocket in back, and phone weight tends to make them sag after working up a good sweat (the B.O.A.s have an internal drawstring as well, so zero sag).
Love the patterns, too. I'm not shy, but it's nice to break up the bulge a bit with the fractal.

Stellar tights for all distancesThese tights are nice and a good price. They’re a good length - 7” seam or so, so a couple inches above the knees on me, 5’9”.
They’re a thicker material, so they’re not sheer, but still very breathable and not too constrictive. The gusseted crotch is nice and almost feels padded without being too tight.
Big fan of the dual pockets. I don’t use the ties but they could be nice for the right size waist.
These fit SLIGHTLY snug on me, maybe I’m a bit big for a medium, but definitely too small for a large.
Overall great tights for all distances. Very happy.

Boa half tightCompared to other brands of half tights this is definitely the cheapest option out there! The material is not as light as other brands like the north face, but the price difference is extremely helpful. The boa half tights have nicely built pockets on the sides of the legs, these pockets are tight enough to put a soft flask in and run without jiggling.
