Great Walking shoe for back and kneesThis is my second pair of Brooks Ghost shoes and will not be my last. I have knee and lower back issues and this shoe actually works to minimize pain. I've tried countless other quality shoes, and this one tops them all. Besides being very comfortable, this shoe is attractive and wears extremely well.
The Brooks Ghost is my Main ShoeI ran my first full marathon in the Ghost, and have been wearing them ever since. They have decent cushioning, are reasonably lightweight and feel great.

My go to shoe for a long timeThe ghost has been my go to shoe for a while and this version didn’t disappoint. I get the wide version so sometimes the colors available aren’t the best, but I like the white/purple of this one. Reliably get me through 350-400 miles each pair.

Ghosts are the "go-to" shoeI bought these for my wife and she loves them. She does not use them for running. She has a foot ailment and the Ghosts consistently provide the most comfort and pain relief. She seems to enjoy the overall level of cushion and the room in the toe box.

Brooks GhostI've been running for close to 50 years and I love the new Brooks Ghost shoe. Over the years I've run in Nike, Saucony, Mizuno, and Hoka. Right now Brook Ghost are my favorite. The black sole always looks clean, the shoe is comfortable and seem to endure more miles than other running shoes right now.

The only running shoe with enough widthI have been wearing these shoes for a number of years now , and switched over from Asics. I found that the padding and width on these shoes is a perfect combination for me. There are no radical changes from year to year, which keeps it as a consistent winner!

GhostI must say Brooks are a go to for me! I have used them over the last 20 years and have never been disappointed. I used to ride my bike as a kid when my dad ran and always noticed him wearing Brooks. So I guess he passed the tradition on to me. Get a pair you will not be disappointed!

Nice shoe, horrible companyThe past few versions of the Ghost have been my walking and hanging out shoe. Unfortunately, they've never really been good for me to run in. They are comfortable, and I really appreciate that they come in 4E. They last a decent amount of time, but they're not the most robust shoe. I got a pair from Running Warehouse recently (Sept 24), and I can see my big toe has already worn a hole in the lining of the upper. Based on that, I can't give them more than 3 stars. As much as I like these for walking, they will be my last pair of Brooks.

Guage your needsOverall great comfort/support running shoe. Laces (slip) and heal (crushes upon entry) need to be improved. I'm 204 lbs. & 73 yrs old with a 12 min. pace at 67 mi. / mo. and have to replace the shoes every 250 miles when support breaks down. Left Asics 2 yrs ago due to lack of support.

Happy SoulsI’ve been wearing Brooks for over 10 years and Ghost 16 is the best update I’ve worn yet. All over foot comfort from toes to heel. Being an avid walker these days, my hips, knees and feet feel comfortable during my long treks. Highly recommend this shoe!

Brooks super shoeI have been wearing Brooks Ghost shoes for several years. The fit and comfort feels like it was custom designed for my feet. Great for achilles tendonopathyThese shoes and their high heel drop have been instrumental in helping heal my achilles tendonopathy. I wear them running, cross training, and out and about. These shoes are heavier and stiffer than my usual preference. They are padded but not as soft as some others out there. Not sure if I will continue to wear shoes like this after these wear out and my ankles are back to normal,but they're great for now!

Workhorse Shoe of the year!The Brooks Ghost 16 is a fantastic update. It keeps getting better every year. It’s the perfect daily trainer. Durable, fairly lightweight, comfortable, just enough stability and the new updated midsole has some good pop if you want to inject some speed into your runs. Great all-around running shoe and trainerLove these shoes! I have been struggling with achilles tendonitis, and read that I should use a shoe with a 10+ mm heel-to-toe drop, and I returned to the Brooks Ghost, which have a 12 mm drop, after trying other shoes. Not only are they comfortable, but the pain has subsided. As an avid ultra runner, I am grateful for these shoes.

Most Comfortable Running Shoes!I have been on the hunt for new running shoes for the past couple of years; I had Brooks 4 years ago, loved them so much that I hunted the same brand down 3 years ago even though they were outdated. Then 2 years ago, I couldn't find the same ones and settled for others but I wasn't really too thrilled about them. These though, are so comfortable!! I feel like I could run for hours and my feet wouldn't hurt!

Great shoe36 years old wanting to get into running. Brooks ghost was recommended to me as an entry level shoe. Something good but won’t break the bank if I don’t keep it up. It’s been a few weeks now and these shoes are incredible. My last pair of “running” shoes were an old pair of Prince tennis shoes. Actual running shoes make all the difference.
These are very light shoes and easy to forget you’re wearing them while running, while being very comfy and cushioning during runs. These shoes make me want to run so that I can wear them. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get into running but doesn’t want to spend a ton on a pair of shoes.

Great shoes!I’ve had several pairs of the Ghost and have loved them all. The 16 did not disappoint. Looks great, lightweight, and comfortable from day 1.
The only thing I’d like to note… I’m typically between a 6.5 and 7, but always go with 7 for running shoes because I like a little extra toe room. I ordered a 7, and it fit more like a 6.5. My toes touch the end of the shoe (barely). A 7.5 may have been better for me. The shoe ran a bit smaller than expected.

Make Running Great AgainStarted running again recently. Tried Hoka Clifton, also tried Nike Pegasus, both made the arches on my feet flare up and the toe boxes didnt have a lot of room. Went in store and they recommended these. I went with the wide version and my feet feel great, toe box has a lot of space and I have been hitting PRs in these. Currently I use them for running and walking.

amazing shoe13 miles out of the box, on flats and up a small mountain trail--which is probably the farthest I've run in ten years, at least. Fantastic rebound and toe-off. My legs felt fresh at the end like I could have done more. I ran nine minute miles out and at the end (which is faster than normal for my 64 year old self). The shoe accommodated my funky left foot, of supination, forefoot pronation and tibial torsion, like no other shoe has. Hands down the best shoe I have in the mountain of running shoes in my closet and probably the best shoe I've run in during 40 years of running. Not only is the midsole very responsive, but unlike many of the supershoes out there I've tried, this shoe is extremely well designed, too. I haven't run in Brooks for about 12 years, but boy, this is a completely different shoe from the Ghost I ran in then. Highly recommended. This is a shoe that will bring a smile to your face (finally!).
