Reimagined from the ground up, the Nucleo 2 brings thoughtful updates to Diadora's most versatile training shoe. With a low 5 mm drop and a new asymmetrical midsole design, it delivers improved stability and control without compromising the smooth, balanced ride it's known for.
At its core, the Anima midsole powers each step with more rebound and less weight than traditional EVA. The result? A shoe that's great for long runs, recovery days, and everything in between.
Stability gets a subtle but meaningful upgrade through a redesigned geometry. External excavated zones and a flattened medial side help control rotation and guide the foot through the gait cycle. The outsole's heel rubber has been extended from 6 to 11 cm on the medial side, enhancing ground contact and helping you stay centered even during fatigued miles.
The upper is crafted from nylon air mesh and microfiber, updated with a more refined structure that hugs the foot without limiting natural motion. The tongue now includes a lateral elastic mesh system integrated into the lining, securing it in place and preventing twisting for a more dialed-in fit.
Inside, the DDATTIVO insole adds another layer of smart cushioning. Made from lightweight, high-density foam, it's fully breathable and designed to reduce heat, wick moisture, and fight odors.
