Great shoe for what I needI bought these shoes for 3-4 mile walks on local open-space fire roads and trails. They handle steep hills, mild mud, and dry loose conditions well...providing just the needed extra traction I need. They're also great just walking the dogs on neighborhood streets. Being Hokas they are super comfortable and supportive. Absolutely recommend. I did have to order 1/2 size up. Hokas run a tad small for me.

Great pair of HOKA shoes! These are a great pair of HOKAs! I've purchased these and an Orange pair. Good for the gym, everyday wear, and while traveling abroad.

I really wanted these to fit my feet.I loved everything about this shoe. The stability, the toe box, the traction, the upper. However, after a short run to cause extreme pain across the laces. I stopped to adjust the laces several times but I couldn’t get them to work. I had to lock them down tighter than I would have liked from heel slippage, but even after loosening them to where my heel was slipping with every step they still hurt. I am giving these 4 stars because I think they are great shoes, I just don’t think they are great shoes for me. My friend has a pair and he absolutely loves them. I won’t be getting another pair of these, but I would still recommend them to others.

Big boysOverall great shoe but a few gripes. Got a blister on a big toe, but I didn't make a great sock choice that day. Took a few runs for them to "break in" and the foam to soften up a bit. Definitely not meant for blasting technical trails with how wide they are underfoot and the high stack height, but a great dirt road and mild singletrack shoe.

Hoka Stinson 7These shoes are fantastic. I have arthritis in both feet as well as flat feet. The Stinsons are the only shoes that give me the cushion as well as support I need. I'll be getting another pair. Highly recommend them.

Stinson womensGreat sneaker if you’re looking for a good looking sneaker along with stability I’ve had problems with the soul of my foot for a while, and although they are not as cushioned as my other hokas, they are great

Love the New VersionI have run in the last two versions of the Stinson and appreciate the updates with the new one. Much more aggressive lugs for muddy hills. Version 7 doesn’t feel as cushioned at the 6, but it’s still a comfortable ride.

Stinson 7I bought the Stinson 7 shoes about a month ago. They are a great shoe. Wide toe box, stable with plenty of cushion. The larger tread is helpful for extra grip on my dirt road. These are my new go-to shoe. I also love that running warehouse remembers what I previously ordered and when. Making it easy to reorder.

HeavyShoe is comfortable and stable. It’s too heavy for me to run in. Good show for hiking and walking. Probably good for a heavier runner.

Not a fanI’ve tried hard to like these shoes. I have two other styles of Hoka and love them. These are hard and rigid to me. I finally sent them back and going to try the Speedgoat and 1/2 size larger than usual.

This shoe is great!First off, no comparison at all between the looks of this shoe and the first version of the Stinson. The first version of the Stinson is on first place for the ugliest running shoe ever. Actually, cant think of any hoka that did not begin as a very unattractive shoe and the Stinson took it to a whole other level of uglyness. Actually, If I did not see this latest version up close in a running shoe store, I probably would not have bought them. The Challenger 7 is one of my favorite running shoes of all time. I bought my first pair last year and really think it hits all the marks. I thought that the only thing I would want in the challenger 7 would be additional stack height/mid-sole material and the lugs to be a bit more aggressive. When I first saw the Stinson 7 in person, It struck me as just that, a very similar shoe to the Challenger 7 in every way but just some additional mid-sole and bit more agressive lugs. Viola, I give you the Stinson. Like the challenger 7, I find it to be an attractive running shoe as well. Something not common in trail shoes especially ones boasting this much material. This shoes are comfortable, fun, functional and good looking. They are exactly what I wanted as far as things I would add to the challenger 7. All we need now is a gortex version of the Stinson and my trail running shoe search will end here.

Great stability and comfortI bought these shoes due to foot pain. As soon as I put them on, I knew they would work for me. They are stable with cushioning and good traction. I have done a trail 10k race with 1200ft climbing in them. This is a great shoe with only a couple complaints from me. #1 they are bulky and heavy. #2 they don't breathe well. My feet get really hot and sweaty. I tried running a street 10 miler and I knew by mile 7, I was going to have a blister from too much heat and friction. So mostly I use these for short distances and walking.
