A+Really appreciate the extra electrolytes on hot days. The strawberry/lemonade is very tart and blackberry/banana is my personal favorite.

Great energy gelsWe love these huma gels. They go down easy because they're looser than GU and other gels, and with the chia seeds they don't upset our stomaches. The strawberry lemonade flavor is pleasant. We've run many half and full marathons on these with no issues.

Comments: Huma energy gels are expensive but worth it. These are the only gels that don't mess with my stomach and actually taste like real food (because they are). I usually snarf 3-4 of these down during a marathon. They spike your glucose up pretty quickly, yet still give you some stable energy for 30-40 min. Good stuff.

Comments: Huma is my favorite after testing 6 different brands. The main difference for me was the consistency compared to others. With Huma I really don't even need water to wash it down, most of the time I don't drink water with them. Additionally, the strawberry and blueberry(only one's I've tried) taste great and I feel a noticeable energy increase.

Comments: I love these gels. Every flavor is good, but the mocha and chocolate ones taste like you're eating dessert while you're out on a long run, which I find to be a nice little mental treat. Unlike other brands, these gels don't give me an uncomfortable or heavy feeling in my stomach. At first, I didn't think that the energy payoff was as good as Gu, but the more I tested them out, the more I realized that it was all in my head. These gels are getting me through all of my marathon training long runs just fine. My only complaint is with the packaging rather than the gel itself. The packets are not the easiest to open every time, and the small opening makes it so that you have to put a little more effort into squeezing all of the gel out into your mouth. If they eventually redesign the packaging, it'll be a perfect product.

Comments: I LOVED Huma Gels! It got me on natural ingredients, chia, and the fact that it's VEGAN! I felt that my energy bursts were leveled out during my 15 & 16 - miler marathon training. It's easy to digest and it never did upset my stomach. It truly tastes natural versus the artificial tastes of many other gels in the market. Huma Gels is truly a revolutionary product in sports nutrition. I'm happy to fuel my body with Huma.

Comments: The best tasting, good-for-you, gel on the market. They use all-natural ingredients that do not take a science degree to read and understand. The consistency and texture are much thinner than other gels, which tend to be thick and syrupy. This makes them easy to ingest and take while running. Because they use two forms of sugar, evaporated cane juice and brown rice syrup, I tend to get a more even release of energy, rather than one big spike. Proofs in the pudding though. You gotta try them.

Comments: I was looking forward to using this gel based on the ingredients and description however it didn't deliver what I was hoping for. First of all, I found the packaging tricky to open. Secondly, I didn't get the energy I was expecting, and also had some stomach issues. If you look at the ratio of sugars to carbohydrates you'll notice almost all the carbohydrates are sugars. Most energy gels designed for long endurance events have a lower amount of sugars. Everyone is different, so this gel may be perfect for somebody else, however it just didn't work for me.
