The Injinji Run Lightweight Mini-Crew Toesocks Navy is made for the runner looking for a minimal sock with high performance. Sock Thickness

  • Thin: Thin socks are typically ultra-lightweight, highly breathable, and quick-drying. These socks are ideal for snug-fitting shoes, like racing or competition options, or for the runner who prefers a more minimal approach to their footwear.
  • Medium: Medium-thickness socks offer a blend of cushioning, moisture-wicking, and added comfort. These socks work well for most runners and can provide an extra sense of protection in everyday running shoes.
  • Thick: Thick socks provide full cushioning for a plush ride and extra comfort. These socks are useful for runners looking for underfoot protection or those who are looking to remove any extra space in their shoes.

Sock Height

  • Low: Low-cut socks go no higher than the middle of the anklebone. No-show socks, which do not go higher than the top of your shoes, are also in this category.
  • Quarter: Quarter socks are higher than low-cut socks and usually cover the anklebone entirely. This provides a feeling of stability in the ankle, and alleviates most blistering that could be caused when low-cut socks creep down and expose the skin on the back of the heel.
  • Crew: Crew socks go as high as mid-calf. They provide full foot, ankle, and low leg coverage for a variety of activities.

Only kind of socks I wearUntil I started wearing Injinji socks, I would always get dead toenails during marathon training cycles and race days. I've been wearing Injinjis now for almost 20 years and it has never happened again. Separating the toes protects the nails, and is also extremely comfortable. Naysayers ("It just feels weird") need to give it an honest try over a few runs, and I'm convinced most will be sold. These particular socks - the lightweight mini-crews - are great for hot weather runs. Not too thick, and they come up just high enough to absorb sweat and keep some of it out of your shoes.

Great for summerI usually wear injinji mid weight sock so tried these out for the warmer summer months and they didn’t disappoint. Thin but not too thin, breathable. I’m a women's size 7.5 running shoe annd and a small fit perfectly! I also wore them right away on a 20 mile run and they were just great.

Nice lightweight toe sock optionI love my mid weight Injinji socks but wanted something thin to wear in the heat. The weight on these are nice, but I wish they were tighter on my foot.

Good for hot weatherNice hot-weather alternative to Injinji's mid-weight version. Doesn't hold as much water. I use these for most long runs now, unless it's cold out and I use mid-weights. When I pair these with sock liners, the cushioning is comparable to the mid-weight version.

Injinji LightweightI'm a big fan of Injinji socks and these didn't disappoint. Before using these, I'd only used the midweight (or original weight) socks, but given how hot it's been lately, I wanted to try the lightweight socks. I've used these on both shorter and longer distance runs. They are high quality, breathable, and conform well to my feet and toes. I also like that this length (mini-crew) protects my ankles from any heel counter issues. Definitely would recommend these.

First Try of Injini - Very PleasedFirst time trying out a pair of Injinji socks based on feedback I'd gotten from others. Very happy overall! The individual toes definitely cut down on blister rub, especially in the drippy hot summer weather. And so far they are proving to be durable as well. I will be buying more.

Injinji Run Lightweight Mini-CrewNice socks. Ran Boston marathon in these without major issue - no blisters. It's on par in term of thickness with other brands. It's less elastic (i.e. accommodating variety of ankle sized and foot volumes vs. other top running sock brands (>$15 / pair) but the individual toes may be an overall benefit for some - less blister, sock bunching around toes, etc.
