Product Details:

No goal is out of reach when you've got the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro 2 on your feet. As one of the most uniquely designed racing shoes on the market, the Wave Rebellion Pro 2 breaks the mold and brings runners everything they need to experience a new level of fast in races from the 5K to marathon distance.

Known for its standout midsole shape, the Wave Rebellion Pro 2 sees even more dramatic forefoot and heel bevels in the second version, along with more of the brand's ultralight ENERZY LITE+ Foam and a new stripped down upper. The full-length carbon-fiber infused Wave Plate has been reinvented for a stiffer and more efficient ride and is sandwiched between the layers of bouncy ENERZY LITE+ foam and lightweight and soft ENERZY LITE foam in the midsole to deliver a highly energetic ride from start to finish. Additionally, the SMOOTH SPEED ASSIST geometry ensures a silky smooth turnover that will keep you running efficiently for the entirety of the race.

The G3 rubber outsole makes a comeback in this version to deliver the same reliable traction without compromising weight, and finishing off this shoe is the engineered mesh upper that contains minimal materials in order to deliver maximum performance. Don't be alarmed however, as the internal support strap and triple shoelace loop helps maintain a secure lock down and distraction free fit.

Your next PR is calling, lace up the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro 2 and answer the call.

NOTE: In order to maintain consistency, Running Warehouse hand measures all shoes for accurate stack heights. While we measure this shoe at 48mm in the heel, the aggressive heel bevel in the shoe clears it for competition use by keeping it within the World Athletics requirements of 40mm or less in the heel based on their measurement standards.

The shoe that make you smileEvery time, once this shoe is on (and also pro3), a smile appears. The bounce, the cushion, the easy run too fast and hard. And still a smile. Only shoe that make me to keep going... just wishing for more time on a day....

Fastest shoe yet! This shoe exceeded my expectations. It proved as fast or faster than other carbon plated shoes as well as the Nike Vaporfly. The shoe does not wear out near as fast and the energy return is second to none. Highly recommend.

Little unstable for me.Everything was good that includes upper with nice toe box and perfect lock down, midsole and carbon plate with nice pop but felt little unstable with geometry during run.

Surprise! Mizuno Has A Solid Running ShoeI picked this show first because it matched my race kit knowing that if they were horrible Running Warehouse would replace them. The first runs were not great in the shoes as the design I had to adjust to the way the shoe performed. I got a small bit of soreness in parts that were not used to the way the shoe hit the ground. I pushed through this to give it a little time to break in more before making a decision. This was a gamble as the beloved Nike Vaporfly gave me achilles pain for almost two years after I wore them. The shoes broke in well and my body adjusted to the new foot strike angles. I wore them for training for an Ironman then in the race and they gave me little to no pain unlike many other shoes I have worn. The Ironman marathon was in the rain and wet pavement the entire course and the shoes did amazing. The best part is that after several weeks wearing the shoes the bottom is still intact. Hokas I tend to wear out in days with their soft bottom design that I suppose is to push more sales over performance. Mizuno's shoe is sturdy and the actual rubber bottoms gives you excellent grip while preserving the shoe's integrity longer than the competition. For now, I am Team Mizuno until some other shoe steals the performance that I am getting from these shoes.

Possibly the best super shoe out thereI’ve had it for only a week so far, but the first impression has been phenomenal. The shoe feels great and seems to work very well with my stride mechanics. Plus, it is definitely fast. So far it seems significantly faster than my all-time favorite- the Nike Alphafly 1. My calves have been much more tired, almost sore, but I expect them to get used to the only 2-mm drop within the next week or two. Anyway, I highly recommend the Wave Rebellion 2.

Awesome shoes but unstableGreat shoes but very unstable for me. I now just use them for training purposes not racing because I keep rolling my ankle running at race pace with them on uneven surfaces. I usually run my long runs in them 20-30 miles at 6:45 to 7:30 pace per mile. They are very durable and the cushion is amazing and I'm 6'2 and 170 lbs.

Amazing ShoesI have been racing in the Mizuno Pro 1's for a little over a year and I thought a shoe couldn't be any better. Mizuno out did themselves. V2, is bouncier more aggressive, and more stable. I haven't raced in it yet, but with V1, I was setting PRs for 10Ks and below. I am a slight heel striker, but the show still works for me and I don't/can't heel strike. I am sure this shoe is for everyone because of the unusual platform, but if it works for your style of running, expect a really fast shoe.

King of the current crop of supershoesFor reference, of the carbon shoes I have all the Nike, Asics, Saucony, Hoka and Adidas. The Mizuno is now my fav, with Alphafly1 and latest Hoka tied for 2nd. I was excited for the Alpha 3, but no more. Hard to see how it tops this shoe. Fit is a little goofy. I wear 10.5 in Nike and tried 10.5 in this but it was bit short. Traded for 11 which offers great room in the toe box, but is a bit sloppy in the upper and heel. I use elastic laces and getting the fit right has been tough. My solution has been to wear thicker socks and this works great. Some of the reviews indicate that this is only for forefront runners and that the shoe only comes alive at high speeds. Don't be dissuaded. In fact, it feels better at a leisurely place in my opinion. Not sure why this is categorized as a "short distance" shoe. I plan on this being my Ironman shoe. I have yet to wear them outside, but I am doing sets on the treadmill that are as fast as I have done in some years. Planning on racing in this shoe this season.
