Product Details:

The Nike Invincible Run 3 is a top-of-the-line neutral running shoe that offers a magically plush experience during your daily runs, no matter the distance. As a max-cushioned shoe equipped with one of the best superfoams (ZoomX) on the market, the Invincible Run 3 is built to make every mile feel easy on your legs. And by no means does the cushioning feel like you're stepping in quicksand. The ZoomX foam remains as responsive as ever, and the updated geometry adds an even more energetic transition through your gait cycle. Despite the large slab of ZoomX foam in the midsole, you'll enjoy optimal stability thanks to the widened base.

Other updates can be found in the upper, with an improved Flyknit mesh that offers a more comfortable and breathable fit, as well as the outsole, which is thicker in this version to be even more durable. If you're looking for a daily trainer or a go-to recovery day shoe that offers premium comfort from start to finish, then look no further than the Nike Invincible Run 3.

What You'll Love:

  • ZoomX foam delivers an incredibly soft yet responsive ride.

AmazingNike always seems to run narrow, the invincible 3 is wide, roomy, and super comfortable, they did not disappoint, considering buying another pair.

Great for what it is.The Invincibles were awesome for daily mile with cushion. Absolutely loved these shoes. The zoomX foam was really nice and soft and was just a joy to run in. I also like the room in the toe box, not as much as my old Altras, but still enough to feel comfortable. The only cons are the weight and the price, but then, its a super critical foam running shoe so what do you expect? Overall, I think that the pros totally outweigh the cons and is a wonderfull shoe for long runs, daily miles, or just everyday wear. Its just a comfortable shoe. Thanks for reading this far.

Best Nikes I’ve Ever OwnedI cannot believe these shoes do not have better reviews. I run about 15 to 20 miles a week and have high arches and these are the best shoes I’ve ever owned from any brand. And I’ve tried pretty much all of them. Plenty of cushion, but very responsive And not too soft. They fit perfect and foot feel snug, but not tight anywhere on the foot. They are super light. Not a single negative.

Cushioning galore! If you need a neutral shoe with tons of cushioning, this is the shoe for you! I've been wearing the Invincible line since they came out. The first version felt a little unstable on uneven surfaces, and like running in 'moon boots'. With the latest version, Nike Invincible #3, Nike made substantial improvements to the feeling of stability on uneven surfaces without compromising on cushioning. Lots of color combo options and a great training shoe. (I get about 350 miles out of a pair, but I had 2 hip replacements a few yrs ago and need to ensure I have plenty of cushioning) Enjoy!

So comfyOk these look suuuper cool. And they are very soft and comfortable. They aren’t as high of a stack as I prefer for slogging miles, as I do get a bit of ground feel. But I keep going back to them for easy miles and haven’t been disappointed.

Invincible Run 3College cross country/track runner that peaks at around 90 miles a week. Have ran about 850 miles split between 2 pairs of Invincible 3 and just bought a 3rd pair on discount. I love this shoe. Probably my favorite pair ever. I wear multiple shoes throughout a week but for the Invincible I use it a lot on easy runs to recover and Long Runs. They are great at reducing impact and making sure my legs still feel good after my runs. Longest run I’ve done in them is 18 miles and I have full confidence that they could handle pretty much any run. I’ve heard people have problems with the heel collar messing with their ankle but I have never had that problem. Would highly recommend people to get a pair regardless of what type of runner you are especially if you can find them on discount.

Tight tow boxThe tie box in this show runs a bit tight, when compared to last years model. Recommend thin socks with this shoe. On the positive side, graet cushioning.

The Heel Slip is BADI wanted to like this shoe so much but the heel slip was terrible. Even using the heel lock lacing method, it had to be done so tightly that it was no longer comfortable. Besides this, it was a nice shoe but I had to return

Bravo NikeI've heard that this update is worse than previous versions, but I'm loving this shoe! It has a ton of cushion, especially under the heel, which makes it awesome for hill running. That being said, I use this as a daily/recovery trainer. The ZoomX is awesome, but without a plate, it just isn't as bouncy. Also, I went a half size down, and I still have a roomy toe box.....standard nike fit issues. Rotating with Nike Fly 5, HOKA Mach 6, Brooks Hyperion Max, and using Dragonfly 1s for racing. (4:23 mile, 15:57 5k).

Too Comfy for a dailyI liked the 2nd version for occasional easy stuff or walking around when legs felt beaten. This version I like better, mainly for the slightly more stable feel in the mid foot and heel, and they look much better to me, which is always the most important thing, right? The heel lockdown is fine for me and I have not had any issues with the fit - they fit me a little better/less sloppy than the 2nd version. They kind of turned into a casual out and about shoe for me and are supremely comfortable for that. I only run in them occasionally when I want to slow down and go easy- they have a nice bounce back on slow pace and are enjoyable for this type of cruise- they keep me from wanting to push and go faster than I should for an easy run, but in a good way that you don’t mind ( if that makes sense. ) Long story short these are fun to have, very comfortable when legs feel ripped up, but fall more into a daily life / occasional but enjoyable chill run shoe for me.

Nike invincible 3This shoe is incredibly cushioned and bouncy. Some reviews complain of heel slippage but I’ve had no problem. I’m a bigger runner and always feel protected. Not a fast shoe, but great for easy days.

Diii runner using invincibleI am a collegiate runner in diii and had used this shoe (1st generation) in highschool, I love this shoe and have already done lots of work in them after two weeks. These shoe shave handled all my easy paces and longer runs so far and they feel like I could do tempo effort work as well in them. I am planning on doing my first few workouts of the summer in these shoes to confirm this. Overall I love the shoe, I recommend walking in them for several days before running in them, the heel counter rubbed on my ankle for. little bit before they were broken in and if I had started running right away in these I believe they would've caused blisters because of the stiff heel counter.

Not my favoriteI have to say I bought them because I loved the design knowing Nike isn’t my favorite shoe to begin with. I think the only thing I don’t like is that the heel always feels loose. It’s the first pair of Nike running shoes that are not too slim for me, on the contrary, they’re very wide, especially in the heel part I feel like it’s always a bit too lose. Other than that, good cushion and just love the design.

Excellent Update!Absolutely zero clue why people have any problems with this shoe. It feels like the best version of the Invincible yet to me after running in several of the version 1 and 2. - Has the same feel as the ZoomX in previous versions, but seems to last longer - Better grip that does well on dirt/sand (Nike is usually pretty solid with road shoe rubber) -People say they are wide which seems true, but that adds inherent stability; plus if you lace them up well they are fine even for a narrow foot like mine -Never had any heel slip even going up hills, not sure where people are experiencing this... no runner's loop needed Overall, this shoe has been excellent, especially for me coming off a big foot surgery. Most comfortable running shoe on the market!

Wow, V1 was great, this is another shoe! BAD!I bought these shoes even after the bad reviews from customers and pros. My mistake to stick with this shoe after loving the previous two versions. This is another shoe and it’s bad! Everything about heal slip is correct, no matter how you tie them. 3 mos in and the uppers started to peel away from the sole, no rain needed! This shoe is junk, what a shame, Nike ruined a great shoe. As I travel the World these will be thrown in the garbage and I am now done with Nike! I wish I could post pics here!

Great Road Running Shoe!I love this shoe, I'm not sure why it often gets mixed reviews. Revision is different, but worksI’ve worn all previous versions of this shoe and they work very well for me. The 3rd revision works equally well. Other reviewers noted the less-padded heel slips more and I concur. I can live with it and also recommend.

Horrid in every way imaginableLiterally the worst designed shoe. Nike had to go out of their way to design this show so badly. I won't even wear it as a walking shoe. 1) It is tremendously wide. Photos have or looking like a very well designed and superficially more than pleasant to look at. Even others commented on how odd, wide and awkward ot looked. Heel was also commented on as way too high. 2) The materials are cheap in every way. Cheap feeling, looking and overall not conducive to a decent running shoe. 3) Heel lock down is an atrocity, even with a "runner's" knot and somewhat after wrapping laces in an unnecessary way. 4)You would think they were comfortable. You would be incorrect. They are unstable, due to the floaty marshmallow of the Heel with harder bits not stabilizing the heel, midfoot or forefoot. I'll stick with Saucony, Asics of the past and some of the new Hoka items aren't too shabby.

Super cushiony and flexibleI tried 9 pairs of shoes and this one was the winner. It is both cushiony and seems to propel you forward. The upper is stretchy and works for my wider forefoot and the laces adjusted for more support. The upper is cut relatively low so if you are looking for more stability, this is probably not the shoe for you.

Nike has ruined this shoeI am a big fan of the Invincible 1s and 2s. Unfortunately, the Nike designers have, in my opinion, ruined this shoe with version 3. The midsole remains great (albeit a touch firmer than the 1s and 2s). But the upper is a disaster. The upper material is coarse and uncomfortable. The toebox is so shallow that the upper material rubs the tops of my feet when I run. And the heel collar is terrible -- it gapes open when I walk or run and there is a lot of heel slippage. Here's hoping that Nike corrects these issues with V4.

Great if they work for youBy now lots of reports of heel slip are out. Sadly, I was one of those runners that experienced it as well. Objectively, the shoe is great. Worth testing for yourself and a good update from the 2’s.

Invincible 3Way different than first two versions. One of the worst heels in running. Significant slipping, sharp cutting collar edge, heel collar feels too low. Tight upper fit, do feel as if they will last forever. Shoe has Rigid upper.

Should have bought a second pair of ver. 2This review is broken into two categories; 1. Review for people that have owned previous versions of the Nike Invincible and 2. Review as a running shoe, not comparing to previous versions. 1. Review for People Who used Previous Versions of the Nike Invincible: I loved version 1 and 2 of the invincible. The bounce off it had was really fun and helped my runs and completely unique to any other running shoe on the market. Loads of the ZoomX material was fantastic. I seldom buy the same model twice, but with the invincible I bought version one and two (which were very much the same) and now 3. Well, I wont be buying another pair of 3's and doubtful I will buy version 4 if its like version 3 instead of 1 and 2 (I really wich I purchased 2 more pair of version 2 instead of waiting for the 3's). What made this shoe for me was the bouncy energy return. The moment I tried them on I really loved them. Versions 1 and 2 I considered the perfect recovery shoe. I definately believe that versions 1 and 2 were and are considered max/cushion shoes without a doubt. Competitive products that I did not like as much would be the Hoka Bondi and the NB More X. I really tlike the NB More X, but loved the invincible 2's. Version 3 of the Invincible, is almost a entirely different shoe. I would say that it has about 65 to 70% of the bounce energy as the previous versions. And that for me was almost the entire selling point. Although versions 1 and 2 had a very thick material for the upper and a wider midsole, both these characteristics were found very beneficial for snow day runs. They were warm and very stable. Pro's version 3 (Comparatively speaking): - The midsole/whole shoe of version 3 is not as wide. Versions 1 and 2 definately were not what I considered light. - You still get that ZoomX bounce, but I feel it primarily in the heel area but not that much in the front for toe off. - The uppers are made of a lighter material and are not as hot for summer time runs. The uppers also are made of a almost plastic like material that actually have almost the same benefits as Gortex or waterproof shoes. They do not let a lot of water in when raining or even running through deep puddles. I would say overall, I like these uppers better than versions 1 and 2. - The overall shoe fit is very good. I have just the right amount of front foot space and I would consider these shoes out of the box ready. Con's version 3 (Comparatively speaking): - Has only about 65/70% of the bounce energy as previous versions. - Lacks the feature that made this shoe completely unique in the first 2 versions. - Overall – feels like a whole different model from the previous versions. - Cost – the invincible has become what I believe, ok daily trainers. As such, I can find ok daily trainers that I consider compatible to the invincible 3 that are much cheaper. 2. Review as a running shoe (not comparing to previous versions): - I would consider this shoe a decent daily Trainor. Competing models in my opinion would be the NB FuelCell Rebel 3 , the Hoka Cliftons, Hoka Rincon or the Altra Rivera’s. Given these choices, I would say the FuelCell Rebel 3’s would be the best choice. The fit of the shoe is very nice, pretty much spot on for my foot (high arches, wider base). I wouldn’t consider this shoe remarkable, but the good side is that I definitely categorize it as a shoe that one would forget on their run. For what the shoe would be used for, I think that the cost is way to high. I don’t regret buying this shoe but would not buy another pair.

Super ComfyInitial thoughts ooh love these but the more miles I put in, less I enjoyed. I’d say not the best for pronation. On a very positive note, they are super comfortable and squishy, and would recommend for standing and walking. The drop is also a bit much for my liking. Seems to be a very well constructed shoe.

Better version of 1or 2Just purchased the 3's and right away a way better cushioning then 1 or 2. I am 230 lbs. I need cushioning and stability and I felt that immediately. I will run in them today and see how each factor holds up. Shoe feels sung not sloppy. It would be nice if Nike would add a longer shoe lace to better adjust overall fit.

Weak and overratedIn my opinion running in the invincible 2’s are better than the new version due to the poor lockdown on the ankle and tight snug toe box . Put em on and walked around and immediately sent them back . All these runners on social media hyping these up just to be overrated . Thank you running warehouse for the great return policy .

Gave them a tryThis is my first pair. The cushioning is pretty extreme.....and not in a good way. The shoe feels sloppy. Also I had heel slip and a rub against my achilles. I have no idea what this shoe is for. Certainly not running or walking.

Nike ZoomX Invincible 3I had waited a long time for this amazing update. I have probably had 9 pairs of V1. And am still running in two newer pairs. V3 was a disappointment for me. From step in, the top of the heal collar pinched and irritated my Achilles. I hoped I wouldn't feel it when running. But I did. It also seems the shoe is missing or doesn't have the last eyelet far enough back to achieve lock down (for me). I was only able to make it about 800 meters on the treadmill before I called no joy. Beyond disappointed. The cushion and overall feel of the shoe feels as if it has amazing potential. But I'm worried if I truly try to run 5-10 miles in these, I'll be dealing with massive Achilles tendinitis. Please Nike, throw some padding in the heal of V4 (similar to V1) and it will be an epic shoe.

Nike ZoomX invincible 3I probably had 9 pairs of version one of the invincible. I am a big fan. I'm still running in 2 pairs of them. I didn't care for V2. And I had high hopes for this big update. I just ran in V3 for the first time. From step in, I could feel the top of the heal cup pinching both of my Achilles. The ZoomX foam is incredible, so I wanted these to work. I also was not able to achieve heal lockdown because the lacing system almost seems to be missing a last eyelet. The result is it's too far forward on my foot. It tightened then down the best I could and gave it a shot. I made it a half mile before I called no joy. I stopped before these hurt me. The heal either slipped or pinched the entire time. Beyond disappointed. But maybe it's just me. I'll be interested to see what others feel. Returning these sadly…
