What's New
The Brooks Dare Racerback 2.0 is a supportive sports bra that offers a customizable design. The bra features adjustable shoulder straps and an adjustable band with a rear clasp for a secure fit. A racerback style allows for optimal range of movement, and built-in molded cups support each breast and reduce any bounce or motion. The strategically placed perforations provide airflow and ventilation, while Brooks' DriLayer Horsepower fabric delivers sweat-wicking properties to help keep you dry and comfortable on your run.
The Bottom Line
Our testers enjoyed the seamless design of the Racerback 2.0 bra, and the high-impact support and coverage it provided. The testers also liked the adjustable straps, which offered a customized fit for versatile performance and made for easy concealing and styling with running tanks. Our team recommends the Scoopback 2.0 Bra for ladies who prefer a secure, adjustable fit for high-impact support when running.
Our In-Depth Look
Features & Style
Liz: "I love the adjustable straps and the racerback cut of this bra. The bra's customized fit helps to eliminate bouncing during high-impact activity without being too restrictive. My only issue is with the adjustable band. While it is nice being able to customize the size, I find that the band is hard to connect as you have to pull the bra on before attaching the band's clasp at the back. I just started leaving the band connected and pulling it over my head, but those with poor shoulder mobility and bigger chests may experience difficulty getting this bra on."
Kaitlin: "From its adjustable straps to its rear clasp, the Racerback 2.0 offers multiple points for customization. The bra's seamless fabric is fairly minimal without any excess coverage or fabric, making it breathable. The design is simple but sleek, with thinner straps that can be hidden by most tanks or would complement it."

Fit & Comfort
Liz: "I love the coverage and support this bra provides while still feeling lightweight and very comfortable. The cups lift and support each breast without feeling too compressive."
Kaitlin "The fit encompasses me well without feeling restrictive. The racerback construction provides a lot of support even without the band. I appreciate that this is a very supportive bra."

Quality & Value
Liz: "This bra is on the pricier side, but it is an amazing value for the features and quality construction it has. The bra offers a seamless feel and tons of adjustability. I also love that it lies flat and smooth across the body, so there are no bra lines underneath your clothing. I have already worn and washed this bra quite a bit, and there are no visible signs of wear. I feel confident that this durable and well-made bra will last a long time."
Kaitlin: "The fabric is high quality with great compression and structure. I would take extra care when washing this bra and avoid the dryer. I did not do that, and the decals are peeling off."

Individual Thoughts

This bra is so comfortable and supportive. I love the adjustable straps and the soft, breathable fabric it has. The racerback style offers freedom of movement and looks great under most running tops. My only complaint is with the adjustable band. Since this bra has a racerback design, it is difficult to connect the band (with the rear hook/eye closure) after you put it on. I started leaving the band connected and then pulling it on like a regular racerback bra. Some runners may enjoy the ability to customize the band's size, but I would have been happier with a traditional elastic band.

The Racerback 2.0 has a comfortable structure and offers plenty of support. It feels like a big step up from its predecessor. The seamless fabric is smooth against the skin, and the additional adjustments in the front and back create a fit that meets a variety of needs. None of the adjustment facets are directly against the skin, which helps prevent irritation. Apart from an underwire bra, this is probably the most supportive bra with a seamless design that I have worn.
