Product Highlights:
Inspired by Leadville, CO and its iconic 100-mile ultramarathon, the Speedland RX:LDVL combines road and trail elements to create a highly responsive gravel racing shoe. But you don't have to race or run ultras to enjoy its energetic and inherently stable ride for all your daily training, too. Whether you hit pavement on your way to the trails, or regularly run dirt and gravel fireroads, it's built to handle it all.
While it shares its midsole shape with its road-only RX siblings, the LDVL debuts a new, trail-adapted TPEE superfoam for the carrier layer. Together with the drop-in core layer of supercritical foam, you'll experience the best of both worlds: durability and responsiveness custom-tuned for the trails, with plusher comfort closer to your soles.
As with other Speedland models, you can remove the included carbon fiber plate whenever you like. With this unique design, you can choose your stiffness and propulsion, changing from aggressive racer to softer trainer and back again. If you prefer, you can swap in the optional Carbitex GearFlex carbon fiber plate (sold separately) for more flexible propulsion.
Up top, the airy spacer mesh upper is upgraded with a hook-and-loop strap to complement the one multi-directional Li2 dial. This BOA Fit System dial enables quick micro-adjustments tighter and looser. So, you can dial in the PerformFit Wrap to your preferred setting for snug comfort, and secure the ankle strap for better off-road lockdown.
Underneath it all, the Liteform polyurethane outsole provides versatile 3.5 mm lugs. With impressive grip and durability, it's ready to shred countless miles at whatever paces you like.
If you want propulsive performance and unequaled customizability for training and gravel racing, lock into the Speedland RX:LDVL.

Technologies
MIDSOLE
- Uncompressed TPEE superfoam is supercritical foam that isn't compression-molded, but is simply cut and smoothed into shape as the carrier base layer. Its responsiveness and durability are specially tuned for the trails.
- Proprietary drop-in core foam is a supercritical blend of OBC, EVA, and nylon compounds for a slightly plusher but still responsive underfoot experience. This thick layer (15 mm heel / 10 mm forefoot) is removable to insert or remove the included carbon fiber plate. This shoe isn't compatible with custom or third-party orthotics, insoles, or inserts.
- Carbon fiber plate (included) is full-length and removable. For max propulsion, this road-tuned plate is different and much stiffer than Speedland's optional Carbitex plate sold separately. If desired, the RX:LDVL is made to work with either plate.
OUTSOLE
- Liteform PU provides full-length polyurethane coverage for confident grip over variable road, gravel, and trail conditions.
- 3.5 mm lugs provide an ideal balance of grip, durability, and adaptability across multiple surfaces.
UPPER
- Spacer mesh is light and breathable, with strategically placed high-tenacity fibers for durability.
- PerformFit Wrap combines supportive overlays to securely wrap your midfoot.
- BOA Fit System utilizes a multi-directional Li2 dial to engage the PerformFit Wrap. This dial offers micro-adjustability in both directions, allowing you to instantly tighten or loosen the fit as quickly and as often as you like.
- Hook-and-loop strap nearer your ankle allows customizable lockdown.
