Overview

Spenco Polysorb Total Support Max Insoles provide a rigid arch structure for support with the Spenco's 3-POD cushioning system for comfort. Layered with EVA foam, these insoles also mold to the shape of your foot for a custom fit. A metatarsal pad spreads and cushions the metatarsal heads, while the SpenCore forefoot crash pad provides additional comfort and shock absorption.

CommentsI bought these to replace my worn out factory insoles in a pair of hiking boots because I think the boots have a few more long hikes in them if the insoles would still have some cushioning. I had high hopes for these, but when I put them in to test the fit, I discovered that they have this weird, awkward raised feature in the middle, just behind the ball of the foot. I might be able to get used to it, or it might compress down over time, but that's not a risk I can take when I plan to hike 20-30 miles over a couple days in them. I can't imagine why anyone would want a bump under the middle of their forefoot.
