All Women's Road Shoes

  • Daily TrainersDaily Trainers

The baseline definition of a running shoe. Daily Trainers lean on time-proven designs, technologies and features for dependable cushioning, support and comfort. They're a staple in every runner's closet, and if you are new to running shoes, then you should start your journey here.

  • Performance TrainersPerformance Trainers

Performance Trainers provide a springy feel and make longer runs easier and faster runs faster. While quicker than Daily Trainers, Performance Trainers are not nearly as fast as Super Shoes. Due to a focus on keeping things light weight, Performance Trainers are less durable than Daily Trainers. These can also be a good option for one's first race shoe.

  • Super ShoesSuper Shoes

Super Shoes are the fastest running shoes you can buy. They are designed to race your absolute best and represent the pinnacle of running shoe technology and innovation. They have the highest energy return foams and plates for new levels of performance. Low durability, but maximum speed is the name of the game here.

Men's Running Shoes by Surface

  • Roads & PavementRoads & Pavement

Road running shoes feature smooth outsoles that are designed for running on paved surfaces such as roads, sidewalks, and bike paths.

  • Smooth Trails & FireroadsSmooth Trails & Fireroads

Designed to handle most trail runs, these shoes prioritize comfort and a smooth ride. These shoes are great for anything from smooth singletrack, park trails, and fireroads making them ideal for those who run from their doorstep on streets before hitting the trail.

  • Rocky & Technical TrailsRocky & Technical Trails

These shoes are best used for hard, rugged trails such as shale, granite or sandstone where grip on smooth surfaces and underfoot protection are important.

  • Soft & Muddy TrailsSoft & Muddy Trails

Designed for use in muddy, soggy conditions, these shoes feature very aggressive outsoles that dig deep into soft ground for exceptional traction.

  • Snowy & Icy TrailsSnowy & Icy Trails

These shoes feature technical outsoles designed to grip snowy and icy trails making them ideal for winter trail running.

Cushioning Level

  • Cushioning level, or stack height, refers to how much shoe is between your foot and the ground. For this category, we reference the amount of cushioning below the forefoot as the heel height will be equal to or greater than the forefoot height.
Learn more about stack heights and how we measure them.

  • Barefoot

0-13mm. The Shoe generally does not have a midsole and feels like there is no cushioning. This shoe is all about feeling the ground underfoot.

  • Minimal

14-18mm. The shoe has a thin midsole that allows for a natural running experience. Racing shoes and minimalist shoes are common here. These shoes offer a feeling of being connected to the road or trail.

  • Low

19-23mm. The shoe has a slightly cushioned feel and may feature added cushioning technologies. Performance training shoes and some trail shoes are common here. These offer protection during footstrike but prioritize a lightweight, grounded experience.

  • Medium

24-28mm. These shoes have a stack height that fall near the middle of the spectrum. The shoes in this category are verstaile and great for all types of runs and distances.

  • High

29-34mm. The shoe has a thick midsole and ample cushioning. These shoes are highly protective and absorb more impact than the body.

  • Maximal

35mm plus. The shoe has an extremely thick midsole and extra cushioning. The focus is on protection and soft foam underfoot with hardly any ground feel.

Stability Level

  • Neutral

Neutral shoes support the foot through a normal range of arch collapse and generally do not have a built-in technology to correct movement.

  • Stable

Stability shoes are a great option for those who overpronate or need added support. These shoes help to limit the inward rolling motion of the ankle while running or walking and assist in guiding the foot straight through the gait cycle.

Product Details:

In the ever-evolving world of marathon racing shoes, the adidas adizero Adios Pro 4 stands out as a new top contender, blending innovation with lightweight efficiency. Building on its elite championship pedigree, the improved Lightstrike Pro superfoam is re-engineered to be lighter, softer, and more responsive. Featuring an enhanced rocker point, the double-layered midsole is embedded with familiar, full-length, carbon fiber Energy Rods 2.0. These elements combine holistically for your best experience by reducing fatigue and providing rigid snappy propulsion.

For the outsole, adidas has applied the new Lighttraxion GCPU compound for the full length, paired with Continental rubber at the toe-off for added traction where it's needed most, with the goal of maintaining grip and durability at an absolute minimum weight.

Lastly, comfort and lockdown have been reimagined with the softer, smoother Micro Fit upper composed of one-way stretch material, with an integrated LIGHTLOCK band for foot security with minimal materials.

In short, every element of this shoe is finely crafted to optimize performance, making the adizero Adios Pro 4 a true marathon powerhouse. Whether it's crushing a new PR or conquering the demands of elite racing, this evolution in speed was created for runners who seek nothing less than victory.

How We Measure Our Shoe Specs

  • We measure every shoe in-house to provide accurate and consistent details.

  • Weight

The weight is based on a Men's size 9 for Men's and Unisex shoes or Women's size 8 for Women's shoes. The weight listed is for a single shoe, including the laces.

  • Heel Stack

The heel stack refers to how high your heel sits above the ground when wearing shoes. Based on Men's size 9 as the standard.

  • Forefoot Stack

Forefoot stack refers to how high the ball of the foot sits above the ground when wearing shoes. Based on Men's size 9 as the standard.

  • Heel-toe Offset

Heel-toe offset (drop) is the difference in height between the heel stack and the forefoot stack. We use the number given to us by the brand.

How We Measure Shoe Fit

  • All measurements are based on Medium width.

  • Fit (width) options are Narrow - Snug - Average - Roomy - Wide.

  • Sizing (length) options are Short - True - Long. Note: fit is relative to the "average" running shoe.

  • We partner with SmartLast, a program by Heeluxe, to use advanced shoe-measuring technology, to provide objective measurements for toe box, midfoot, and heel widths as well as overall length.

Great long distance shoeI have worn all 4 versions of these shoes 1st - was a good attempt for a fast shoe but was just OK 2nd - was a huge step up & felt like a great marathon racing shoe or even long run training shoe 3rd - was also good but have not felt much of an improvement from the 2nd version 4th - THIS ONE - it's an another big step up PROS - they feel really great on feet, no irritation from laces, tongue or what so ever; this this can be personal And they are fast - running easier & slower pace - just just feel comfortable, and don't slow you down - some race shoes do that at slower paces. When picking up the pace to medium / moderate effort - they seem to help even more with the pace - faster you go; more they help CONS - just maybe the fit for some people - they do seem to run 1/2 a size or 1/4 of a size smaller so some need to size up by 0.5 a size

Cheat Codes for Running!!!!I have closets full of running shoes and this may be the best running shoe I have ever tried. I have tried other super shoes however none compare to these. It like your running on clouds and then you look down at your watch and can’t believe the pace you are running. Don’t get me wrong I am no elite runner, however , compared to my normal paces I can go much faster in these shoes with less effort. I pronate some so I was concerned about these shoes especially with the cut out on bottom. I had no issues!!! Amazing Shoe!!!

My favorite shoe of all time.OMG, just when I thought I couldn't find a shoe to ever replace my beloved Adidas Prime X Strung 1's as GOAT, I got these and, these are so much more bouncy, soft, and faster than the PXS. I've ran in all the super shoes and, nothing is as good as these. My only regret is I didn't order a bunch more to last me out for another year. I already have 100 miles on this pair.

One of the BEST racing shoes.I've ran / run in the AlphaFly 1, Vaporfly Next%, Superblasts, Prime X Strung 1 and 2, Wave Rebellion Pro 2's, and I have to say that this is the right up there with the Prime X Strung 1 as my favorite shoe of all time. In fact, I think this will be my replacement shoe for the PXS, since it is no longer made, and I'm on my last pair of it. PXS2 just sucked for me, and I hated that shoe. Anyways, if you check Rtings, they rate this as the best marathon distance racer.

Too soft for my liking.I own every Adios Pro model, and the 4s are by far the softest race shoe Adidas has ever released. Some runners might appreciate that, but as someone who prefers a firmer, more responsive ride, I just couldn't get along with this model. GOOD: While I never had issues with the uppers on the Adios Pro 1, 2, or 3, the upper on the Adios Pro 4 is a clear improvement. It wraps the foot securely and offers a solid lockdown, with just enough room in the toebox to avoid feeling cramped. The grip is also excellent. Even though Adidas moved away from the large slabs of Continental rubber, I had zero traction issues, even on wet surfaces. Bad: To me, the midsole is simply too soft. It’s a noticeable and, honestly, odd shift from Adidas typically firmer race-day feel. I know preferences vary, but even as a relatively light runner (5'8", 145 lbs) and a forefoot striker, I found myself sinking into the foam more than I’d like. Its bouncy but it lacks the snappy toe off feel I usually seek out when racing. The softness dulled the responsiveness and made it harder to lock into a rhythm and a bit unstable on turns as well. Conclusion: I ended up returning my pair, but I strongly recommend runners know their personal preferences before purchasing and make sure the retailer has a good return policy such as Running Warehouse. I'm a bit of an Adidas fanboy, and this model feels like a major departure from what came before. Some runners may enjoy the squishy, sink-in feel that resembles what you'd find in New Balance or Nike race shoes, but personally, that’s not what I’m looking for. Overall, it’s not a bad shoe it’s just not the right shoe for me. That said, I’m glad I picked up another pair of Adios Pro 3s on sale.

Way better than 3I've been racing with Adios Pro 3 and 4 is definitely improved. 3 feels fast for some people but actually, 4 is faster, more stable and comfortable. Most of all, Adidas fixed the size issue so it's true to size now. DO NOT buy one size down for these if you have been doing so. I tried both 3 and 4 back to back and 3 feels more clunky. 4 feels more tamed and feels like riding in a Cadillac. Tongues suck on 3 so they fixed it too. It's not going to be all over the place. Don't listen to people who didn't give 5 star review. They are outliers and their running style, feet shapes are different from majority of people.

Disappointing Pro 4I'm on my second pair of Pro 3 and just love the shoes albeit some gripes: laces, stiff upper. Was really looking forwaerd to the Pro 4. 26 miles in have developed severe blisters on both big toes. The larger toe box does not work for me. Laces are much improved but overall stability has not, But the blisters are just not acceptable. Disappointed.

Fan of the 3s, the 4s don’t cut it.Pros: - Revised upper is better than the 3s. Though I got used to the upper on the 3s and have no real issues. The upper on the 4 is softer, more pliant and will work for more people. - Better lacing than the 3s - the heel lockdown is improved. Cons: - The foam is softer and feels slower. More plush ride, I do not feel the pop I get out of the 3s. - The tongue is weird, short and the material feels cheap. - The upper is too stretchy. It feels like spandex and does not give a secure feel. - Last but not least - de-lam. My 3s have a couple hundred miles and are going strong, though some of the tread has worn off. The 4s have about 30 miles on them and the tread has delaminated and is hanging off the bottom of the shoe. Unusable. Getting in touch with customer service as this seems like a QC issue.
