Great daily trainergot this shoe to fill the gap left on my 560 mile on cloudmonster 2s and it was a great decision these are super light and give solid returns although they do run small and the upper gets hot

Cushion for daysLots of reviews say to size up but what does that really mean? Hope my trial and error saves someone from enduring a similar headache. I'm 6'/ 190 lb, Asics and Brooks size 11D US w/ a little room (width of my finger/ about 19mm) between big toe and front of shoe. Boston 12 size 10.5D US w/ again a little space between toe and shoe. SL2 size 11.5D US w/ slightly less room but still space so I'm not rubbing. If you have wide feet, look elsewhere. Toe box is narrow, mid is narrow. Super comfortable, and much softer than Boston 12. Caveat...I enjoy the Boston for the faster pace the shoe promotes and SL2 for easy running. I'm not naturally a fast runner but you could easily turn over a quick pace just not as punchy or reactive as the Boston. Hope this helps!

Runs a little small. It’s a good standard running shoe. It does the job but didn’t blow me away like it did to some of the reviewers online. I like my Boston 12’s better.

Awful DesignCompared to older versions of adizeros, to me these new shoes lack design creativity, they look really basic like entry level shoes. And those huge stripes of the adidas branding only make them look like fakes. Another thing I don't like is those three holes under the forefoot which definitely limit the use of the shoes exclusively to smooth surfaces.

Speed shoes! The Adidas Adizero SL 2 is very light, bouncy and comfortable. These shoes didn’t have carbon plates, but I was able to run fast. Amazing!! I love these shoes!

New Favorite TrainerExcellent everyday trainer. As someone who generally rotates between Nike Pegasus, Saucony Endorphin Speed, and Hoka Clifton, I prefer the SL 2. This model possesses comparable cushioning to the Clifton, responsiveness of the Speed, and durability of the Pegasus.

A true Adizero daily trainerI race in the Adios Pro and the Takumi Sen, and I’ve been waiting for a daily trainer from adidas to complement those shoes. The SL 2 fits the bill: soft and deep enough for recovery, and resilient enough to keep you moving. The toe box is a bit tight, but the upper loosens as you put in the miles. A great value!

Not as good as the previous versionThis shoe both fit different and felt flat to me compared to the previous SL model. I found that it wasn't for me.

Couldn’t even walk home50 year old male, weight is in healthy 150s, first pair running shoes age 11 and I had to get real serious about covering distance when I quit driving at 19 years (eyesight). I ashamed how long it took for me to reformat my travels as an extended trail run with differing surfaces. Living in small town Vermont with crusty roads and many hills. Average 25- 35 miles a week. Sometimes the body says we walking today but I have to move to survive. Textbook neutral left foot and right foot that under pronates. Narrow feet shaped like katana knife tip. 85% efficient heel strike, the rest is forefoot. I do better old school hybrid do it all shoes. My GOAT was the Adidas Boston Boost 5. Currently running the Novablast trail 3. Because I went through so many Adidas Bostons over the years I had hopes that maybe the SL2.0 would be a summer option. I can’t even walk in these. The design is strictly forefront striking. Any time the heel touches down, like hills, the foam bottoms out. I think the heel collar may go too high on the side walls and I like enveloping heel collars. Insole is glued down and there was a definite gap in the left toebox. Fits true to Adidas sizing for length. The heel is narrow but midfoot and toebox open up. Imagine an ice cream cone. Very light, nicely padded but had to return after 2 attempted runs and like I said couldn’t comfortably walk home in them. As always, thanks to Running Warehouse for all the excellent customer service.
