Throwing Shoes: Shotput, Discus, Hammer, Javelin

Throwing shoes are designed for the shot put, discus, hammer throw, or javelin. To learn which throwing shoes are best for your event, read our Beginner's Guide to Throwing Events.

Textured Outsole/Glide Movement Throw Shoes

Designed for use in the Shot Put, Discus, and Hammer Throw. The grippier nature of the Textured Outsole is better suited for wet rings or for beginners who benefit from slightly slower throwing speeds as they learn proper mechanics.

Smooth Outsole/Rotational Movement Throw Shoes

Designed for use in the Shot Put, Discus, and Hammer Throw. The slick nature of the Smooth Outsole is better suited for dry rings or for advanced athletes who can effectively throw at faster speeds.

Javelin Throwing Spikes

Javelin Boots are uniquely designed for the Javelin Throw alone. Javelin Boots have spikes in the front of the shoe as well as the heels to provide maximum traction when planting to throw.

SPECIAL NOTE: Javelin Boots CANNOT be used for any other event.
