Mixed feelingsNot sure if keeping. The inner drawstring is not flattering & the extra stitching, although impt for supporting what you carry in the front waistband is kinda weird looking when the waistband is empty. I’m a s in leggings & the s in theses fit well.A little dorky looking but should hold nutrition well- will see if I keep them
Perfect for marathon trainingThese shirts are my new favorite. The pockets are fantastic for fuel and I can fit my phone in the back pocket. They are the perfect length and the fabric is super fast drying - great for marathons. So glad I invested in these. The draw during hasn’t bothered me, but I do wear brief stile underwear with these because the drawstring is sticker. Helps make the skorts secure though!
Great shorts!I was hesitant to purchase due to the drawstring comments, but it was easy to leave untied and left extended along the inside of the waistband. I do wish they had made it possible to remove, but it didn’t bother me during my half marathon.
The pockets along the waistband are awesome. I don’t like my side pockets super bulky, so that was great for me. Also loved the back zipper pocket- the main reason I decided on these.
Overall a great pair of shorts. They are comfortable, don’t ride up, and lots of storage.
I’m a muscular 145 and 5’6.5” and the medium was perfect.
Worth the costGreat long run/race shorts. Very comfortable material; does not ride up; stores lots of stuff. Worth the cost to skip the belt or vest.

Great shortsI have been on a quest to find the perfect running shorts that can hold my stuff and don’t chafe me. I was hesitant on spending $70 but they are worth every penny. They are light weight and soft. They don’t chafe me and I am able to carry all my race fuel without feeling weighed down. I highly recommend purchasing. I wish they had more colors. I would order more.
Comfortable and functionalThese shorts are marketed as trail I think because of all the storage space but I use them for road running and I think they’re fantastic. The material is really soft and all the waistband room is great. Things do shift around a little in the waist pocket and the internal drawstring makes the front a little bulky looking, but it really doesn’t bother me. I’m a muscular legged size 2/4 and the S fits perfectly. Also 5” inseam is the best length of short- no chafing but doesn’t look like short capris.
My favorite shorts!These are my absolutely favorite shorts. I keep buying more and recommend them to all my friends. So many pockets that are easy to access and they don’t slip down or ride up

Near perfect?I purchased these shorts in an attempt to fulfill all my requirements for the perfect pair of racing shorts, and these deliver. I suffer from some tummy upset during longer races, so I don't like having something high waisted and compressive on my belly, and these are midrise which is already kinda hard to find. Admittedly, that's not the most flattering look on me, and there's definitely some spillage, but a price I'm willing to pay if everything else is right. And everything else seems to be just right. ALL the pockets! Perfect 5 inch inseam for that long enough to not chafe but not too long to be unflattering sweet spot. Did I mention the pockets? Zip, side, waistband! A pocket for all your needs! No need for a running belt with these bad boys! I will say that the size chart is off. Based on my measurements, it said I needed a medium which I thought was odd because I'm usually a small in most bottoms (size 6 in most jeans). I bought the medium, and surprise, they were too big. I exchanged for the small which are perfect.
