A medium impact bra typically doesn’t have many extra features, but overall, we like this style and the features that it has. The hook and eye closure is an easy way to adjust the band for a custom fit. If you prefer a traditional non-adjustable band, having to do the hook behind your back might be tough, but it does add nice support. We like the crossback straps, especially the extra padding that adds comfort to the shoulders.

The mesh zone for ventilation in the middle of the chest is a nice addition for runs in hot weather or with lots of sweating. We have mixed feelings about whether or not the mesh used in the straps on the back is functional or purely aesthetic, though Ava noted that hers is falling apart (more on this later). We also like the added support from the sewn-in cups; even for those of us who typically do not like this feature, the padding here is subdued enough to work for varying preferences.

As far as any other features go, Becky noted that a phone storage pocket would have elevated her experience.

The overall fit is similar to other rabbit bras that we have tried. We would describe this bra as medium to high support, which is supported by the hook closure and sewn-in cups. Becky tends not to gravitate towards higher impact bras, but she felt well-supported in this one. We think this will work for multiple cup sizes from small to large. 

For Ava, the fit was a little tighter around the band than what she would have liked, though she understands that a tighter fit is typical for a more supportive bra. That said, she didn’t want to keep this bra on longer than after her run ended, and she personally would have preferred to go up a size for a more relaxed fit.

For many years, the quality of rabbit apparel has always lived up to its performance. For the most part, the Zone 3 Bra is no different. This bra is very nice and worth the price, especially for those who prefer a medium-high support and crossback bra. $60 is a reasonable price point for the value provided.

As with a regular bra, often the hook closure is what bends or eventually wears out. However, we haven’t noticed any visible wear on the closure after multiple runs.

For Linda, the construction is spot on with no concerns of falling apart. She hesitates on whether the material wicks enough. All of her test runs were during a humid Atlanta summer, so she and the bra were soaked. Although the bra was wet, there was no chafing. 

Ava experienced a unique durability issue. The mesh in the straps started falling out after about 5-6 washes—granted, she was washing with warm water and the recommended is cold. The mesh in the straps is not sewn in, and the glue started failing on both straps. This doesn’t affect the support or performance of the bra, so it’s not the worst case scenario, but it’s not ideal.
