Katie joined the track team in high school (with the goal of getting out of PE!) and discovered that as much as she loathed competing, she loved being a casual runner. Through her running career, Katie has hit goals (half marathons), but she finds running to be the most beneficial for her mental health and cross training for horseback riding- her main sport! Her favorite race has to be a tie between City to Sea in San Luis Obispo and the Halfling Marathon in New Zealand!
